GumDrop Drop Series Case for GT 10.1 avaliable Aug. 25th

Hello Folks,
So the GumDrop Drop Series case for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is currently in preorder status on GumDrops website but I recieved a response from them indicating that the cases will be in stock on August 25.
Wanted to let everybody know who is interested in a Rugged type case for the Galaxy Tab and is shaping up to be one of the better rugged cases but were hesitate how long they would be waiting in preorder status....

$60 bucks is expensive though, wish there was a flap for screen

Yeah, but I guess a positive is that the price includes a integrated screen protector which can be snapped out and replaced or not used at all for ppl that may not like screen protectors or already have one installed.
That and the similar style otterbox for the iPad 2 and Xoom is around $89.00

Very true! But this sammy gt10.1 will survive a crash like a panasonic toughbook! (unlike the toshiba thrive)

Anybody heard anything more about when these are due to ship? Wanted to order the military case but wish it came in a color other than the ACU green. So I just ordered Black/Black. Really hoping they ship these soon.

Yeah, that is pretty hideous.

On the GumDrop website it just says "Late September" so not sure on the exact date.
It looks like both the regular and the military style have been delayed a bit so I hope it isnt pushed back again.
Also, I wish they would have gone with a Coyote Brown style for the military color as they would look extremely cool as opposed to the "Nickelodeon Slime Green" for the current military version.....

Agree...a flat dark earth or coyote would have looked better. Or multicam lol. Just hope they start shipping soon. Dont feel like putting too much wear and tear on the tab yet.

That case sure looks like it'll add quite a bit of bulk and weight to the tab. I'm still considering between using a case and caseless.

Are these cases for children? Looks like it.

They are for anyone that might drop their tab on a hard surface from 2 or more feet up.
If that includes children, then I guess you could say that.
BTW, the Black color one is now shipping with the other colors coming in September 30th.
I ordered yesterday and will post a review for all the children of the world to read when it comes in.

Leather case...

Looking for a leather case/holder for the GN (in the UK), not interested in any of the things that clip/slide on to the back of the phone
Just something to leather to slide the phone in and out of (no metal clips etc on it)...vertical or horizontal, matters not to me.
Also, what screen protector would people recommend?
Unlike nokia, samsung doesnt seem to make accessories like this for their phones themselves :|

the fitbag one says it's fitted with a lining or something to clean screens...dont know how good/bad that is

Not sure what you're looking at. Their 'shipping costs page' says:
Germany
For delivery as maxi letter within Germany we charge flat fee of 2.50 EUR per order.

As kupuguy mentioned.. not sure where you got that from. They ship internationally (and at pretty decent rates too). I ordered mine last week. It's set to ship out this week (finally).

cheaper and high quality,i recommend that soft pouch

Norêve does'nt have one for the Galaxy Nexus yet, but you can subscribe to getting an email when it is available. They make beautiful cases, but expensive.
FitBag Does deliver in Europe. Don't expect too much of the microfiber lining though. It's nice, but won't clean your dirty screen. You still have to do that yourselve \\

It's a great leather but you'll be able to find something ALMOST equal on ebay. Portfolio-style with credit cards supports etc.

Nice case. A good idea, and well presented too!

For me the best leather case is from Zenus. im using Mastige Ostrich beige colors

I saw a YouTube video on the case and wanted it so badly too. So I went on the site and tried sending an email but got no reply whatsoever. Mind you, this was exactly 10 days ago. zenus is the best

I personally don't like zenus. their cases are not elegant on design.. it looks like more suitable for young peoples. I'm too old and can't match their pattern / color style. I will study gmarket website and order it, additional delivery charge is around US$10. I think it worth me to buy it at total US$63, a best leather case plus function of an additional wallet.

in the option menu, from top to down, i translated the first four options.

Okay Now that Vinyl decals are a Craze for every Phone.

Makes it pretty expensive, but it is possible.

I love the look of these skins, but I'm wary of putting one on in the long run, because I like certain cases and the look of the "naked" phone, not to mention the faceplate won't work with a screen protector. I was, however, interested about getting just the piece to go over the camera lens, because I figured an ebony camera bit on a red nexus would be a nice accent piece,
I contacted Toast through Facebook, completely sure I'd get a "Sorry, but we can't do individual camera pieces because.." They responded within a day, telling me they'd work it out. After ONE e-mail to them, they assured me they would sell me a single lens cover for $5(shipping included). I'll be getting that ebony piece, for sure.
I have to say, they're making a fantastic impression on me already.

I see on Toast you have to use the Skin with the name exposed 'TOAST' on the bottom.
But its more customization and much more options than the DBRAND.
I receive now my DBRAND skin, and It fits with perfection and are really good quality, the wood seens to be real because the skin of 3M have details in high relief. Very good company.
I will buy one in Toast too.

Oh nice! How difficult is it to pop the old back out and put one of these in? I've been curious about the wood since they launched it after I got mine.
They're not too inexpensive though, wonder if it's worth it or if I should just wait I replace with 2015 Moto X (skipping the 2014).
