Settings for BEST possible video recording quality?

Only had my Desire HD about 3 weeks, rooted last week, installed Lg Camera Pro.....but as I know absolutely ZERO when it comes to any kind of camera/camcorder stuff...what is the best setting for best possible video quality?
Options under video resolution are:
640 x 480
704 x 576
720 x 480
800 x 480
960 x 720
1280 x 720
Then I have video encoder options:
Default
H.263
H.264
MPEG4
Then: Video file Format
MPEG4
3GP
File size at the end of the recording is not an issue, as I have a big SD card and don't record to much video, but when I do record I want it to be the very very best possible.
Any help - very very much appreciated.
cheers
Matt
Hi matt
For me, the best possible video output is 800x480 with MPEG4 as format. Stable 50fps under bright place and still manage to maintain 20+ fps in low light. Recording in full HD is nice, but limited to 30fps at most and low audio bitrate. Also, try to adjust the sharpness to -1 or -2. It will improve the fps. There's also a thread for DHD camera guide I guess. For better compression, I choose the H.264 format.

How to record 4k video ?

On iPhone 5s, even it doesn't support 4k recording officially, we can record 4k video by installing an app called "Vizzywig 4K". It captures full 4K resolution photos (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 24 photos per second while capturing an audio soundtrack separately. Is there any app similar on android?
You need a camera that officially supports 4k before you can record in 4k. I highly doubt this app can 'magically' allow a camera to record in 4k, it is mostly placebo. The zenfone 2 can't record in 4k as it's camera only supports 1080p Max.
You can try open camera.

This app is proven to be work, just did a Google search. http://www.engadget.com/2014/09/17/hands-on-with-the-1000-vizzywig-4k-app/
Also this app work by taking 24 photos in one second, so is it possible for our ZF2 to do so?

I have tried it, it can only record 1080p even the option for recording 4k is enabled
Perhaps what I am looking for is an camera app that can take 24 "3840 x 2160" photo in one second and than combine these photos with a sound recording to form a video.
No. You can't do it. Even if it did work, it would be very shaky because you are not considering the lack of image stabilization. The ZenFone 2's shutter speed is just too slow to capture 24, much less 15, photos per second.

Slo mo Brightness problem....

Have been facing brightness and clarity issues in slomo videos at 120fps in default cam... Any alternatives??

How to contact Emui devs? (Emui 9.1 Bugs)

I have several suggestions for Emui.
-Set the maximum audio bitrate at 320kbps to Media_profile instead of 192kbps.
-Set the maximum bitrate of 1080p at 20mbps and 60mbps for 4K (264) to Media_profile
-Increase the resolution of the native screen recorder to FullHD or FullHD+
-In some games the audio is desync (also happens when using recorder)
I have tried to do it with root in the past with .195 and it shows a substantial improvement in video and audio recording.
I would like that together we get Huawei to read us ... it is absurd to have 192kbps of audio and a low bitrate for video and an HD resolution for a FullHD screen ...
Thanks

Continuous 1080p 240fps recording

Hi,
I wonder if continuous recording in 1080p with 240fps is possible? If not how long can you record in 1080p with 240fps.
And is this true 1080p240 or is it upscaled or framedoubled?
Anyone got Samples?
Thanks in advance

Slomo modes are these ones :
- 1080p 120fps (max allowed realtime by G90 in 1080p)
- 720p 240fps (max allowed realtime by G90 in 720p)
- 720p 960fps with interpolation (need some calculations at the end of the video)
1080p 240fps isn't possible yet...if it became one day, it will be with interpolation too.
