Force closes on playstore, keyboard on boot.Back button and menu button don't work.It looks promising if you fix this problems.:good:
ps:A ROM logo on boot is half cutted.
Hello,
Thank you for you great work. All A-ROM that I have tested are amazing
My Galaxy S has never been as many times formatted :silly:
I installed A-4.4.2 ROM coming from A-5.1.1 ROM. I performed a full wipe (Date, System, Cache, Dalvik Cache).
I installed only the ROM and reboot the phone. At this point, all functionality are OK and phone is responding very well.
Then reboot to recovery to install last OPEN-GAPPS (open_gapps-arm-4.4-pico-20160217).
After successful install and Reboot, problems start and the ROM is become unstable.
The error "Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped" is occurred all the time. Keyboarding is impossible.
Also "Back Key" is not working in any application or menu. There is no way to go back.
Hope that you will find a solution. Meanwhile I go back to A-5.1.1 ROM :good:
PS: the boot logo is corrupted.

Hello,
I installed the new A-ROM version with the GAPPS package and now it's OK:
- No Keyboard crash.
- No Store crash.
- Back Key working.
- Boot logo OK.
The only problem I found til now is with cLock app : weather is not displayed (No data all the time).
I used the phone with 1GHz CPU and KMS activated.
With Antutu BenchMark v5.2 I got max 5939.
PS : For 1.2GHz CPU, the phone is not very stable. Random reboots are observed.
i don't like GAPPS, and yeah, it's a very good rom, but i have an interesting problem: my keyboard crashing sometime. Special: When I make a vertical position to horizontal. And boom, crash time.
How can i fix? Because i use another Android Keyboard app, and this is a goooooood rom, better than 6.0 roms now.

try google keyboard from playstore thats the only soution
play the new Arom video streams? Zatto/Clipfish??? All other Arom Version play nothing.
same here - horizontal keyboard crash crash crash
i'm on 4.4.2 on an LG g2 mini. yes, stock 4.4.2 is better than CM12.1 that i was on before.
yes, i think your ROM has the same keyboard as i had found somewhere and like.
Android_Keyboard_(AOSP).APK. i think it's one for ICS. "Unfortunately, Android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped"
so yes, i'll love if you can fix your ROM's keyb-issue - and tell me how to extract the keyboard as an APK so that i can give it a go.
the google keyboard from the play store doesn't crash, but it misses the long-press characters (and i don't remember if swiping works on it).

This is simple :
1. YOU NEED TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL 3 FILE JVU (STOCK!) 2.3.6 ROM
2. After that: CWM recorvery for the 3 file JVU 2.3.6 rom
3. Find the right Semaphore kernel, and do it
4. AND NOW INSTALL THIS ROM!

Ya there is an one way just copy fonts from other rom and place in this rom and flash it. (Go to system> copy Fonts folder and place in this rom)
Hi there,
Rom is really good. There is a problem with my phone. I can use some of the sdcard1 sdcard0 but I can not see my computer. Sdcard1 part does not appear in the pictures in the gallery.
I do computer connection via TWRP I see sdcard0 and sdcard1. Sdcard intact. Also Settings \ Storage seems to sdcard size.
What do I need to use some Sdcard1.

Imoseyon_leanKernel_v1.3.0gnexus
FEATURES
Patched to latest in Linux 3.0.x branch: 3.0.14, which was released 12/21/11 (lots of new/updated kernel code).
All unnecessary kernel components removed to make kernel lean and fast!
OC to 1.35Ghz (Michael Huang, optimized by me). Boot speed is maxed at 1.2ghz within kernel (in addition to ramdisk) for stability.
GPU overclock (Michael Huang).
User voltage control (Michael Huang, fixed and enhanced by me).
InteractiveX V2 (screen-off hotplug of cpu1) added. Select it using setcpu if you want to use it.
Ramdisk tweaks (sysctl, vm, filesystem speed, etc.)
SWAP & zram (next generation compcache) support. Run "zram enable" in terminal.
init.d support in ramdisk.
Hotplug governor optimized for stability.
cpufreq backport from Linux 3.2-rc7
rcu code backport from Linux 3.2-rc7
other linux 3.2 backports: dm, futex, etc.
Undervolted by default (1.35ghz/1325, 1.2ghz/1300, 920mhz/1250, 700mhz/1150, 350mhz/950)
CHANGELOG
v1.0.0 - Initial release
v1.0.1 - Fixed power off charging (only upgrade if you care about that).
v1.1.0 - rcu code updated to linux 3.2-rc7, boot speed max forced to 1.2ghz within kernel (stability), hotplug governor should be more stable now, zram enabled including custom enable script (run "zram enable" in terminal), small bug fixed in voltage control code.
v1.2.0 - interactiveX V2 with hotplug support, user undervolting works now, and all speeds undervolted by default (clear setcpu settings before flashing), ALSA SoC driver updated to 3.2-rc7
v1.2.1 - reverted a dep voltage change I made in 1.2.0. Only update if you're experiencing stability issues in 1.2.0 (if your coming directly from a version prior to 1.2.0 make sure you clear custom voltage settings)
v1.3.0 - re-wrote a lot of my user undervolting code (fixed some bugs and probably introduced others - haha)
updated dm and futex code to linux 3.2, gpu undervolt at top speed
some code cleanup. (clear setcpu settings before flashing).
Oh one more thing: undervolting 1.35ghz and higher is not reliable yet and is not recommended.

Thanks buddy a wait your feedback
I want work on cdma now....
Post on Rootzwiki please plenty of testers there
I'm digging it....very nice work, lots of options to play with, only addition for me would be to change the color of the soft touch keys. Other than that very fast and stable thus far
I was browsing GSM forums the other day. I seen this rom and I'm like "damn why can't we have this rom"..... and now we do I will be testing this out no doubt
Thanks all i wait your feedback
I like it too. Nice toggles lol
Hey I tried this rom and sorry but its not working right. It installed and everything. But on the start up screen, it tells me to pick a language and tells me to hold on while my phone is being activated and when its finished and I hit next, it force closes the setup wizard and brings me back to the select a language screen and it just force closes everytime I try to get past the "activation finished" screen. I did the trick to get past the activation screen and I got to the actual rom and its really sweet. I love the animated pull down. I went into accounts to setup my gmail but gmail wasn't in the options of accounts. Gmail app was on the phone but when i clicked on it, force close. I flashed a G apps zip file that I had on my internal memory but same issues. Trust me, no rom I tried so far had me liking it from the start. I hope you can look into this soon and fix it quick :/
Any others users experienced this?
And yea I did a full wipe and everything

AMAZING
IMO THIS ROM ROCKS! Next to Gummy 0.6.6 - theya re by far the two best on the forums. Hopefully KANG CM9 Project will take off - IMO CM9 for the daily driver once the bugged are worked out.
VERY NICE ROM - HAS EVERYTHING THE OTHERS ARE MISSING.
Please continue porting this to CDMA.
Did you get your Gmail account to sync?

Try downloading the rom file again and flash it again, wipe everything and see what happens, iv had it happen in the past but not with this one. It work flawlessly
Thanks I've gotten it to work. On Rootzwiki it was happening to everyone and someone said to flash the aokp gapps or Gummy gapps and everything worked fine after that so anyone who has that issue should do that.

Cool....that was actually my next question...and if u were using rom manager to wipe n flash but you got it, hope u like it I know I do
Yea its a pretty sweet rom. Im really liking it. Every time I tried a new rom I'd always end up going back to aokp but I don't know if that's the case this time lol
Hey if you don't mind a little feedback......maybe wanna make it for us to be able to move around the navigation buttons. Like to switch them around. I'm not used to the search button being the first button on the navigation bar. Also it might just be me but when when you enable the search button, the search button seems to be a little more spaced out from the rest. And one last little input, maybe make it so we can have the navigation bar any color we want. A lot of roms have this and I kinda got used to it lol but yea other than the two small features this rom is awesome lol
Is this something new for this rom or did I never notice but the 5 apps set right below the line on bottom, you can scroll left and right for more pages? Think that makes sense?
Thanks all for feedback....today fix a setupwizard bug

Its Nova Launcher. You can set it on/off, put up to 7 icons on the dock, put infinite scroll for the dock, put a number of docks (I forgot the number of docks it will let you scroll by), and other options. Nova launcher is a pretty sweet launcher

Firstly, I just want to say that this is not my creation, I take no credit, and I'm posting pretty much what it says on the original thread right here. If you wanna thank the devloper (Androguide.fr), follow the link below. I'm posting here so more i9250 aka Galaxy Nexus owners can take a look.

UPDATE!! I'll post update changlogs here, if you dont feel like going to the original thread.
v2.1.2
- Fixed conflicting tweaks that caused bootloops and/or were breaking network on some devices
~ Please report if these kind of issues persist ~
- Made the package lighter by removing some unused left-over files from previous versions
v2.1.1
- Fixed missing chmod script which was preventing init.d scripts from running
- Possible fix for the apps that aren't installed properly on some devices
v2.1
Introducing a new tweaks selection screen : Pimp my Kernel
--> Tweak 6 of the most common CPU Governors : Ondemand//OndemandX//Interactive//SmartassV2//Lulzactive//Conservative
--> Tweak your default I/O Scheduler & Disable I/O Stats
--> Disable & Re-Enable VSync
--> Disable Normalized Sleeper // Gentle Fair Sleepers // New Fair Sleeper (just moved, was already there before)
-->Misc. Kernel Tweaks : Disable kernel error checking (already there before) // Sysctl kernel msgmin & msgmax tweak
Added an option to revert Adblocking
Fixed the issue where beats audio and walkman options would be displayed for gb roms when it shouldn't
Various bugfixes (a few swapped selections and unworking tweaks)
Removed the extra apps screen, this wasn't really matching the mainline of this project, since you can grab those apps from the market. Plus this makes the whole package lighter.
Switched to miui installer theme
v2.0
ø New Tweaks selection screen : Multitasking
==> Choose between :
4 levels of OOM Priorities
4 levels Minfree settings
2 levels of ZRAM compression
Tweak your kernel and dalvik cache to behave well and be stable on hard multitasking conditions
ø New Tweaks selection screen : Networks & Internet
==> Security tweaks :
Reinforce your TCP/IP Stacks to make them resist to SYN attacks which cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on your device. Now those lame-ass blackhat hackers won't harm you with this.
Block redirects : auto website redirections will be blocked
Block source-routing : source-routing can be used to hack into your device as it allows full tracing of packets.
==> Stability & Speed tweaks :
Increase the buffer and queue size of each tcp socket to give more stability on high broadband consumption conditions
Allow the system to re-use the Sockets on TIME-WAIT state. In clear time-wait causes memory-loading, memory-loading causes internet lagg, internet lagg sucks.
Various IPv4 protocol speed tweaking scripts using sysctl
DNS and ppp0 tweaks for faster name-resolution, which means faster connections to websites.
ø New Tweaks selection screen : GPS Configuration
==> Choose between 79 countries (and 5 continents) of gps.conf files: those files are essential for the accuracy and lock-speed of your device's gps. (Thanks to gangsterjoop for the files)
ø New Adblock file of over 200 000 hosts ! (100x more than before) (Thanks to BSDgeek_Jake for the host file) --> added to extra features screen
ø New init.d scripts :
Move Dalvik-cache to /cache to increase data storage
Bind-mount dalvik-cache to allow a device to boot without sdcard (useful for devices with damaged internal sdcard)
Touchscreen responsiveness improvement tweaks
ø New Enable/Disable features :
Disable and Re-Enable Android logger
Disable Gentle Fair Sleepers
Disable New Fair Sleepers
Disable Normalized Sleeper
ø Rewritten every single init.d script :
This allowed me to realize many of them were not working, so I added a lot of missing values, and fixed a countless number of errors, redundant values and typos. So there should be some big improvement on the effects of init.d tweaks.
I also set an order of execution of init.scripts to avoid conflicts.
ø Removed themes and S-Voice
The S-Voice flaw that allowed other devices to use it appears to be patched and it was heavy, and themes were heavy and not really useful, you can download a countless number of them for free on the market
ø Changed installer theme to Sense
I realized that the options subtitles were not readable with ics theme, so most of the tweaks effects explainations were hidden.
ø Pimp My Rom will now come in two versions :
One will include the latest version of Aroma (with touchscreen working out-of-the-box, but issues on some devices) and One using Aroma v2.51 (With touchscreen calibration, and this version appears to fix the weird texture/ghost-input/moving screen/vibration issues people have with some devices with aroma v2.56)
ø Major code clean-up, various bugfixes
Re-organized and cleaned-up both aroma-config and updater-script
Fixed the way the installation process input displays sections and sub-sections
Fixed some tweaks getting installed instead of others when they shouldn't, and some other bugs
Pimp my Rom is an aroma-installer based script that will allow you to choose between a plethora of nice tweaks, mods, apps, themes and features to add to your current rom.
YOU CHOOSE which options and tweaks to apply, all this with a nice touchscreen interface, even if you're not running a touchscreen recovery, thanks to Aroma.
You can now run this script on any Android Device !!! (GB/HC/ICS/JB)
PmR was originally created for the Galaxy tab 7.7 (p68xx), but it has now evolved into a universally usable script !

I don't understand AT ALL why this has been posted here. It's not specific to our device and you didn't create it.
There only needs to be ONE thread and that one is already in the correct forum. If you want to be nice and notify Nexus users, then fine - just drop a quick heads up in the general forum. Don't just mirror somebody's thread.
This is totally unnecessary and something I can't imagine the original creator would support.
Does the aroma installer work on gnex?

FAQs
I can't flash zip file!
You must install TWRP. It doesn't work with CM recovery
My phone gets bootloop. What can I do?
You can use fastboot to flash stock kernel. Or just easily re-flash ROM.
This kernel makes my phone runs slow!
I can't help you. It works fine for me. I use CM's source code and I just add some feature.
Can you add/remove/fix blah blah feature?
OK. I'll try. But first I must do my homework. I'm a student, not a developer
Do I need to move data from internal storage to sdcard before disabling it ?
Yes. But if you forgot, don't worry. All your data is still in /data/media/0
See post #2 for more infomation

MOD: Disable emulated storage (internal storage)
MOD: Disable emulated storage (internal storage)
FOR ANDROID 6.0+: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63787343&postcount=845
This mod works on almost roms. I tested it on CM11, CM12, Bliss pop v2.3, AICP, CM12.1 (beta 2 and 3), Flex OS and XenonHD
Update: Maybe not works on CM12.1 nightly
Unlike init.d method, this method is more stable. It will disable the emulated storage and change default storage to your real sdcard.
To use this mod, you must have:
- A computer running Windows
- Java Runtime (jre) installed (to use apktool)
- Your xperia M using NUI kernel
- You have to move ALL data from internal storage to sdcard before using this mod
- Download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/rj3vnokcbl8eyit/disable_emulated_storage_20150917_2.zip
Update log:
9/17/2015: Update apktool to v2.0.1. Fix problem on some nightly builds. Add zip align tool.
6/27/2015: Use 7z instead of zip1.exe
7/29/2015: Fix for dual SIM
7/30/2015: Adapted to v4.5
Guide:
Extract files from disable_emulated_storage.zip
Run 1Pulling_Files.bat and follow the instructions
After running 2Patching.bat, 3 files named backup.zip, NUI_MOD.zip and NUI_MOD_1.zip are generated
Flash NUI_MOD.zip
If it doesn't work, flash NUI_MOD_1.zip
If both files don't work, flash backup.zip
Enjoy!
Notice:
If you want to remove your sdcard, turn off phone first.
Wiping dalvik cache is recommend

You can reboot your phone to have the default voltage value
This is my UV settings. I suggest using Kernel Tuner
From 384MHz to 702MHz I reduce 200mV
From 702 to 1.6GHz I reduce 150mV (Don't reduce more. Otherwise, your phone will reboot immediately)
Code:
384000: 750000
432000: 775000
486000: 775000
540000: 800000
594000: 800000
648000: 825000
702000: 825000
756000: 875000
810000: 875000
864000: 900000
918000: 900000
972000: 925000
1026000: 925000
1080000: 975000
1134000: 975000
1188000: 1000000
1242000: 1000000
1296000: 1025000
1350000: 1025000
1404000: 1037500
1458000: 1037500
1512000: 1050000
1620000: 1100000
Wiil try tonight and post the results.
My ROM at the moment is RR 537 CM12.

Well...as is the case with almost every OC kernel I've tried, the second core is stuck at maximum frequency. Kernel Tuner cannot make the settings stick. Any suggestions?

That's because of the mpdecision included in almost qcom devices. You can try the newest Kernel Tuner 2015 (with green icon). Or you can use these command in terminal:
Code:
su
stop mpdecision
So I can use Kernel Tuner 2014 and be OK even after a reboot? OK thanks!

Almost feature in that kernel was included in my kernel. Just enjoy the smoothness and longer battery life!
SOME REMARKS:
1) Is undervolt is really working? You know i have tried undervolting from inside ACPUCLOCK file but i didn't find any difference.
2) AFAIK mpdecision maintains clock speed disabling it will give you max freqs all the time.
3) Use intelliplug it governs frequency better than mpdecision.

There's only one method to make sure UV work: If you under volt more than 250mV and change cpu freq again, your phone will reboot immediately! That because voltage table will be read when cpu freq is changed
About the mpdecision, I've found a way to disable it. I found this code in init.qcom.rc
chown root system /sys/devices/system/cpu/mfreq
chmod 220 /sys/devices/system/cpu/mfreq
chown root system /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
chmod 664 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
start mpdecision
service hostapd /system/bin/hostapd -dddd /data/hostapd/hostapd.conf
class late_start
user root
group root

Just delete this code and you'll have permission to control 2nd core.
Will it improve battery life in cm12?

Finally a fully working OC Kernel for CM12!
Been waiting for this for so long. Just installed it moments ago. FindYanot's kernel was working fine except that there was Camera and Flashlight FC issues. But no such issues in this one, so I am delighted. No other feature seems to be broken at the moment.
One question: Where to install Kernel Tuner 2015 from? Kernel Tuner 2014 was updated on Feb 28, 2015 according to Play Store, so is that gonna work as needed? (override mpdecision and set on boot)

Been waiting for this for so long. Just installed it moments ago. FindYanot's kernel was working fine except that there was Camera and Flashlight FC issues. But no such issues in this one, so I am delighted. No other feature seems to be broken at the moment.

THANKS FOR USE ! A-TEAM
there was a time when none was ready to build a lollipop build... now we have so many builds we get confused which 1 should we try
I'm waiting the 2.7.0 release...
Great bro
this rom is really good so far would like to see 2.7 or even what 2.8 would bring.
i have install this on a friends i9000 works good ,BUT this device stalls for no good reason (stayes in sleep or just hangs randomly) fixed this issue with raising base clock to 200 mhz (i suspect that its device related this one is quite battle scared - let the clash of clan continue)
great work keep the A+'s coming
I'll try asap bro
Many thanks
Flashed the 2.7.0 and it is really smooth and fast, and there are also some build prop mods added to increase performance which is really great. I even underclocked/undervolted to about 1000 and it freaking fast. The only thing i miss about omni is the custom header which make it really beautiful. Haven't actually checked the battery life but overall a really great ROM to flash. I dont actually know how effective build prop is but it would be nice to have some battery or performance enhancing build prop tweaks
Keep up the great work

Wait marshmallow delay in callui is totally fixed
Hey dracov76. Yesterday I installed your ROM in 2.6.1 version and it works smoothly, but there is warm phone syndrome on 1.4GHz (what's not the case in Omni from pure source - UC to 1.2 cooled it down). Anyways, now I'm going to install 2.7.0 (almost finished config on 2.6.1 and I see 2.7.0 ).
I've some concerns about 2.7.0's Messenger app:
- Did you name this app Mms in 'priv-app' folder? It can cause conflicts for people packing Messenger in GApps package.
[If app is to stay, please change it's name from Mms to Messaging in 2.8.0].
- Also, it's archaic version 1.0.131 for X02 variant (no libs and for 160DPI I think), while out there is 1.6.043 variant X34 (libs for ARMv7 and 240DPI [ours]).
[There is newer version [take -34.phone]: http://gappsandroid.blogspot.com/2015/11/messenger-apk-download.html].
Ouch, and about our navigation bar (that one at bottom of the screen):
- We have hardware control, so we can disable it.
- If we want it, then we also want to disable hardware navigation bar.
It's 'hw vs sw' nav war
Until 2.8!
Hey, messenger application with my gapps works very well, because optimized for our phone, thank you for helping me.
Hi dracov76,
I cannot move apps to SD :crying:
Hi, I know
One user wrote to me on this subject, and he gave me a solution (I think): D

Hey, man... This ROM is so awesome, fast as hell, and sick how you manage to slim it to this small size xD the only detail is that doesn't have DSP Manager :c anyone knows where to find a flashable zip of DSP? Or at least the apk?

HumberOS already wrote these commits in Omni repo.
It will be great for all Captivate users to have this ROM.
Or at least if you can compile the kernel, then I can port the whole ROM.
Nice to see you make android 6.0 for the galaxy will test it out very soon Great job man

You get like 1.26 gb of storage space with this rom. The newest is really fast and smooth while i would also say it is probably close to as fast as lollipop also stable as well.
Update
Dracov one bug i have found i think it is present in omni rom 6 that if you add the external sd card after flashing marshmallow the system ui will crash infinitly.

Yes, we need a boot.img compiled with correct keylayout.
It is the only thing that differs for Captivate.
HumberOS already wrote the commits needed in Omni repo.
It would be great if you can compile the kernel for Captivate
Flashed and waited for boot for about 20-25 minutes. Unsuccessful. Reflashed Lollipop back, waiting for version 3.0 - maybe it will boot.

Ah, man! I've read it somewhere but didn't mention. Thanks for reminding, it booted in 3 minutes
Maybe it'll be good to mention it in faq also?
So I faced that new Marshmallow's SD behavior.
Inserted SD, went to Settings, got message like "This card is not supported, set it up". Two features - Portable storage and Internal storage.
When I choose Portable storage it goes to endless reboot
When I choose Internal storage it says "Missing output stream"
What am I doing wrong?
microSDHC card, SP, 10 class, 16GB, has some info on it, FAT32

It's a pity Can it be theoretically fixed?
But nevertheless it's very strange scheme. I almost cannot agree with it. Phew. Why they are forcing me to use my card in my phone either as storage for photos or as internal memory for this phone only? Nonsense.
