Problem in enter to the stock recovery - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I have one M8 with mm stock rom and stock recovery. I can't enter to the recovery. When I select recovery in bootloader mod go to red triangle on my phone screen then I press and hold volume up and then press power once nothing happens and after several seconds my phone be reboot and power on normally. Please help me.

Have you try holding volume down then press power once ? I remember that's how it is on Marshmallow but can't remember whether that's on GPE or Sense.

Yes mine worked on kitkat but now on mm volume up and power only lead to rebooting. If I flash stock recovery again is there good?

Is this phone fully stock, or was it modified at one point (unlocked bootloader, root, custom recovery, etc.) then returned to stock ROM and stock recovery?

Never mind, problem solved

I just flashed a rom and now my phone is stuck on the boot animation, I tried pulling battery and booting into recovery by holding the power and volume button, but the phone just starts up in odin mode. I flashed 4.2 yesterday and I wanted to go back to 4.1.2 and this is how I got into this mess.
can anyone help get into recovery?
thank you in advance.
press power and vol up and vol down... not just power and vol down (thats why you're going into ODIN mode)

I try holding the power button, and it's not working??? If I cant shut it down, how do I go back to recovery???

GPE M8 question about recovery mode

I had converted my AT&T M8 to a GPE edition a since June. Today as I was checking the MID and CID to see if there were any difference between an original GPE and mine. I tried getting to stock recovery just out of curiosity. When I went to bootloader mode I selected recovery and pushed the power button. I only got an android with a red triangle.
After a while I pressed the power button and the device just rebooted.
My question is. Is this normal and everything must be made using fastboot or is there something wrong? I can say that the device has the bootloader unlocked, unrooted and when I converted I installed the 4.4.3 RUU. Following this I received the 4.4.4 OTA without any problems. Thanks.
Red triangle is stock recovery. Hold vol up and press power for the recovery options menu. Or some folks say vol up and down (then press power button). I can't actually say for sure, since I've was on stock for less than a day, and have used stock recovery exactly zero times!
Just tried it. It's vol up and down then click power button once. Thanks.

Wifi turns on slow

hello,
last week i've bought an HTC One M8 with a software issue. i've managed to get it working with you guys but i've got a problem, not a big one but an annoying one.
The wifi turns on slow, the menu for the wifi after i press the on button is being shown after 20 seconds. is there something i can do? i'm stock on 5.0.1, have VODAP001 cid and i'm S-on.
thanks.
There's one thing that you may not do it yet.
Is your device still have stock recovery installed ?
Boot to hboot and select recovery
When you see the phone with red triangle, press & hold volume up and press power once.
Select factory reset/wipe data (use volume rocker to navigate and press power once to select)
This usually will fix all this kind of problem.
i understand.. should've done that when it was clean ) now it's full of app, photos, sms..

Make a backup to PC, then later can transfer back.

Power + vol up + vol down is a battery recalibration, which did the trick in this case.
Force a reboot is power+vol up. You may need to hold those buttons for a minute or so. Folks often don't realize this (don't hold the buttons long enough) and think it doesn't work.
