Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior

It is included the stock screen rotation upsidedown, with inversion of volume buttons, speaker and mic ??
Good job! But upset that there is no Radio app and if disable pop-up notifications, disappear animations of notification in the status bar (full empty status bar). - need to restart interface.
Does it works with dual sim (6039J)?

Hi there, first of all thanks for your great work Scutariu. You really saved my experience with this terminal. I believe it is a great device and that we are not so few after all, even if I struggled a bit before finding this thread and support I must admit, attentions go all to his bigger brother unfortunately. The stock rom was so sluggish, terrible and heavy demanding on battery... this AICP port brought new life to my 6039Y.
I've been on this rom for few weeks now and I can confirm it's pretty stable everywhere, until now I've encountered only few bugs so I registered to report them:
1- if you start a call from the dialer and reduce it with home button, then you go in the quick settings menu and long press on the running call banner, the notifications banner with the 3 icons will show [attached at this post] . Now if you press the crossed BELL icon (that I don't know exactly the purpose of it probably to deactivate all sounds from the app?) and you go back to dialer app and now press again home button or task button the phone will strangely reboot (fast reboot) everytime. This behaviour is not exclusive to the dialer, it happened also with WhatsApp calls banner whenever you press the damned bell icon, I suspect is something to do with the notifications menu. Yes I know I should just not click that, but hopefully this can be fixed and I would like to know if this happens to others or just to me.
2- I've have an italian SIM and operator, weirdly on quick settings menu the operator tile will only show a series of numbers (SIM ID) instead of the operator name. Why?
3- The stock email app always shows duplicated mails from my Gmail account. This happens every time I receive a new mail, the app will show me the same mail twice but the first one will uniquely contain the object and title of the main mail, while the second last one will be the full and correct mail. This won't happen on my other outlook account in there. It's a pity I really like the minimalistic style of the mail app and I wouldn't like to install a third party cancer substitute.

Dead development - the end
Hello xda friends I just wanted to let you all know that I spoke through PM with Scutariu the ROM creator, he told me he unfortunately lost all his files and so this project is to be considered ultimately dead. The ROM and the Kernel will not be updated anymore in the future. :crying:
Still this remains the best ROM for this device, no doubt. :good:
May the force be with us.

Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Everything working that you know of? NFC, mainly. I use it quite a bit and it seems many of the CM based sw packages share this common bug.

I can't believe you guys.. Everyone is *****ing about camera... But no one of you can't provide logcat....
Just install SysLog from Playstore and grab a logcat.. It will cost only 3 (three) taps... Less than effort to type that your camera doesn't work...

As far as I know, S-Pen functions are fine - you may need some 3rd party apps from Playstore...

Hello, thanks for this new ROM, very smooth and snappy. Unfortunately I'm experiencing the same Bluetooth issues that other AOSP based Roms have with audio cutting out after a few minutes. Other than that its pretty solid. Thanks for sharing your work.

CM knows that there is issues with Bluetooth. I don't know if they will ever make every Bluetooth device compatible. There is just too many. They are working on it though. Best advice is to send bug report in to CM so they can know and hopefully get it resolved.
Thanks for the ROM. First time trying AICP and I'm very impressed, coming from DU and it's been great so far. Battery life has been twice as good with the stock kernel and the sound is better as well. Thanks again.

You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

Found a couple of issues in the release version:
1. Ringtone and notification ringtones are not sticking in the messaging and phone apps.
2. Contacts list in the phone app glitches showing them in last first, first name first order rather than first name, last name which is how I confogured it. It goes back to my view when I open a contact and then close it.

1. Any themes installed? If yes, this is CM bug. Do not apply notif & ringtones while you are apllying theme..
2. Try with stock theme.

Had a couple of them installed actually. Uninstalled and deleted theme chooser data and cache. Still got the problem after a reboot and applied stock theme.
Sucks that the theme engine has that bug, though.
EDIT: So my notification ringtone is sticking now, but phone ringtone is still not sticking at all, despite the menus showing the ringtone I selected.

Never noticed before that, but that's why be'coz I'm using Oberon as ringtone.. And.. Since It's one of the default provided ringtones, mine is sticking everytime... I'm getting from other threads similar reports... Also; It was reported as CM Theme bug.. So probably It'll be fixed soon..

I can't change themes and the radio in my status bar reads 4G instead of LTE, not a big deal but how can I change it?

As far as I know.. Themes aren't variant dependant.. Did you installed any theme from PlayStore?
Reboot, clear cache from recovery, then reboot to get theme properly applied..
I'm coming from a 4.4.2 ROM, is there anything I need to do to flash this besides the norm? Any mid steps to get it ready for 5?

Tested moving my ringtones to the location of the stock ones, rebooted, and now they stick.
Just in case there are others with my problem.

I am able to change themes just fine on my M919 T-Mobile, however, I noticed that my status bar is also reading 4G instead of LTE. Anyone else? Keep up the great work I am LOVING this ROM it is the BEST Lollipop one I have tried! :good:

Nope.. same as (any) CM12 ROM. Try a better camera app, working..
Great ROM. And what is lockscreen toggle in quick setting use for? I guess its for sleep the phone (like press power button) but its not..
Yes! I've been using this for awhile waiting for a stable release. Although the nightlies have been stable enough for me for quite some time.

This ROM is amazing! I have tried a few different ROMS now and this one is smoother than anything. On top of that, it is far more stable than the latest CM11. Obviously the camera is no good. And here is an additional disappointment... the Google camera wont work on it either. But I am willing to live without the camera for the amazingness of this ROM. Awesome battery life too! BTW... I am using the latest PA GAPPS RC.
Running this one myself since the build completed this morning. Seems to be smooth so far, I did switch it to the BMS kernel though. Good work and now with OTA!

It did not work for me. Also, my GPS is not locking. Will the TW load and restore fix?

Does it hurt? Interesting.. Reported for the very first time...
Random reboot 2 or 3 times when long playing (hayday)..
Some time after restart the lock and unlock sound become silent..

This ROM is super awesome without any lags and a great battery backup!
I had been following the nightlies before I moved on to some slim based ROM's. I've been noticing a small bug from then.. I even posted regarding that in the previous AICP thread! It's regarding the IME selector icon in the navigation bar. Once the selector icon is disabled from settings, it doesn't show up as it should be. But the icon appears after a reboot even though the selector icon remains disabled.
I've attached screenshots to explain this more clearly. The 1st one is before reboot and the other screenshots are after reboot!
Although it's not a big issue, the selector icon showing up in the Nav bar seems to be a bit ugly! Sorry for being so picky!
Otherwise this ROM is great among the CM based ROM's!

Unable to flash the "aicp_titan_lp-10.0-NIGHTLY-20150907.zip" via TWRP (2.8.5.0).. Just shows a progress bar and recovery reboots.. Any solution?
EDIT:
Tried with TWRP 2.8.6.0, same thing happening.

I was using the RC version of AICP and in that the recent app cards were squares without any rounded corners. I want the recent app cards in the NIGHTLY version to look like that as well. WITHOUT THE ROUNDED CORNERS!
Is there any file that I can replace from the RC version to get the perfect squares in the NIGHTLY version?

Can anyone tell me which gapps package to use with this ROM,earlier I was using Delta gapps and some cm themes weren't installing properly. So I want a gapps package which won't cause that bug

Regarding the CM Themes, I think it's a limitation of AICP itself. In order to enable that promising, but in it's current form utterly useless "Custom Header Image" (Settings > AICP Extras > UI > Notification drawer) it prohibits some theme layers from working.
