Hey guys ,my m9 now running on viper marshmallow rom have some issues with dragon fi audio mod.. when i open Dolby atmos app , it says "Dolby atmos has stopped working " .... also I can't find anything in particular to the mod like any setting s or tune app.. any solution ?
I made a workaround for that. I activated Dolby Atmos Service (As.apk) through build.prop since I can't make the app work (AsUi.apk).
how to do that???
Add this to build.prop
# Dolby Atmos
dolby.ds.state=on
dolby.ds.profile.name=Music
dolby.ds.hpvirtualizer.state=on
dolby.ds.spkvirtualizer.state=on
dolby.ds.dialogenhancer.state=on
dolby.ds.volumeleveler.state=on
But for your sound choice, don't activate all of them.

It is because it only makes Dolby Atmos Service (AS.apk), not Atmos UI (AsUi.apk), to work.

Its only APK that install drivers for your phone , but always make backup before installing , and you can remove it like any another APK
it didn't work with sound enhancement , when i tried to uninstall it i'm stuck on bootloop

Me and My friend tried it and working perfectly :silly:

Try headphones will be louder , i tried it and more quality and loud on my phone
It is just an equalizer... Get a real music player and good headphones...
This sounds bad no matter what..

V4A gives you whatever you want, if you cant get what you want from V4A, it means you cant set it correctly. There are at least thousand kind of settings, only for bass. What you are telling is impossible.
V4A is one of the best things on whole android world...Incomparable with any other music mods, without discussion.

Ofc that's your opinion. For me V4A bass, even with good IRS, are usually not so good like MegaBassBeats. This mod is amazing with Headsets and in combination with V4A

i don't activate any IRS (installed tons of them) except irs there are many options.
As you wish mate, you like this one okay than, nothing to tell, personal tastes.
And i didn't mention that this mod is bad. Just i sad, there is nothing that you cant do with Viper (V4A)

Tried this on cm10.1- Yup sound mod improves the bass however using it with apollo/ dsp manager- it rendered the equalizer useless (well to my ears). Shifting from the different sound presets, there were no difference at all from flat to rock to deep etc..

Hi there bro. I flashed this MOD in light by somin.n and how do I know does this MOD was working on my phone or not ? I can't really find the differences between before and after.

Actually what is this MOD for ?
For clearer sound ?
I've tried reading into it but I can't find much on it. If anyone can explain I'll gladly listen. I've been trying for a few days. If not my viper 4 android setup will work for me. I just want the top speaker/or tweeter to be louder to assist the woofer to optimize sound.
Boomsound is closed source stuff, that's why no possibility to put on aosp. Use ainur audio and/or v4a or Dolby atmos. That might help

Thanks man. I didn't know boomsound had a whole software source. I just thought it was a system app that could be transfered. I'll try ainur sound.

Nope, it's not only software. It's hardcoded into flinger and **** like that and that's why we can't port it that easily.

Wow htc is picky asf.
To add, the closest you could get is to take the ds1-default.xml from a Sense ROM, install one of the Dolby apps on XDA and paste the ds1-default.xml settings from the 10 into the appropriate spot for the Dolby app. You'll at least have HTC's Dolby configs by doing this

Install viper4android FX v15 for magisk. Use Ragingbeast KA to tweak the left and right channels as for your liking. For this you have to install kernels like nameless which support sound controls. The audio experience will be truly remarkable.
