Problems flashing TWRP recovery - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I currently have a rooted Desire HD with Clockworkmod recovery. I'm trying to get TWRP as my recovery.
I've tried using fastboot to flash, but it gives me an error:
Code:
[email protected]:/mnt/Users/user/adb$ fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
sending 'recovery' (4732 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.796s]
writing 'recovery'...

Here's my phone's status:

Please help, I don't understand why it's not unlocked. I have magic CID, and flashing ROMs is no problem, only recovery won't flash for some reason.
EDIT:
So I've managed to get TWRP on it by upgrading my ROM to Android 4.04 and then installing the TWRPManager apk. I'm surprised it worked, gave me an error while flashing, but when rebooting into recovery everything seemed fine.
The problem still isn't solved though: I still cannot flash my recovery via USB with the fastboot executable. Please help?

[Q] Trouble Upgrading HBOOT from 0.43 to 1.39

EDIT: All fixed - I tried a couple of different versions of CWM and was able to flash a rom.
Hi,
I have been trying to update my hboot to 1.39 from 0.43. I have followed all of this tutorial here http://www.guidingtech.com/19930/install-jelly-bean-rom-htc-one-x-upgrade-hboot-unlock/ .
This involved Relocking the device and flashing the correct firmware for my CID (T-MOB005). My bootloader now says I have HBOOT 1.39. I tried to flash the RUU, RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_O2_UK_1.26.206.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251230_signed. I extracted the rom but when I flash it I get this output:
Code:
➜ htc sudo fastboot flash zip ~/rom.zip
sending 'zip' (618866 KB)...
OKAY [ 73.152s]
writing 'zip'...

(bootloader) checking model ID...
(bootloader) checking custom ID...
FAILED (remote: 42 custom id check fail)
finished. total time: 101.400s
When I try and boot I still get the CM10 loading image, so seems like it hasn't flash RUU at all.
Is anyone able to help me out at all with what I should/need to do?
Many thanks,
Ash

[Q] HTC Desire HD, MIUI, stuck on boot screen with logo, 7 vibrations

Hello, XDA.
My DHD was unlocked with HTC-Dev, cwm was installed, phone was flashed with a ROM MIUI 1 year ago and everything was fine. Yesterday my DHD was fully discharged, I put it on charge and it made 7 vibrations and stuck on load screen. Bam! I am in one of the lucky ppl with pre-brick situation

If I go to boot menu (volume down + power), I can see:
Code:
SD Checking...
Loading...[PD98DIAG.zip]
No image!
Loading...[PD98DIAG.nbh]
No image wrong image!
Loading...[PD98IMG.zip]
And it's detectable with USB, so I could perform that:

[Q] HBOOT Boot loop NO recovery, NO factory reset

HBOOT BOOT LOOP (DIDN'T SEE THE AUTO CORRECT SORRY
Hello.
Last night i was following instructions to go back to stock on a TMO RUU. I had relocked my bootloader via fast boot command. After i re locked the boot loader my phone won't boot and will only loop in the Hboot screen. Anything i choose via the power button only restarts the phone to end up back at the same screen.
I tried to unlock the boot loader again via HTCdev but received this error:

I have locked my bootloader and tried to flash a "signed" fw.. tried it from 2 sources. Also tried to flash a recovery. Nothing worked..
Edit: As an act of last hope I "reopened" my bootloader. That way I was able to get into twrp and flash a ROM after a wipe. Now I can use at least my Smartphone again. But of course it would be great to know what I did wrong..
