Download Android flasher.
Connect your phone to PC.
Run android flasher, select recovery and select the .img file you unzipped

Please Help
I just got a new HTC Desire (old one died) and the old rooting methods I used to use for it, refused to work.
This is for getting root and S-OFF with the Telstra branded HTC Desire (stock ROM) with HBOOT 0.93, PVT4 and block size of 40000.
None of the various Unrevoked 3.21 and AmonRa 2.0.1/CWM methods seemed to work for me, so after four hours of trying different combinations of custom recoveries with different versions of Unrevoked, this is what I found to work:
(note, this guide is for OS X)
- download Unrevoked 3.3.2 from http://unrevoked.com/recovery/
- download AmonRa 2.0.1 from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20471345/SUr...y-RA_2.0.1.img (the Desire specific one didn't work for me)
- download AlphaRev 1.8 from http://alpharev.nl/
- Boot your phone. Make sure that you have the 2GB microsd that came with it, I couldn't get this to work with 8GB and 16GB cards, though you can swap it out after root, no worries.
- Plug it into your Mac with the USB cable and choose "Charge only" and tick the box down the bottom
- Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and turn on USB debugging
- Remove the USB cable from the Mac
- Open the Unrevoked DMG and run the contents
- Go to "File" and untick "Disable security on phone"
- Go to "File" and choose "custom recovery" and browse to where you stored "recovery-RA_2.0.1.img" and choose it
- Plug the phone back into the Mac via USB and accept the dialogue warnings
- Wait for the tool to do its thing - can take 5-7 minutes, will reboot several times, the Unrevoked tool will tell you what is going on
- Root shall be achieved
- Reboot into recovery (power plus back) and do a nandroid backup (guides on this elsewhere)
- Reboot your phone
- Put a blank CD into your Mac and wait for the prompt to come up and ask you what you want to do with it
- Choose "Disc Utility" and hit OK
- Drag alpharev.iso to the left hand column
- Click burn in the top menu
- Hold down command+option+shift+delete and reboot your Mac
- Alternatively, just reboot and hold down C whilst booting it
- Choose the CD icon that comes up (it will say Windows, but don't worry)
- Wait for AlphaRev to do its thing, it might take a little while and will eventually ask you to plug your phone in, it will also ask if you want to flash the CWM AlphaRev recovery (I chose yes)
- Hmm, what next... I think that this is where you plug in your phone
- Follow the onscreen instructions to the letter and let it do its thing - takes about five minutes
- When your phone says that it is safe to reboot, don't do it, let the Linux distro do that for you
- Shortly after this, your phone will reboot and show the AlphaRev boot splash instead of the annoying Telstra one, then go to the second Telstra splash and boot up.
From here, you can reboot into recovery (either via downloading ROM Manager from the market or the power/back button combo) and flash your ROM of choice.
A couple of suggestions though - make sure that your battery is fully charged before doing this so that you don't bugger up the battery life and do a full wipe prior to flashing.
Hope that this helps some people out.
I think what you should do is.....
Flash the official RUU.. and try to unrevoked again.. But before flashing.. create a goldcard
http://theunlockr.com/2010/03/10/how-to-create-a-goldcard/
And flash the below RUU
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...9.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_151783_signed.exe
Check MD5 Hash
14d740a8ec68bd8cc830ff7c0905df72
Your problem is not during root.. it was during S-OFF.
If you are going through my suggested way.. once rooted with unrevoked.
Do the S-OFF with AlphaRev 1.8 .. the old one.. as new Alpharev in updating Hboot to6.93 which is not downgradable.
Hope you are clear please ask if anything you require.

Try follow these steps
1) Choose one ROM for the one X (ex. IceColdJellly) and download it to your PC
2) Extract boot.img from the zip you've donloaded and move it to the same folder of fastboot
3) In your phone go to fastboot usb (press power + vol down until you see fastboot usb)
4) Conect your phone to PC
5) Flash boot image
6) Choose recovery
7) Choose mount usb
8) Copy the ROM to your SD card
9) Unmount usb
10) Flash ROM
11) Reboot system
You should be good to go.
Attention there is no GAPPS flashed, for that you need to download latest GAPPS and copy them to Sd card and flash them.
Good luck

[Q] Tried to install MIUI kitkat (using CWM) it failed, now the phone is bricked

Long story short, I installed CWM and then downloaded one of the ROMS from this site.
It failed and now the phone is constantly stuck on the Huawei Logo.
I have put what i believe to be an official rom (B510.zip) on my sd card and booted into recovery using the power on and + volume.
I have then tried to install it but receive an error:
Status 7 failed to stat "/system/build.prop" No such file or directory
Installation aborted.
Please can anyone help?

Hello !
Sorry to say, you have a duty to be informed, before take the actions on your device
Now is to late, but next time, take time to documenting yourself to avoid any issues .
First, here is no working CWM for our P6 - you must use TWRP .
Second , if you have already a custom recovery installed on your device, you cannot flash a Stock Huawei Firmware !
On Generals or Q&A forum for P6 you will find all you need .
Best regards !

Hindsight is a great thing, but of course this does not fix my problem.
I have managed to connect to the phone via fastboot. I have downloaded what I believe to be a stock rom and tried to flash the boot.img: fastboot flash boot boot.img
FAILED (remote: partition does not exist)
I have also tried to flash system.img: fastboot flash system system.img
FAILED (remote: data too large)
Do you have a fix for this?
I have found a fix
Okay,
So I have actually found a fix for this problem.
If any user is facing the same problem as me; where they are just stuck on the huawei logo here is my fix:
Put the phone into fastboot mode: Power and Volume down (the phone has to be connected via USB)
Open fastboot: fastboot devices (this checks that the device is connected)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (I go this by downloading the stock rom from huawei's site and then extracted the recovery.img using the huawei update extractor).
The reason I had to reflash the recovery was because it was corrupt and I could not access it.
Finally, once this was complete, I then took out the sd card from the phone, made a folder within it called dloader and put in the UPDATE.APP from the extracted zip rom file (downloaded from huawei's site) )
I then turned the phone off and then loaded into recovery mode. This mode automatically then looks for the dloader folder, in which it located the UPDATE.APP.
The install then began, and after about 10 minutes the phone was no longer SOFT Bricked.

Did you use the sdcard 0P6BIMG.zip ruu method to fully convert.
Pull out your external sdcard and put it in another device so you can remove/relocate the "0P6BIMG.zip" file from sdcard.
Now boot to hboot and choose fastboot, now plug your phone in and it should state "fastboot usb" (run your commands again)

Bootloop after OTA Update

I have an ASUS ZenFone 2 (550 model), and I got a Push Notification about an OS Update, so I went ahead and installed it. After the phone installed the Update and rebooted, I got in a Bootloop. I can get into the Bootloader, the Stock Recovery, and the Temporary ClockworkMod Recovery mentioned here:
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/root-newbie-root-instructions-zenfone-2-t3114063
ADB also works, thankfully.
My phone is rooted, and I'd like to unlock my Bootloader, and install CyanogenMod, after I get out of this Bootloop.
Could someone please help?
EDIT:
Silly me, I forgot to mention the problems I actually had while trying t solve the bootloop.
So,
Problem #1: If I try to flash Firmware, the stock Recovery stops at 25% (It continues going until 50% in ADB), and then i get this error:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature vertification failed"
Problem #2: CWM cannot use my MicroSD. If I go to "Install zip from sd card", it doesn't show the actual SD card, jus three empty folders. I tried to mount "ext-sd" in the mounting options, but it fails to mount. (My MicroSD is 32GBs and formatted in Fat32, so it should work. :/ )
