You need to download and extract asus drivers. Sounds like your using Windows OS. You need to go into to device manager and find the device that is unknown and update the driver from the extracted folder. You phone must be attached and in recovery, press apply adb sideload. Then update the driver. If your os is not recognizing your device try another cable. LG has the best cables. If your using linux I wrote instructions on how to install drivers for the fastboot and adb sideload recovery

Since you don't have a ROM on the device to flash, you need to solve the drivers problem. Then you can transfer a rom with adb push command, or flash stock with the toolkit or manually.

You must get it to install. Where did you get it and how did you try? There are several options, see Galaxy Nexus 101 (a sticky thread here). Try them until you find one that's working.
use the wugfresh tool kit go in to bootloader and flash back to stock than go from there

In Windows, try installing the drivers again. The fact that they work in normal boot doesn't imply they'll work in recovery. If you are in TWRP recovery and adb doesn't work it's 99% drivers problem.
Try removing all drivers and reinstalling. Try installing from other sources, like "Universal Naked Drivers" or a toolkit. Once you get adb running pushing a rom will be easy.

You will need to use the ADB sideload feature of TWRP to upload a rom to install. Research ADB on how to use it as well as the sideload feature of TWRP. You will need to connect the tablet to your PC for this,.

NRT has and does everything you need:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2389107
As long as you can get the ADB drivers installed on your PC, you can click Advanced Utilities "Launch," then "Flash Zips" and select a rom zip on your desktop to flash to the tablet.
And as for adb drivers, here is a link to a post by Koush with a driver install that should work without any issues.

I've done what the OP has done, and if I recall, getting the device into download mode will allow Wug's Toolbox to pick it up from there. I reinstalled the OEM rom, rerooted and reinstalled TWRP. You can download the OEM rom from the toolbox.

[Q] How Install HTC One X - complicated Situation

Hi,
I have a new Problem.
My english is not the best so id dont give why I have this situation. I give you the situation itself.
- My HTC One X is totally formated. Just firmware and a recovery.
- My Computer is a fresh windows 7 installation
I cant get any ROM to my device because the computer dont install it. I installed latest sdk and HTC Drivers.
But the computer still doesnt install the phone as a HTC One X... just as unknown device, fastboot usb and Myhtc....
problem is sideload dont work because it says "no device found"
but i cant install the phone... because there is no Android on it....
drivers are there but windows dont install the device in a correct way to use sideload (adb) ...
Any ideas?
Please help.. I need my phone^^
regards
POIZ

Assume you already unlock bootloader.
I don't know much about windows, but it seem like driver issue. Try re-installing driver (avoid using from HTC sync manager).
If still didn't help.. You can live booting Ubuntu and go from there.
Flash custom recovery and desired rom.
Edit : also most recovery can mount sdcard, copy ARHD rom to sdcard. That should work.

Okay so here's my suggestion.. Download the laf.img from autoprimes codefire link in his lollipop thread, flash it using adb/fastboot (assuming fastboot/adb reads your device). This will put download mode back on your phone and then you can kdz flash. If the lollipop laf doesn't work you might have to search for the kk laf.

Ok so everytime it boots into fastboot? Even after a battery pull? Try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling. Also try a different cord or usb port.. I had this happen on my G2 last year. I think I may have had adb in the wrong folder

I'm pretty sure if you factory reset it will uncheck userdebug anyway so I don't believe that is the issue because I had done it when I effed up my G2. I wish I had all my files on hand. I would go through your pc and uninstall all lg drivers and restart it. You might even unistall adb and the drivers too. (just to get a clean start) Then download the official ones from Lg's site for the g3.. And look for the latest adb drivers and adb and install. Basically start fresh. You're gonna have to get the computer to recognize your phone after that it's easy peezy.
Oh! You might try changing directory on the command prompt?

From my understanding, you should search laf.IMG for G3 and put it in same folder as "fastboot.exe", and use fastboot boot laf.img

Hey, I'm having the same issue here :S Already tried with Linux and Windows, both same issue... Fastboot detects my device, but it got stuck in there... I'm using the latest version of stock firmware...
I never faced this issue before, for sure my phone is unlocked and I already flashed like hundreds of time in the past. Is there something new?
Thanks!
