What rom are you using? Did you try a factory reset or going back to stock rom?

i still not using any custom rom yet it's the same rom come with device from HTC
yes i tried factory reset from Cyanogen Recovery and the problem still there
please help guys i'm bagging you i won't try anything i don't know again
If you're not using a custom rom why did you flash a custom recovery and gapps?
Make a factory reset from settings and not from recovery. See if that helps.
Do you have a backup?

Hi all,
I recently rooted my wife's Wildfire S phone and installed the Marvellous CM10 ROM on it. It worked great but I had to go back to a Stock ROM due to the data bug in the ROM.
I created a sd-ext partition, and installed Link2SD (int2ext was again giving the data bug). I moved quite a few of apps to the SD card, including the Play Store. However, after some time I realized that the Play Store app is missing. Any ideas what could have been the problem?
Btw I also tried flashing the lite-googleapps zip which djoliver had linked in one of his posts. However that didn't work. My guess is that the zip is for JB whereas the stock ROM has Gingerbread, which could be leading to an incompatibility. Is there a flashable zip that I can use to bring back the Play Store?

Try flashing the stock rom again......and you simply shouldnt flash Gapps of any android version on the stock rom

Yup that's the last option. But what I was wondering was if there is any workaround without flashing the ROM again.

Do a factory reset. It may help.

If you don't want to risk stability due to a workaround....then i'd advise you to reflash or factory reset
Thanks guys. I tried a factory reset, but the Play Store app kept on crashing. So did a reflash and everything is working fine now

You can't do an actual stock factory reset without the stock recovery installed, because the stock recovery is what does the reset process and restores your device to factory defaults, so the easiest thing to do is just flash the stock ROM then do a factory reset.
The AT&T ROM is flashed as a tot file with one LG flashing tool, where the other stock ROMs are kdz and are flashed with a different tool. Personally, I find the second method via kdz to be much simpler, and I'm not on AT&T, so I prefer to not use their ROM anyway, since it's a bit more bloated and has Carrier IQ installed.
Take a look here, and you'll get it, if you follow the steps.

I dont' know how to tell what my bootloader is first off. I am thinking I need to upgrade my TWRP..which I assume i have to flash via Odin?? I am just so out of the loop I was hoping someone could give me a quick list of steps to get to one of the newer TW roms like the Ditto note 4? Please and thanks!

Upgrade to TWRP 2.8.5.0.
(flashable .zip from within your current recovery)
Then download the ditto rom, and the agni 4.3.9 kernel. .
(links for both are in the ditto thread)...
Follow the installation instructions and you are done. ..
Links are for your TWRP and ditto rom...

THanks. 2.8.5.0 seemed to flash just fine..so i'll go through it and report back.
Thanks for the help!
Okay..got it loaded with Agni. Thanks again for the help.
Having trouble signing into my google account so i can't get any apps. gapps process startup error on boot.
I could set up gmail though so weird.
Will have to play around with that.
Update: No go. Gapps errors on startup no matter how many reboots. Can't connect to google to set up account or access play store. Tried disabling and re-enabling google play services..no change. Will try to flash again see what happens.

Make sure that you wipe internal storage before flashing the rom...
And flashing the kernel in a separate TWRP session may be helpful as well. ..
the ditto thread is the best way to get help with the rom issues. .
They have a fix...guaranteed. ..g
Thanks..i will try wiping internal as well...I wasn't doing that in the first attempts.
I've been using Lollipop roms from the i9505 forums and yesterday I flashed MD v1.3 NK2 rom to return to KitKat. At first everything was working fine but then after a while when I would try to install an app from the Play Store I would get error 905 and another number. Both giving an error in installing the app. I've looked around and I've seen fixes saying to clear cache and data and uninstall updates or to remove Google account and re add or going into recovery and wiping cache and dalvik. I've done all of those things and no matter what I still get the same errors installing any app. It fully downloads and when it goes yup try to install it gives me the error. I switched back to a lollipop rom and I don't get the error anymore. Any idea what it could be that gives me the error? Could it just be the rom?
Did you flash the nk2 firmware before flashing the nk2 rom?

Hello everyone,
I was using my Nexus 7 with stock lollipop 5.1.1 (Build LMY48M) when suddenly started rebooting and got stuck in an inifity loop. read over the internet that it was "bricked" and flash the same stock rom again with no results. The I flashed the stock rom of KitKat 4.4.4 and I it seemed to worked, but camera, gallery and google play store "Unfortunately stopped working" so I can not use my Nexus. I have tried Cyanogen and paranoid rom with the the results, It get stuck with any lollipop ROM and the apps dont work for any ROM bely lollipop. I also tried different Gapps with no result. Plase, I will appreciate any help !!
Do you have a custom recovery like TWRP installed? If you do, backup data, then format the internal storage completely before flashing the rom anew. It should fix it.

Thank you for you answer !!
I just tried using advanced wipe, check everything and flashing a new rom, but no differente result. Then I used format data and again flashed the rom but again, no result. Camera, gallery and play store "Unfortunately stopped working"
:crying: :crying: :crying:
When you flashed the stock ROM, did you do it with fastboot or did you do it another way? If you didn't do it with fastboot I would suggest you try that. This guide tells you how: http://androidforums.com/threads/guide-how-to-flash-a-nexus-factory-image-manually.706533/, you should download the images from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images tho since the ones in the guide are outdated.
Thank you for your answer !
I have tried flashing using Nexus Root Toolkit, Flashboot, and flashing using TWRP. No different results.
