Trinity HTC Camera Problem

Maybe lots have come across the video playback problems with the HTC Trinity - the annoying green screen instead of the video playback.
I've recently realized that all the problems are caused by the HTC Camera. The video files are being played smoothly until you start the camera.
Upgrading the camera program didn't help. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?

i think that you must change your software rom ... it must be a codec problem ...
I've tested several roms (WM5 & WM6) - every time the problem is identical - I've never had a ROM with proper video playback. I thought that this is common issue until I realized that the camera software caused it.
I don't understand what do you mean by video files are being played smoothly until you start the camera...
why do you start your camera if you're playing your videos?
No ... I usually don't watch videos while taking pictures
I watch videos ... everything is cool ... then close player ... than start camera ... taking photos etc. ... I close the camera ... if I want to start watching videos again - I can't.
Does anyone have solution?
I had the same problem as you but i never managed to track down what i did differently each time for the green screen, all i knew was that if i watched a video, i knew i would have to restart because otherwise ALL videos would show the green screen. I have solved the problem now by just updating my Coreplayer/TCMP player.
Have you found another cure yet?

I use latest version of both ... this does not solve the problem (at least my problem )
Oh no, i thought that would of fixed it. I guess i havnt used mine enought to discover its still bad. Lets hope someone finds a cure
Thank you in advance
Unfortunately it turns out (this is just my opinion of course) that the cure will be new camera application or new video driver.
Who will do it ... HTC genius engineer stuff ... I don't think so ?
Just think of the problems with TyTn II users and guess when this will happen

[Q] Flickering background in video playback!

Hey!
I hope this question hasn't been already been posted and answered. Only recently I got my Galaxy Nexus and so far I'm seriously in love  On thing that bugs me though, is the crappy video playback, whether on YouTube or directly played from the internal storage. There's always a lot of background artifacts and noise where's only supposed to be a plain color, e.g. black (compared to playback on a PC or other devices). Could someone play this video (search on YT for Perfect Balance Pedal, first video from 0:14 on) on their Gnex and report if they face the same problem or have a solution? Thanks a lot!
I don't have any bug like that..
I'm using JB ROM and with stock ICS ROMs I didn't have that problem too..
Are you using stock ROM with stock kernel, or..?

Never experienced this issue. However, since it's occurring on both videos contained in memory as well as streaming services like YouTube, it's not likely an issue with the connection. The only thing I can come up with is something in your graphics drivers (hopefully) or GPU (hopefully not) is messed up. Have you tried downloading all of the stock software, checking md5sums and reflashing stock?
If a fresh and clean install of stock continues to have this issue, it may be an issue with the hardware and may need to be replaced.
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm currently on mike1986's Android Revolution 5.01 (JB) with Trinity Kernel, but I don't think the problem relates to that because I previously got this on stock 4.04 also. So it could just be a defunction of my screen?

An issue with the GPU blobs / GPU itself or possibly the CPU is more likely than the screen itself. If there was an issue with the screen you would likely see problems outside of video playback.

[HELP] Camera Logs When Taking Video

Guys kindly help me with this.
I've notice that taking video lags and it's affecting the video playback.
I don't know what is causing the problem. Is there anyone here has the same issue?
Plus help me to make video taking more smoother. Thanks!

Has anyone seen a fix for jerky kitkat video playback?

I just started using a gopro, and thought my issues were with its video recording, but it looks like everything that's 1080p in kitkat no longer plays back smoothly, but is a bit jerky, and it looks like there is a framerate issue.
(This is with the default player, or MX)
I don't see any mention of a fix for this anywhere, and I'd think it would be considered a major kitkat feature bug.

Camera Problems [False Alarm] - Delete Please

Hi guys,
I recently bought an LG G4, received it yesterday and got the update to Marshmallow pretty fast.
Today I was experimenting with the camera and I have to say, the picture quality is gorgeous, the videos however are a different story. The 1080p clips are fine but when I record in 4k the framerate for some reason is very low (around 20fps) wich causes terrible videos.
I don't see any option in the camera settings to change the framerate of the video.
Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance,
MoraisGT

Edit: I am really sorry guys, it turns out that there is nothing wrong with the camera. Whenever I open a 4k video recorded with the G4 on my pc the framerate is indeed horrible, but if I skip the video forward a bit it becomes normal. There isn't a problem with the device, just the software on my pc.
Can a moderator delete this thread?
Again I am really sorry

Glad to hear all is ok
Until a moderator will do that maybe you can just change the name of the topic to add something like [False Alarm, not a problem] or something similar Just my 2c
