i have a moto 360 2nd generation, all went good since yesterday when i upgraded the android wear app to the new version. I don't have the phone always with me, and it displayed me the cloud that the wear is disconnected from the phone. Now, after the upgrade, it doesn't show me if the phone is connected or disconnected from the phone if i go far away from the phone. The cloud doesn't appear, i have to shake the wear and then it displays. Same story if i go near the phone, the cloud then, doesn't disappear. It worked fine since yesterday. Is the upgrade the culprit? Have u the same problem as mine? Thanks and sorry for my bad english

This isn't the thread for the moto 360 2nd generation watch but on the 1st generation Moto 3G I don't have the issue you describe after the latest update to the Android Wear app. I still shows when I am disconnected from my phone.

So I noticed earlier today that the gapps were crashing on my moto 360... I couldn't use it. I did a reset of it and it repaired to my phone, which it was not pairing to earlier. Now... nothing is crashing but it's not pairing with my phone. Just says "Connecting..." Then says "Disconnected." Is my watch dead? I already reset it once and it's not working. Watch is very very hot and the battery is draining very quickly also. Dropped like 25% in ten minutes.
Everything on the watch is stock. No recovery or custom ROMs or anything.
I also have a Nexus 6 and man is my moto 360 been nothing but a headache this whole time. Im at the point where i simply hate the damn thing and would take $100 if someone wanted it. Android Wear has been nothing but a huge disappointment.
This issue stopped after I reinstalled the Wear app on my phone. Updated borked it.
I have a BQ Aquaris runing Android 4.4.2. I had been able to connect wiht my brand new Sony SW3 but, then after a few hours of use, the connection is lost and the smarwatch dissapears from the Android Wear. It is as if the watch was never connected before. I had reinstalled the whole thing, restarted the phone and the watch and then it goes back ok for some time, untill then, withou any apparent reason the watch gest disconnected, and also it dissapears. Please note this is a regular disconnection, like when you walk away without your phone. It is like the SW was never connected to phone,
I am in the verge of throwing the whole thing away!.
Any help would be much appreciatted?

Hi, I'm having trouble connecting my watch to my phone. It's previously worked fine, but it disconnected sometime last week and wouldn't connect again through the Android Wear app.
I've unpaired the watch from the phone, and removed the watch from Android Wear and then uninstalled Android Wear. I've reset my watch at least twice in a row and tried to set it up again.
I always get as far as Android Wear saying Pairing.... and then the watch saying enter this code 'Smartwatch 3' it used to show numbers and letters as the code, but it's always Smartwatch 3 now.
Even if I do a Bluetooth scan from my phone, my watch doesn't show up. I'm beginning to think it's a bluetooth issue on my watch. I'm running the latest update from Sony, and the latest version of Android Wear from the Play Store.
Has anyone else seen this before or can possibly help?
Thanks!
Even with Sony Support's help, they suggested I use the Xperia companion app, but this claimed to have reset my watch but hadn't done anything.
My watch turns on, but goes straight into the Setup process and never shows up in the Android Wear app on my phone.
Last night I tried to sideload LCA43 to my watch using ADB but even that wasn't possible from my windows 10 laptop! I installed ADB drivers, usb drivers and put my watch into both Fastboot and Recovery mode and selected the Update from ADB option and ADB still couldn't see my connected watch.
My watch is now a paperweight which I can't work out a way to get working again. Can anyone help? Is there another reset method I can do other than Factory Wipe in the watch Recovery menu?
Wich phone ? and Android version ?
It's a HTC one m9 and 6.0.1
After pairing one time the BT search do not found again a wear watch, we must forget and reset watch before.
Otherwise I have also issue with my xPeria Z5C (Android 6.0) and my Sony SW2 (not wear) after a while the pairing between phone and watch is lost and I must "forget" the watch before pairing again seem some bug in BT pairing in Android 6 (and Sony BT watch ?) ?
My sw3 has worked for 6 months. I was having some connectivity issues with two of my apps so decided to do a factory reset and reconnect to force the apps to update. Done this at least twice successfully. But this time I go through the process...
-uninstall AW,
-reset my watch,
-reinstall AW,
-start the watch,
-open AW,
But the pairing code doesn't show on in AW...but it shows on the watch. I can connect in the phone bluetooth menu and get the "paired notification'' then the watch goes to the updating screen followed by 'syncing'. Usually this where I get the 'updating apps 3 of 23' but it just stays on syncing. At the end watch is not connected to my phone no apps are loaded. The phone is never visible in AW. Now if I go in and repair the devices it looks like they are connected but I can't.
I think something is wrong with AW.
update
I think its actually something in my phone... my wife's Samsung Note connects in AW. Why can't my Nexus 6 see the watch.
If you haven't done so already, try restarting the phone immediately after uninstalling Android Wear app on your phone. If that doesn't fix it, you may have to factory reset your phone.
working

What have you do to work again? My phone have the same problem...
Thanks.
I have to this every couple months when my phone won't connect with my phone. Some sort of bluetooth issue.
- factory reset watch
- go into android wear and remove the watch
- forget the watch in bluetooth settings
- uninstall android wear
- restart the phone
- install android wear
- restart the phone
- use wear to connect to the phone
Sometimes I have to do this twice and it might take 45 mins to update my apps.
Perfect for me.
The only issue remaining is the unexpected unlinking with the phone, but it isnĀ“t new.
Phone Bq Aquaris E6 4.4.2, watch Sony SWR50 6.0.1.
I purchased a sont smartwatch 3 about a month ago and when I first got it and charged it up, it paired right away to my phone. Over the course of a few weeks I would notice there would be times when it would not connect to my phone. Turning bluetooth off and back on would fix this. I got tired of doing that so I unpaired the watch and deleted all android wear from my phone to start fresh. The watch would not connect. I have now been trying for a few weeks to get it working again. I'll list everything I have tried below ( not in order but as I think of them).Hoping for a new idea on this I haven't found:
- clear play services and play services framework cache
- in adb shell :adb shell am start -a android.bluetooth.adapter.action.REQUEST_ENABLE
- factory reset on watch
- forget all bluetooth devices on phone
- rooted watch and tried 6.0.1 rom
- hold power button till watch restarts 3 times
- locked and unlocked bootloader
- xperia connect software repair
Is there a bluetooth testing method anyone is aware of or a way to check my bluetooth integrity ? Maybe flash a bluetooth module ?
wich phone ? I have BT issue with my xperia Z5C : SW2, SW3, Zenwatch2....
non rooted nexus 5
It's working ! This makes no sense how though. I let the watch sit for days after my last attempt to pair it. Used Sony companion to return it to stock. Today I decided to try again. It was dead and had been for a week or so. I connected it to my computer via usb and I turned it on after letting it charge for about 5 mins. On my laptop I decided to check what bluetooth devices my computer could see. My smartwacth shows up in this list. I wish there was a camera on my face, it would've been priceless. I grab my phone and reinstall android wear. It finally shows in the app. I have been trying to fix this for weeks now and it just randomly works now. Maybe this may give something new steps to try for those that run into this issue.

I dont think the fault lies with the watch and phone but more so with Google play services as this is needed to run and connect android wear as far as I know. Try uninstalling play services and reinstalling on the phone. If that doesnt help then try resetting the watch in pc companion. If this doesbt help then im unsure but I could only blame gplay services as all my android wear issues have been with this such as apps like watchmaker deleting itself off the watch after rebooting my phone (xperia Z2 rooted custom rom). I even tried factory resetting both but the issue still persisted so I gave up with it and decided to manually resync apps after every reboot.
You can try resetting your devices but I cant garentee this will solve your issues.

RJASSI21 Many thanks! i clear the google play services data and now all is working fine.
Thanks!
I have this problem occasionally with my LG G4. It works fine then all of a sudden it won't connect to the phone. Shows up in Bluetooth devices, but not in Android wear. Only way I find to sort the problem out is to unpair the watch from the phone which then activates a factory reset. Once done all is good again........well for a few weeks or so.
I let the clock DIE (battery) and then work for 2 weeks, now the same problem.
