external battery charger

hey..
is there anything how i can use batteries to charge my htc wizard?
like havin 4 AA batteries in something and then a usb cable to charge it?

just get a 9v battery, put in a zeiner diode and a 100 resistor Voila! 5.1v do some search 9v to usb on google

I have a thing attached to my key ring that takes a 9v PP3 on one side and has a set of adaptors for charging mobile phones of all types, one of them is the mini USB for my Trinity.

think about a 2nd battery charger
Count me in as well!
Bearing in mind the wonderful HTC/WM? feature of not being able to recharge fully discharged batteries in the phone, could you consider a place to charge a 2nd battery outside of the phone?

Buy a universal extended battery. I charge almost all my devices with this one.

[Q] iPad/SGT compatible charger?

I had bought the Lifetrons All-in-One Universal Adaptor with 2 USB Charging Ports and it was powerful enough to charge an iPad + an iPhone concurrently charging times.

Only thing is that it does not charge my SGT 10.1v...
Had tried a charger from dealextreme.com, but charge time was very slow for my SGT (didn't try my iPad yet), almost twice of what the SGT original charger gives. My unit feels very hot too, so stopped using that.

where to buy TRUE 2A dual port USB wall charger (UK plug)?

as above - i've had a hard time trying to find a wall charger that can pump out 2 x 2A simultaneously to 2 tablets at the same time. most of them can only at most do 1 x 2A, and 1 x 0.5A for the other port.
please post here if there's any reliable charger, preferably with UK plug version and free international shipping.

have u tested it before with a multimeter before? i'm doubtful it can supply so many consistent amps..

any other suggestions please? preferably with a trusted brand, so that it doesn't explode in my face..lol.

My wife bought a Qi wireless charger for my Moto 360.It is the same that came with the watch EXCEPT it does not come with the power plug that fits an electrical outlet it comes only with the charger cord that has a usb end. Does it charge Moto360 correctly? I bought similar and when it reaches +/- 90% Moto360 overheat and randomly charge/discharge.

Yes. It can charger our moto 360 correctly.

Didn't work very well for me. Doesn't charge all the way to 100% (same issue some others have with the cheaper 3rd party chargers)
I ended up getting the Itian brand charger listed on Amazon. (currently $12)

Hey,
I had a play with my SlimPort adaptor today, works a treat with the G4. Nice refresh rate too. I have the Kanex one. You can get it from amazon, ebay and from Kanex themselves at KanexLive.com.
Nice slim form factor too. Works without external power but also has a micro USB port for charging as well. My only unknown is whether it will support USB OTG as well using that port - I don't think Slimport supports that so probably a no, but I'll have a play later and let you know.

UPDATE: USB OTG doesn't work, if you wanna use it as a workstation you'll need a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse
