Lg g3 as death as a stone - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My brother flashed android marsmallow via the kdz methot, and then followed this threat to root and install twrp,http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/root-twrp-marshmallow-d855-30b-t3286268, but i dont know what he did, since he told me he skipped the autorec step and did that particular step as last, after rooting.
Now the phone is death, no charge indicator, no recovery, no download mode.
In device manager it shows as qhusb_bulk.
I followed the same guide with my own g3, and i had no problems, so i think my brother messed up somewhere in those steps with his phone.
Can any body help me to revive his phone?
I would be glad, and happy to donate if any solution.

Warning to all nitro users

There is a guide out there. A horribly wrong guide. A guide that will permanently hard brick your P930 with NO CHANCE of ever getting it back. EVER. This guide is located at http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-nitro-hd-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-48447/ and you MUST AVOID IT. This guide is also the first one that shows up when you search "Install Clockworkmod Recovery on LG Nitro HD". A word of warning to fellow users, DON'T FOLLOW IT.
Source: I followed it and screwed up my phone; sent it off to LG and they're probably gonna ship it back in a couple of days . So yeah.
All of the comments for the guide also complain about how it destroyed people's phones, so let's all contact them and get them to take it down.

@androidauth
That guide is the wrong way to do the old method....which is the problem...

Not that I'm encourage anyone to follow the manual CWM recovery update instructions posted on Android Authority, but just for sharing and information purposes the recovery partition on the LG Nitro HD is located on mmcblk0p13, not on mmcblk0p6. Also, for those who installed the ICS leak, CMW recovery does not work.
Here's a link to a posting from repherb listing the valid partitions used on the LG Nitro HD for each of the file image types.

New info
Turns out they have posted a second guide with the correct information (mm....0p13), but it hasn't even reached the front page of google search, so right now the aforementioned site is probably the most dangerous website for P930 users wanting to install CWM.
This is why they need to delete their old article, or, holy-****-here's-a-thought, they could simply redirect from the ****ed up guide URL to the new, correct one.

Now that this guide is deleted, many people will go to the other links under there, which also do the mm0p6 method.

My G3 is the 16gb D855 V20h-EUR-XX version, I would really like to root it but have been reading on these forums that I'd have to downgrade to KitKat first, I've never rooted a phone before let alone downgraded one either, is their any in depth guide's or videos I could follow because I'm not really sure what to do, I don't know how to flash and I don't know what TWRP is , any help would be much appreciated please.

First, root then discuss TWRP and flashing.
How to downgrade:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
Same process (Including install) for G3:

Make sure you get the proper files for your specific phone. Don't try to use a file that wasn't made for your phone model or build number.

Phone is not hard bricked otherwise it would not turn on at all, sounds like soft-brick and needs factory resetting.
Go to here: http://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g4-how-to-boot-into-download-mode/ and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848 to get everything you require.
It will wipe your phone as factory, so hopefully you have things backed up before this occurred

LG G2 America Sprint Version not working properly in India

My brother gifted me an old phone which he was using in America. The LG G2. I think it had some sprint contract initially. When I got the phone I was unable to use my IDEA sim on it. So I visited a local mechanic. He said that it will have to be unlocked. I paid the charges and he gave me phone after a few days. It wasn't working well from that day. I thought maybe its hardware is not so good. And then, one day it stopped saving call logs and giving and error like unfortunately google process has been stopped every time I called someone. Then I visited some other mechanic who previously worked in Samsung Service Centre. He said the device is not unlocked properly. And he has to unlock the device again. For that he started to download some LS980ZVE file from the internet. I peeked into his computer. When I saw build version in my mobile it was previously running LS980ZVE. I didn't interrupted. And paid the charges in advance. Today he called me to visit him. He said that he has installed the new software file he downloaded but when I tried it wasn't accepting my SIM. I tried another SIM but the result was same. He scratching his head said that maybe the device has gone to locked state again. He said me to leave the mobile with him as he will give it to me unlocked tomorrow. But now I am keen that if I can do the unlocking at home. I had a friend who is an engineer. He always talked about unlocking, rooting, jail-breaking etc. He always said that it was a easy job. I couldn't get in contact with him. Then I started searching on google and finally saw XDA DEVELOPERS. I thought of finding a solution here. But couldn't understand a thing. I hope if you people can help me about it.
If you could give me a permanent solution to the problem. Also if I could get latest android version working on it.
Even if there is no permanent solution I am keen to know more about this unlocking thing. How it works and what it requires.
Thanks in advance.
The unlock guide is in the General section. Read and read. If you already have TWRP recovery, sounded likely. The simplest way is to completely wipe your phone and flash a stock ROM of your choice and go from there.

I don't have a TWRP recovery. Yesterday I tried to google about ROMs and everything else. I found that there are custom ROM s like Cyanogenmod that can be installed. I downloaded the CM 12. Copied it into Internal memory because it doesn't supports a sd card. Pressed the volume down and power button. Booted into recovery. But couldn't found the ZIP file there. I searched for TWRP at twrp.me but couldn't find the file for LG LS980. My phone is already rooted by Kingo Root. It would be very helpful if you could tell me step by step method to completely wipe my phone and install CM 12 ROM.
Thanks

Need Help : Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML Without OS

Hi Guys.
I'm new here, and in the "root/flash" world too. I'm good enough with computer to follow instructions, so i shouldn't be pain.
Here is my problem. I bought a new cellphone on a usually safe website. But when it has arrived, it was defective. I don't know if it's bricked, or is it got damaged at the customs but the fact is, there is no OS (or i can't access it) on my phone. It always loop on the bootloader. I've read some things on this forum, but i'm not sure what to do, since i'm not sure what the problem is, and if there is something to do.
I've made a video with my other ****ty cellphone. It probably explains better than me what is the problem. youtu.be/W4pAZQJNtj0
So, now, first of all, can i do something to get it works? If so, what can i do?
So, thanks to anyone who will try to help me.
And, yes, i got a refund by the website, but, i'd like make it works anyway.
Try following this guide, it will reinstall stock Marshmallow:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/guide-flash-stock-rom-asus-zenfone-2-t3588276/
Use method 2, since you don't know if the bootloader is unlocked or not.
Some links are dead, so, drivers are here: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE500CL/ASUS_Android_USB_drivers_for_Windows_20150212.zip and Asus Flash Tool is there: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9rp3AJHKJXjNmRuRUJMWmtOT3c/view
