These are the steps I did & forgot to place rom.zip to sdcard & now I am stuck at the HTC Logo.
1. Unlocked bootloader.
2. Installed CWM Recovery.img
3. Installed Super Swipe from Android HD Rom 6.0 ICS
4. Went into fastboot & done Swipe directly. It erased all the data & now only stuck at HTC Logo.
I tried even
1. Reboot phone and erase cache (Not worked).
2. Install cwm & then custom rom (Not worked).
3. Relock bootloader & install stock rom (Not worked).
4. Installed latest RUU directly (Not worked as my phone has 1.28.720.10)
5. ADB shell mount /sdcard & adb push rom.zip /sdcard (Not worked).
6. Even factory Reset didn't work.
Developers plzz guide needed.....

i'm having the same problem, tried everything... i just updated my rom OTA 1.29.707..... then try to install some roms, then now i'm stock at htc logo...
the last thing i remember is i did a superswipe, then the rest is history...
i can't downgrade either... i guess the solution is to wait for ruu of hTC_Asia_WWE_1.29.707.10 so i can install ruu that will not make error 140...
is there any solution?? please help...
Install the latest CWM recovery with USB storage auto-mounted. Put in any custom rom that you like and install it. Don't forget to flash the boot.img that comes with the custom rom.
To be back on stock, yes you need to wait for the RUU.
urgent help
when i lost the network signal,read from forums that i need to make unlock and as you know install the new custom rom's so i did many times, but still no phone signal,i am living in moscow but phone intended from Poland. Then when i was trying the other roms in the recovery mode wiped away sdcard and system etc.now phone just stuck HTC logo.
Is there a solution or i need to buy a new phone?

i used to use cyanogen mod 10 but wanted a official rom from sam mobile so i flashed via odin and cocked up my note 2 n7100
now i can get into recovery and download mode and i have flashed the same cm10 via tw recovery and it hangs on boot animation
i then wiped and flashed via recovery SSHD rom and it also hangs at boot animation so what do you guys think is wrong?
i need this fixed it cost way too much to just thow in the junk draw espcially since i cant work anymore.

When you change your rom you need to wipe data from recovery.

Always flash custom rom through custom recoverys only (not from stock rom). Flash TWRP or CWR or Philz recovery first and then flash custom rom.
After flashing custom rom or stock rom, first wipe data and cache (as above said) before rebooting.

i have flashed a custom rom through a custom recovery, i've been flashing custom roms since the htc himalaya and never had a booting problem.
i think i snuffed the bootloader can anyone give a me a stock nandroid?
OR
guide me as how to get past the 2nd boot logo, i also flashed a core 2 kernel and that's when i think the damage was done, if it will fix this, where can i get the stock kernel?
[EDIT] atm it has SSHD ROM and The SSHD Kernel i get the samsung n7100 logo and then the boot animation but then it gets stuck.

get into recovery flash this file http://d-h.st/fWr u will loose evrything from internal memory, now after it reboot to recovery just flash your rom but dont reboot after installation.
first click fix permission
then wipe cache and dalvik atleast twice
then reboot!
it should load the rom fine, and i would suggest to stay with philz recovery and create a backup of efs and rom both the terminal way and through recovery too

once i flashed it i gete:error opening 'data/dontpanic'

I hope u are rooted and have a custom recovery installed if yes then its a script to clean wipe the rom to start a fresh install better known as dirty flash so when u flash the zip it will wipe ur cache, dalvik, system on recover and will automatically reboot to recovery then u can proceed wth any custom rom u want the latest philz recovery is recommended.i am using my phn yo reply and already 4am morning here so be sure what you are doing , give complete info of ur phn status as wht u hv done till now if u have all as mentioned abv then u r good to go and flash, but in ur case the flash of the file was not successful so u can manually wipe all mentined above and procced as instructed.

hey help plz i was running a stock android 4.1.2 on my n7100 rooted with CWM and note2core kernel and everything was smooth when i was trying to flash phoenix rom it doesnt boot just enters recovery but i restored my nandroid backup a user here on xda told me that i should flash mj5 bootloader and twrp i did that but still the same problem but my internal sd was formatted for now reason and lost my backup when i downloaded stock rom to flash in odin i always get an error i cant flash it a user told me to download mdg1 firmware but now hotfile is down i cant download from samfirmware i took my phone to professional repair shop which is a friend of mine he said that my boot is dead it may be fixable or it may be not so plzzz any suggestions ???

I flashed stock ROM and is working fine.
If I flash any custom ROM , cant mount /data error comes and phone is stuck in boot loop.
Also, after going back to stock ROM, I found that I am not able to transfer apps to SD card which I used to do when I bought the phone.
This problem happened after flashing ROMs.

Hi there! I've found this device from many years ago and from what I can remember I tried to root and install a new rom, but something happened. Now, when I want to switch it on always appear this screen:

Now I can go to fastboot mode, but it won't reboot normally, there is always that screen..

I've had this too, simply install cwm via odin (twrp should work too but I've done this with cwm and succeeded so I recommend using that for now), then put a rom on your sd card and install it, or you can (after installing cwm) flash the stock firmware, simply look for your model of s4 mini on google for stock firmware and you should find it, update me with what you get.
