I think they are only a legend...

yep same here. i updated to MM EMUI 4.0 only to find that my gorgeous live wallpapers from EMUI 3.1 are non existent
i have been able to find some themes here in hwt format, and apply the icons. however the backgrounds dont show. these themes include livewallpaper xml files
also, i think this IS do-able as a guy on youtube seems to have some of the themes from EMUI 3.1 working on EMUI 4
please try getting these live wallpapers back:

Okay so, if HTC made it easy, I would have the answer for this or at least a way of asking them about it. Maybe someone reading this can help.
My M8 is still pretty boss in the line of HTC flagship phones, but I am not thrilled with most of the user-created themes that currently exist for download. I just spent a few hours designing a kick-ass theme using their new web browser-based Theme Maker Pro (Google it, because I can't post the link). I am so proud of it, that I published it for review to share with others on the Themes app.
Unfortunately, when I downloaded the theme from the Themes app onto my phone, there are missing elements. My main home wallpaper won't show, nor does the custom All Apps button. Now here's the kicker. The Great 'Maker' allowed me to upload a super high-res photo to divide into three home screen panels, which no theme currently has on my phone. Likewise, no theme currently has a custom All Apps button either. Not to mention, I've never even heard of wallpaper "stickers" which the Maker required me to create as well.
So, my conclusion is that the whole new Themes Maker is geared towards the new line-up of phones- the M9/10. But what's they got that I don't got?! I know my M8 is updated to the latest *Sense 7* and Lollipop. So, why won't these elements appear? They should say this on the themes website as well.
Can anyone help me out with this? My obsession isn't healthy I know, but that theme took a long ass time to make!

I made a mistake in posting this. I have sense 7. There's nothing to upgrade it past in settings. Is there a sense 8 now for M8?

Ah. Well, its not worth it for me to do anything unofficial since I have Verizon. Sure hope they roll out 8 soon, although Lollipop took forever to come to the M8.

Dear all!
I'm new user in xda-developers forum and it helped me a lot rooting my Galaxy A7 A700FD 2015 that I received from my mother's old mobile phone since my galaxy note2 died. Ayway, I rooted it because I waned to install xposed framework and install some modules to modify the whole device's layout.
What i was expecting I could change especially the blue/white layout greens buttons and other colors that hurts a lot my eyes in notification bar and around menus that is also boring. I searched for some apk or modules to change out theme as I wanted but no success.. so i tried to use launchers that is pretty cool but still limited( not going to buy a PRO version).
Sorry if i made another thread about this but im kinda bored with the system =/ and i looked hard into xda forum about what i want and i didnt see anything related with that.
Can someone help me with some apk or module to peform my changes?
Thanks all,
Regards

Xposed is not the best for customizing the design. You could try Substratum theme engine but I don't know if it works with MM and I doubt it will work correctly with any Samsung os version since Samsung does heavy modifications to the system. Does MM for the A5 2015 not include themes? Or is it still on LP?

My galaxy A7 2015 has only 4 themes when it is upgraded to mm & when I download new themes from the Xda, it will not shown in my themes section.
Hey guys, I'm new to doing anything past rooting a phone.
I've jailbroken loads of iPhones before iOS 9 but have been a user of the OnePlus 5 since it came out. Had a quick question. Is it possible to install Galaxy's full UI on my OnePlus?
Are there any Touchwiz ROMs?
I've only rooted two android phones so I'm not experienced in any software mods on the android side.
Can anyone help out?
Thanks
Ozzy

There's lots of choices for Roms here. The most popular are OOS based Roms but there's also some great AOSP Roms.
A lot of people prefer the stock experience on OP5T.
Afaik TouchWiz Roms don't exist outside of the Samsung forums. It's got a really bad reputation. I've used Samsung phones in the past and without a doubt the worst part was TouchWiz.
If you're just starting out, I'd unlock the bootloader, install TWRP, root and then test out different Roms to see what you like.
Sounds great mate, thanks a lot for your reply!
hi all,
Can install only samsung theme icone and wallpaper maybe ?

There can be a way though
Install lineage OS and then install a Touchwiz substratum theme
Did Android Messages revert back to the original one (vs. the updated material design 2) that came out the other day via the apks? Just curious if this happened to others, too.
Yes, others have reported the same issue.... but don't know why.
They came out with the theme but forgot to add the ability to name group chats. When Pixel 3 is released so will the new version of AM.

Source?
I've been trying all kinds of Tricks to get the dark theme to come back... I only had the dark theme for 24 hours... It looked great and now I'm sad that it's gone.
Installed and looks great on my S9 (running pie alpha, should be fine on 8.0)
Here's the original article with the install instructions
https://www.xda-developers.com/download-google-pixel-3-live-wallpapers-port/
There's some wallpapers that move to the music playing on your phone, they work. There's also some that require location permission (similar to the pixel 2 wallpapers port).
Lots of new walls and live wallpapers ??
For some reason it won't let me upload screenshots but there's some in the original article.
Upon further testing there's lots of wallpapers that don't work.
This version has been ported to work on older versions so I'm going to get my hands on the original and see if it works on the pie alpha.
It's just been updated
