My mobile is M8 UL CA to M8 UL? - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I buyed a refurbished phone from a chinese shop.
My mobile do not works in GSM and UMTS, works only in LTE.
The model indicated on the body is NM80P6B100 (EMEA) but in bootloader is indicated M8 UL CA, what is wrong?
Can I "convert" the mobile with right RUU?

You should start a new thread of your own. When you do, explain your issue in detail and provide the results of fastboot getvar all minus your IMEI, serial #, and MEID if you have one (only applies to CDMA devices)

Your situation is not even remotely similar, from what you posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68482509&postcount=12
You are s-on, and on the AT&T firmware, which is a very different situation from the OP of this thread.
Additionally, I'm already helping you in the thread, so posting to other threads (without any sufficient details) does nothing but confuse those trying to help you.

Really sorry.
Sorry, just got a little panicky! I apologize for causing any confusion.

They all have one for a CId of O2__ 102 but as mentioned mine is O2 __ 001
Would it work?
Thanks

I found these RUUs here http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/general/official-ruu1-55-605-2-t2883845 ,
but it's said that they are for the M8_VZW, and my device is M8_WLV. I don't if they're the same, and I don't know if I can use these RUUs for my device without causing issues with the connection. I'm worried about the GSM/CDMA differences. I use GSM btw.
Please help I really need it to fix my phone.

You have the Verizon Model ID (MID) and product name, those are the correct RUUs.

If you have sent it to HTC Service and they have not sorted this issue, then I'm afraid there's not much we can do.
Why did they send it back with Audio issue?

You could test with a few firmware.zips, but they are not gonna help if this is a hardware issue.
That is why HTC service is best.
Good luck friend....I am not experienced enough to know how to help you now XD Sorry.

1. What was wrong with the device then?
2. Change your thread title to [SOLVED] so that other people with the same issue can find your post and use your solution

Actually I plan to upgrade firmware that I downloaded, and the only way to update is S-OFF.
since all the normal upgrade are not working. (bad signature, error 99 on fastboot etc...)
Try firewater but did not work anymore, then just try for Sunshine - S-Off.
After finish all S-Off by , ...at the first reboot sound come out and all function are there, (call, video, recording etc)
Thank you XDA forum
Guys I'm having the same issue. I noticed it after I mistakenly flashed a nougat rom by mistake. I later went back to the marshmallow rom I was looking for but the issue is still there. I can't play audio with my htc m8. Or record videos with the camera. Any help would be appreciated

Broken processor/softbricked?

So, I got an HTC One M8 of a friend of mine. I tried to repair the phone as it was in a bootloop. However, even after installing several different roms it wouldn't start. I noticed another strange thing; Whenever I want to go from the bootloader to recovery, it takes absolutely ages (read: 10-15 minutes) to actually get to this. I tried it with a custom recovery as well as the stock recovery. This makes me think it has something to do with the CPU?
So far I've tried different ROMs, a nandroid backup, updating my firmware and (unsuccesfully) finding a RUU file for my HTC M8. I have included the getvar information for further possible details:

I posted the getvar in another thread in which other people also posted theirs, so I accidentally copied someone else's info!
And I was afraid of that as I have been looking for it as well... Is there maybe a generic RUU file that works for most m8 devices?

no every device variant have it's own RUU ( available or not )
your best solution ( i'm afraid it's the only ) is to restore a stock backup then flash the signed firmware
all you need in this thread at the first 5 posts

yea, just tried this again, didn't work, was stuck again on the o1ne screen after the vodafone logo. after installing a custom rom (android revolution HD 53.1) it was also stuck on the same screen. the last time it was stuck on this screen, it didn't get any further after a full 8+ hours of waiting. I waited for an hour on both flashings, but nothing at all...
Thanks for assisting me so far anyway
