I was forced to post here since I am still a noob per the site...
I was wondering if anyone has tried to port Net Hunter to a Note 8.0? If so, what kernel did you use?

Hello, xdaDevs,
I recently got my Galaxy Note 8.0 (N5110) and I was surprised by the tiny number of ROMs for it.
Well, I thought I may be able to do something about that.
First off, I've not asked anyone about permissions to port their ROM yet.
So, what got me interested in porting a ROM for the Note 8 was a tutorial on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2284985
As the Note 8.0 and the 10.1n hardware looks mostly the same ( Both have an Exynos 4412, the 10.1 has Rev 1.1 and the Note 8 has Rev 2.0, they share a Mali-400 GPU, the resolution is the same as is the soundchip. )
A problem could be the lack of HW-Buttons on the Note 10.1...
So, xdaDevs, following the tutorial on the site I linked to above, how likely will I succeed? How likely will I brick my device if I have made a Nandroid backup on TWRP?
Is there anything I haven't considered?
someone's ported the galax Y 8rom to the gn2 so I'd suspect the 101 to the 8 should be doable.
Hey fellow Tab 8 owners! I just replaced my Galaxy Note 1 for the Note 8. Before I did, I ordered an Appradio 3 knowing the original note would sync. My question...Only the Note 1 & 2 are listed as compatible with the Pioneer Appradio 3..They both use MHL to connect...Since the Note 8 Tab uses MHL, as well as being so simalar to the Note 2..Does anyone think my Tab will work? I'm so impressed with the many intelligent people on XDA, hopefully somebody has some insight...:good:

How about anyone with the Note 2 using Appradio? Do you believe the OS is pretty much the same so the tab might work?

I have been stuck between the appradio 2 and 3. Two has arl app which allows foul mirroring. Three uses a different protocol and had no app for full mirroring at the moment. Very interested in results though.

i played every game on redmi flawlessly except the dark knight rises... there isnt lag while playing dark knight rises but few shutters but still the game is playable and i dont know about grand duos gaming i played games like modern combat 5, nfs most wanted, dungeon hunter 4, shadow gun, asphalt 8etc and the decision is upto you I came to know that xiaomi is planning to release kitkat for redmi in which the performance will be more better as kikat uses less resources than jelly bean and hope we can run TDKR with those no shutters as snapdragon 400 is capable of doing this thing easily as moto g does so its just a software problem

The Galaxy grand duos has only DUAL CORE, a crappy screen and a crappy battery. You won't be able to play any good games on it and you'll probably need a new phone really quickly. Redmi 1s is probably 3 times as good as that phone.

Hi folks
Has anyone heard about installing win10 on the galaxy note 10.1 2014? Would it be possible? Nice idea.
Anyone tried to enable Gear VR googles on Note10+? I have copied all GearVR and Oculus apps from Note 9 and reinstalled it on Note 10+
Oculus store can be started, but putting Note 10+ into the connector on the googles is not starting any app... According to Samsung they have dropped the coopearation with Oculus, so Note 10+ will not formally support googles... Maybe one of the power users post solution here?
Anyone succeeded with starting Gear VR support?
Note 10 + does not exactly fit into the Note 9 GearVR, but this can be solved with knife/file/saw
You'll need a dev to add all the Oculus stuff to a custom ROM, if possible...
Easy solution, get an Oculus Go, the you don't have to worry about it for a while.
