The biggest difference is that almost everything is working its quicker, stable, smoother, better translation and it has a working battery in the top bar

try this:
1. Go to recovery mode
2. Do Nand backup
3. Wipe data/factory reset (format boot, system, data and cache)
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot phone
6. Power down
7. Go to recovery
8. Flash Update (fixes phone)
9. Flash kernel (makes wifi work)
10. Reboot Phone
Use ClockworkMod Recovery

But now I have problem problem with the ROM-file. There's an error when trying to install "E:No signature (786 files) Verification failed".
Maybe this is due to something with my phone, but when trying other ROMs I have no problem.

Its because its not signed you can always use clockwork to flash it.
Or you can sign it yourself.

see in the recovery if you have turned toggle signature verification on!!
you must turn that option off in recovery and that sould solve the problem i think.

OK, thanks. That'll surely do the trick. The only problem is that I'm using another recovery, AmonRA Recovery, which doesn't have the option to skip the signed check.
I also don't know how to sign the zip-file by myself!

For music try replace with that:

Its kinda fast, expect for the settings menu, everything works fine for me
the screen animations effects are awesome, my i love the newer version of the tc screen off animation, thanks a lot

My tablet has N8020-CWM-noTouch-6.0.3.6 recovery and root. Is this enough?

Use philZ recovery to install with the GAPPS as well. Also, you' ll need to skip through setup and enable hardware keyboard toggle in language and input to get software keyboard to work. Also you'll need to set mobile network to global and wait a bit for signal to be set up. I recommend the cm spen app from the play store to recognise spen input and it will switch keyboards as well. I used stylus keyboard to write this and it is miles better than Samsung's

Hi,
Have flashed the n8020 version and I must say it looks and feels fantastic.
Only issue is netflix and afl (sport streaming app) are not working. YouTube, Hulu and others seem fine.
I understand this is embryonic, but just wondering if others are experiencing similar and have any solutions?

Ha, indeed no footy would be sad. No, not a pies supporter but have to live with 2 of them.
Using a bit of Google fu I've found a couple of possible fixes
edit 1: I should add the error for Netflix is - sorry we could not reach the netflix service. please try again later. (-9)
Will let you know if I have any success
edit 2:AFL app sorted - uninstall and reinstall did the trick

Dirty Unicorns stuck on boot screen; Oneplus 5t with TWRP

I installed TWRP using this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3704592
I then wiped the phone (Cleared Dalvic, Cache, Data, etc...) to do a clean install, installed the rom along with a Gapps package (https://www.teamandroid.com/2018/03/04/install-gapps-android-81-oreo-roms/)
I installed the dirty unicorns rom with du_dumpling-v12.5.3-20181109-2330-OFFICIAL.zip form thier download page, and it has been trying to boot for an hour.

Are you encrypted?
If you are, you need to decrypt for DU on the 5T – format data via TWRP (but backup your internal storage first as this will be wiped too).

TWRP > Wipe > Format data (but like I said before, backup your internal storage first as this will be wiped too).
@Zackptg5's Universal DM-Verity, ForceEncrypt Disabler works with DU on the 5T
I've always done: DU, GApps, DM-Verity ForceEncrypt Disabler, Magisk - no need to flash Magisk first to get a boot.img backup as it's in the DU zip.

Also, is there a problem with sound on DU? I can't seem to get my headphones to work correctly (I can hear notifications, button presses, but no music) (I tested them on my PC, they work fine)

No problem with sound here using wired earbuds or bluetooth headphones.

I installed the ROM and was using it for some time.
1. I was able to install gapps (Bitgapps .6) and login to google. But my contacts didn't show up. In the settings >other accounts section, there is no option to enable contacts sync
2. I installed Titanium backup pro which i purchased from google and titanium took quite a long time(this is true of all all apps requiring root) to acquire root privileges. Also I was not able to do batch restore . After restoring one app titanium exits.
3 gcam works. Stock camera does not work. Able to record videos and photos using gcam
4 There was heating with the default kernel, ie nameless R28. I installed bubble wrap successfully, but still the temp was above normal ie around 50°C.
5. Volte works.
So the initial set up of apps and data could take some time. Also heating. Chinese characters are there in some apps. Otherwise ROM can be used as daily driver.

Actually I intended to use it for a few days but I was not able to restore my apps. If I restore one by one it is very tedious. When I get time I will do it.

I've a problem when I connect my bluetooth headset everything crashes - bluetooth doesnt work, and system is very laggy - it happens everytime.

In my case, i had put the sim card in the wrong slot. When i changed my sim card to the other slot, everything worked fine. I have twin sim slots. I don't know if there are multiple versions, but this helped me.

Can you plz bring call recording feature. Love the ROM btw. I don't want to switch to another ROM.
