Motorola Droid Pro Android Development goes here!!
The fusingblackrose, one of the MIUI developers of Samsung Epic 4G and LG Optimus 2X, ask to the community what could be the next Device with (I think official support) MIUI. Maybe if all our community post a comment on this thread we could have this port!! What do you think???

well....so surprise~
I am just wondering how come there is such a lack of development for the OG, no kernels, not many ROMs, etc seems soo unlike android, and makes me kind of regret getting this phone. I love it, but with a nice custom ROM tweaked out id love it even more. Not trying to *****, cause i am in no way capable of doing what many of the cooks do on xda, just inquiring.
How can you say there's no development going on? The following are available:
- LG 4.1.2
- CM 10.1
- AOSP 4.2.1
- AOKP 4.2.1
- AOKP 4.2.2
- CarbonROM 4.2.something
- RootBox 4.2.2
- and several of the N4 ROMs are known to work with the right incantations and sacrifices.
Sent through the telekinetic powers of an Optimus G (E971) running AOKP 4.2.1.
Seriously? Can you point me at them?
Need the CM10.1

Check the following three sub-forums to the LG Optimus G forums:
Optimus G Android Development
Optimus G Original Android Development
Optimus G E973 (Canada) Android Development
If you can find this here Q&A forum, I'm pretty sure you can find those three. They're all part of the same LG Optimus G forum, afterall.
EDIT: Add links for the truly lazy.
Motorola has just confirmed that Moto G5 Plus will be updated to Android 8.0 (Oreo).
So, just relax. And wait. Good things come to those who wait

Might as well just link the official source... https://blog.motorola.com/2017/09/14/say-hello-android-oreo/
So does this mean moto will release the sources for 8.0 maybe? Not sure of their track record

Yes, they are required to release the kernel source (only) per license for using the Linux kernel. Moto has a really good history of releasing the relatively quickly after an update.
Now this is awesome news

Device Status – June, 2018
Hello all and welcome to the June aquaris-dev team update of 2018,
Another 2 months has passed, with not too much excitement publicly (apart from that April Fools drama) - big news this month arrives. We missed a May update, but we were hard at work regardless. We won’t cover the stats this time, but you can see the stats of how popular our BQ devices are by checking on the LineageOS stats site.
Our BQ device news now
This month, we only really have news about the BQ Aquaris X/X Pro (bardock/bardockpro) device (it’s our first 64bit device) as we haven’t had a whole bunch of time to work on our projects.
We want to share our appreciation to BQ as they released the Aquaris X/X-Pro Oreo kernel source code before the shipping public OTA (as the their final BETA build was the same as the shipping GMS build) which is a great step for any OEM.
We’ll look into at supporting our older devices (msm8937 based as they MAY receive Oreo from BQ at some point) first with Android Oreo (Lineage 15.1) but as always, we are not promising support for these devices - if you have contributions to make, please get in contact to help speed up this project..
If the community is interested, we might do a blog post in the future explaining some of the challenges of porting LineageOS to devices so our readers can learn about why things take so long.
Aquaris X / Aquaris X Pro - Status (bardock/bardockpro)
We’ll work on getting final things tuned for a official LineageOS 15.1 release in the very near future. We don’t recommend using unofficial builds that are floating around on the internet for the device as we’ll be working on supporting official builds later .
