access thread of sms - Sony Smartwatch 3

Hello,
I had a quick look through old post and only one person pointed the problem and nobody answered with a solution
How do you access the previsou sms already received?
I can see every sms popping on my watch, I can answer them. But if I want to read previous ones or a different thread I can't find find any access to it. I don't see any way of doing it?
No icons on the list of app. no proposition of seeing sms when choosing a contact.
I installed different sms reader on my phone, all compatible with wear, with no differences.
It has to be possible, I can't believe this function does not exist.
Thanks for helping me.
Vincent

Have you tried Hangouts?

I use Wear Messenger and you can scroll through previously received messages (at least those you received since installing the app)

ghost text message

there are no undread texts in my sms list but my hermes still tells me that theres one unread text message, and the htc home plugin also shows as one unread text message, even when ive emptied my inbox it still says one unread, im using tnt 19199, does anyone else have this problem?
My friend also had this problem and I think it's not ROM specific problem because we were using same ROM! I really don't know how he solved that problem but when I found out I will let you know!
Quickest way out would be to backup your PPC files then hard reset the device.
Restore your data files and see if this cures the problem.
Cheers
WB
ive done that twice, i also backed up my text messages, it works fine after i hard reset it but when i restore my text messages it comes back again!
viktorx im waiting for your solution
I had the same problem. There's a little app called FixUnreadCount.exe that you can use. Not sure how to post it here but I could email it to you if you PM me your email addy.
You guys should really learn how to use the advanced functions of Google... A quick search turned up this post in this forum...

FixUnreadCount does not fix problem
I am having this problem on my unread mail messages. I completely empty all mail folders and I still always show 1 unread message. Short of doing a hard reset, any idea what may fix this?

[Q] Cyanogen CM6 SMS only converting to MMS after 3x160 characters, not splitting

Hello,
Running Cyanogen CM6 RC1 here. I've been having trouble sending long text messages, which I initially diagnosed as a problem sending MMS.Specifically whenever I tried to send a long text message (longer than 160 chars) it would just hang and say "sending" for like 5 minutes before I get a failure report. Curiously, I had no trouble sending or receiving messages with multimedia content, like images.
After some additional tinkering and web searching, I discovered that MMS was working fine. Rather, my phone is trying to send text messages between 161 and 480 characters as SMS without breaking them apart into the appropriate number of parcels. Above 460, or 3x160, the phone is converting them to MMS and it goes through just fine.
Is there a way to change the threshold before which SMS are converted to MMS? I think all the EVO owners are pretty much on the same plan which gives us unlimited media messaging, therefore there is no point in not sending any SMS over 160 chars as an MMS. Is there a way we could change the threshold to 1? I imagine this is what HTC did in their messenger that was installed with Sense.
*Temporary solution:* If anyone else out there is having this problem, but doesn't have a solution, I have a temporary one. Simply download and use the free Handcent SMS application, and in the settings (settings>send message settings>Split 160) change the value from "Don't split" to "Simple Split". This will automatically break up messages between 161-460 into 2-3 parcels of 160 chars or less.
Handcent i think has those setting parameters.
also, this is a known issue already, and has already been greatly discussed.

Sorry, I was typing an edit as you made the mention about handcent. However, I haven't found the setting that allows you to change the threshold--only to make the message split. Also, it will allow to turn off conversion altogether. Am I not seeing it?
Also, perhaps I'm not so savvy here, but I've been unable to find any solutions on forums or anywhere. If this issue is already very well discussed, any chance you provide me with a link please?
I have this same problem which is VERY annoying! Like you said I have not seen it discussed before either!
It's not a CM6 issue.
It's an Android issue.

So it would appear then that there is no solution to this?
yeah, there is a solution. use handcent. chomp probably does it too.
btw, you may want to post your questions in the 'questions' section

Ah, next time I'll use the questions section. Regarding Handcent, does this actually allow me set the threshold, or just break up longer messages into multiple SMS--I mean, does Handcent present another solution other than the one I specified in my initial post?
AFAIK, SMS length is an agreed upon standard that probably in the near future won't be changed. longer messages will be broken up into transmissable lengths of 160 chars, until a message is long enough that it is actually simpler on the network to send the whole thing as a single MMS loaf.

[Q] How to delete recent?

This is my 1st post so hi to all
From 4 days i have HTC Mozart - nice phone, but i have a question about WP7:
- how to delete/empty "resent" in "people" hub ?
//edit
ah sry, understood that wrong -.-
//edit2
now i am asking myself the same question lol
Is there an update on this yet? Very Annoying...
What is annoying exactly? I don't understand the question I guess.
Recent lists the last few contacts you have interacted with, isn't this a good thing?
It is for me anyway as it keeps my "top" contacts easily available without having to pin them to start or searching thru a thousand contacts.
I don't like listing my call history on any phone, just my preference. I always clear my sms, emails and calls. I guess I'm OCD.

People Hub Recent has nothing to do with your calls... its recent Profiles you visited.
Call History already has a "delete all" function for all you conpiracy theory people

[Q] Can't reply to SMS

Okay, I've got a weird problem with SMS texts. I can receive them just fine, but if I answer that sms it doesn't get sent! I have to go out the app and start a fresh sms (instead of just replying and seeing the tread above) to get it to send! It's so weird!!
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Complainer: Answer is not related to particular phone model.
I hardy remember but there was setting like "use defined communication center=YES/NO".
Center is related to carrier.
If someone sends SMS reply directly - not always works if at all.
I cannot tell more, unfortunately.

There are no settings like that on the Z1 Compact. But I've slimmed the error. It seems that I can reply just fine to just about any number except one... my wife's number . Perhaps the thread i've imported is way to long (I think over 500 texts)?
Any ideas?

[Q] Where to find list of text messages?

Hello! On SW 2 you could read text messages you got earlier, and see your list of calls. On SW 3 I only get to read a sms the moment I get it. Am I doing something wrong, or isnt it possible to read previous texts, and check calls, see pictures and so on?
The sw2 and sw3 are running different OS's so you shouldn't expect the same features. Sw3 is an Android wear device manufactured by Sony.
to reply to your question, using hangouts there is no way to read older sms messages. let's hope this will change in the future, considering we have text input methods already out there...
Use google messenger. When you get a text you can swipe left and see your whole convo
Thanx
Thanx for the answers folks! I was afraid I wasnt wrong, that you cant read old messages. I am in fact pretty dissapointed about SW3 vs SW2.. Lets just they make it possible in the future.
Wear messenger works pretty well in doing this. You can go back and read messages even if you haven't received a text. Plus you can send texts via keyboard input. Works great for work when I can't have my phone out, but can still respond briefly to people.
