It might seem like a stupid question, but I cannot find the answer after extensive search so please bear with me. The model of Huawei Watch available in my region is Huawei Watch W1 Mercury-G00. Is this something different from he standard Huawei Watch, or the same? I just need verification before making the plunge and buying this. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Mercury was the code name given to the watch whilst it was in development. This was so it could be referred to without using the final product title. As far as I know there is currently only 1 model (Hardware build) of the W1 and only the straps differ. The ladies editions will also be released "in Q1 2016"
As it stands if you buy a Huawei Watch it will be the same as everyone elses bar the strap choice.
Thank you so much! I'll take the plunge!

Hi.
Due to the movement of the Huawei Devices (Not only Pulse/Pulse Mini), I want to request a generic Huawei forum for all devices, becouse we are poissoning the general android developing forum, and there's a lot of threads related on it.
Also there's some Huawei devices with similar specs that works with another ROMS, so thinks the best way to get organizated is to launch a new generic Huawei forums.
Thanks in advance

^+1 I know this is my first post, but I'd also like to see this forum come about. There is alot of interest in this phone as well as the other LG Android that MetroPCS has put out. Id like to see some Devson these.....wish I knew how, but I dont....lol
this thread is sort of a duplicate, there already are dozens (maybe one hundred) of request for a Huwaei U8150 forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860189&page=18
are all these requests still not enough to open a dedicated forum?
I'm wondering why this hasn't happened yet either. I'm also using a U8150, and I love the thing. I'd rather have an Evo, but if you're buying a GSM phone, and you want it off contract, there's just no better option out there!
need forum for ideos

Does anyone know where to download this? I have looked everywhere as well and can not find it.
My question is something different.
I see there are good themers here in this section.
So why nobody of them is replicating these great watch faces without having us to wait for a (maybe) future official release?

I'd really like these as well. I thought the face off designs would be the first ones I would be downloading.

Awesome and thank you they look great!
Did anyone ever find this after?
Yeah, I would like to get that design also. Been looking for it on the net and, haven't been able to find it.
Is it released yet??
Actually because David Pasqual is a designer and this design was part of the Motorola Design Contest way before the 360 was released. His actual watch face is the winner out of what I believe, if I remember correctly, over a 1,000 entries. Plus it's copyrighted which is why nobody will make his exact design.
Motorola/Google claimed it'd be included on a future software update to our 360's! Wear 2.0 is "supposed" to be launched on October 15th - hopefully it'll be included in this update.
As for the others, some of them may very well be copyrighted too!
Just sayin'

Hey I like your work, but could you, would you include the second hand on an update please?
October 15? Awesome! Thanks for letting us know, I look forward to it in a few days.
Theres one called moto face on repo. Bit cut down but could be customized
I was able to recreate it, but not exactly the same. I couldnt create the same functionality because of my limited knowledge. But it turned out pretty cool.

I had not seen anybody post this yet but someone has made and posted the Paul Stringer design to facerepo. Since I can't post links yet you will have to search for it. At the moment it is on the first page after show all round faces. The info below should take you to it if you add it after facerepo.com

I've replied to your first post asking the same question.
Yup, I saw that. Can I delete this thread (or a mod can, perhaps?)
Thanks again, for the helpful response!
You're welcome, a mod should be able to remove when they see it. Enjoy the Watch

Hello guys,
I am looking for a 300-500$ tablet with good specs and a note-taking pen.
I was considering this tablet,
do you guys recommend it ?
Any other better alternatives out now or coming soon?
Please share your thoughts, thanks

I wouldn't buy it again. Hardware is quite okay but the SW is very buggy. Next thing is that the tablet is not attractive for developers. So you basically have to stay with the standard stock rom.

I would say it always depends on what he's looking for. I'm pretty much happy with it as - just my 2 cent - I really like EMUI. Further more the premium version - in connection with the lecture notes app - is really great for handwritten notes and a lot of digital notebooks.
Writing my blog articles I love the multi window mode of it pretty much as well.
No need for custom ROMs at my end, as I'm petty happy with the basics I need it for.

Great tablet, it will be shame for Huawei not to publish the Android 6 ROM. Its my first tablet and i like it.
The only thing is, i don't know why, its not supported by developers. I don't like the EMUI Launcher, so the next day I've opened it for the first time, i have replaced it with Google Launcher accessible from Google Play.
I am not playing games on the tablet, bought it for maps, books and surfing. Extra feature is the stylus, which is actually more practical as i thought.
So at the end - if Huawei will offer 6.0, it was a good buy.
I have the mania: do not upgrade, developers spend it. I bought it because the computer magazine today he was given a third quality disappointment. Aluminum design, but the inside EMUI, awful. I want rotearla or throw it away.
It's a very good tablet, but till now without android 6 and I think we can forget to receive nougat.... (it's a shame for a suche good tablet)
LET US HOPE
My two cents. The hardware is pretty good but I'm not a fan of EMUI. And I'm very disapointed that it is still running Lollipop. Rumour is that we will get Marshmallow but there is no hard evidence of this as yet. And as Huawei has only just released kernel source code, there have been no custom ROMs so far. Hopefully we will get one soon.

Don't. At least until there is no update to Android6 ... which there probably won't ever be.
[edit] Didn't look at note taking pen, disregard recomendation below.
I'd look at Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016. It seems to be in the same HW bracket, comes with Android6.
Hi all,
Hopefully this is a good forum for this question. Can anyone let me know if one can add the 'week number' (of the year) as a piece of information in a watchface for the Huawei Watch GT? If not, do you know is that is something Huawei could add in a future upgrade and what would be the right place to request that?
Thanks in advance
