My GT-9195L is not working - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
A couple days ago I let my Galaxy S4 mini charging and I went to sleep. When I woke up i found that my phone didn't turn on at all, just vibrated when plugged to the power outlet. After going through hundreds of threads, I got into Download Mode, but I'm stuck since then. I tried flashing Stock ROM and Recovery from Odin, Heimdall and Kies, but no luck, I switched USB ports and cables, switched OS and machine but I couldn't get to flash anything.
When I try to flash from Odin, It detects my phone (I see that "added!" sign) but when it starts, it gets stuck at Initialzation, or SetupConnection. I decided to use Heimdall instead, but it said "couldn't initialise protocol" and it wouldn't do nothing. As a final resource, I installed Kies and used that "Emergency System Restore" or something like that. It downloaded the firmware but at the moment of installing it got stuck at 0%.
I'm running out of ideas and patience, because I can't really know what happened when my phone suddenly stopped working.
Any ideas? I was running stock KitKat 4.4.2 ROM.
Cheers

Issue trying to update to 4.3

I have the Galaxy Note II with T-Mobile.
Some background: It was running Android 4.1.2. I rooted my phone once, about two weeks ago, just so I could take an image of it in case of an update issue. (I think the software was called nandroid.) Once I took the backup, I unrooted it again.
Since then, doing the Software Update check under settings never returned any results. It would just keep checking until I clicked cancel.
Anyway, when T-Mobile released the 4.3 update Monday morning, I tried updating to it using the Kies software on my PC (by connecting it through the USB cable). It got up to about 60% installation and then just hung for over an hour. So I unplugged the phone, re-plugged it back in, and then attempted the emergency firmware recovery through Kies. It went through this and got upto 76% installation and then just hung again for another hour. I again unplugged it to re-try the emergency recovery again, but every time I connected the phone, Kies would not detect it again. I re-seated the battery, rebooted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Kies, but Kies would not detect my phone again.
I can't even figure out a way to get to a screen where I can install the image I took using Nandroid a few weeks ago.
Any help or advice anyone can provide would be extremely appreciated!

I am/was running the stock rom, but I think I left out an important piece of information-- my phone won't even boot into it's normal screen. Any time I turn it again, i see the screen--"there were errors during firmware upgrade. try emergency recovery in Kies."
I will repost in the correct forum. Thanks for your help.

[Q] The strangest BIGGEST problem

Hi All,
Device = GT-N7100
Been flashing my note 2 with several roms for ages now. However today decided I might try abit of STOCK 4.3. So went to Sammobile and downloaded UK BTU.
Flashed the file fine using ODIN 3.9
Started setting everything up and noticed the phone went to sleep and wouldn't wake up, so decided to clear cache and full data reset using the stock recovery.
Anyway started setting up wifi again etc. Left the phone and it went to sleep again and wouldn't wake up.
Then decided I will download the UK Vodafone from sammobile and see if that is any better.
So rebooted the phone into odin mode. plugged in my usb cable, noticed there was no bleeps from the pc. started odin 3.9. Nothing. No device listed.
Any way to cut a long story short, I cant side load when the phone is running I cant ADB to the phone and the only thing listed in "device manager" on my WIN 8 machine is "Android SMS" as a driver which says it is not working. I have uninstalled Samsung USB drivers gone through all the processes listed on the net.
I cannot get the phone to communicate with the PC at all. So changed computer and it automatically installed Android SMS... on the new machine.
So at the moment im stuck with GLITCHY stock firmware and cannot root / cant side load via USB or anything... HELP!!
Also I cannot enable bluetooth, so I cant send a file like that.
Ok problem solved by sheer chance. When i let the phone boot normally I was getting 7 CDC drivers.
Looked these up and found this thread. Cured the problem.

Things have gone from BAD to WORSE
Well this morning downloaded a different STOCK UK N7100 ROM. Flashed this. Everything seemed to work correctly except it has got stuck in boot loop.
Now my main issue is it has locked me out again I need for the phone to boot so I can use the dialler to *#7284# to select USB and not MODEM.
When I boot into CWM it shows that SDCARD cannot be mounted and same with DATA.
When I am CWM or DOWNLOAD mode the laptop or PC does not recognise the device. Any ideads??? JTAG??:crying:

flashing problem

So maybe a month ago I decided to upgrade to nc2 firmware and bootloader so I could use sprint port.
I used mobile odin to flash route66 and all went well until I discovered that I lost root because i didnt install properly. Not easy when your usb doesnt connect to pc! Anyways, i was finally able to root with an apk i found here and got twrp working. Good thing I made a backup. Every time I install a rom it never boots up. Looks like it just turns off. Even if I try to power on it wont do anything but vibrate once. No logo screen or anything
I have to boot to recovery and restore from there. Am I missing something? I get succsesful install but nothing happens after. I tried sprint port and likewise rom. same thing happens
Yeah sorry but that will happen when you update with mobile Odin, you need to update with PC version. Try different cable, usb ports, uninstalling kies, reinstalling drivers, even different computer

Another idiot (me) bricked my GalaxyTab s8.4. Odin not working, need help resolving

Hi.
Apologies for my stupidity in advance, but i need some help.
I recently rooted my samsung GalaxyTab s8.4 (SM-T700).
The root app wouldnt work, kept saying it needed to update but kept failing to update, so i reflashed it.
It worked, but now the screen would flicker randomly and it would reboot ranodmly.
I downloaded the stock rom to try and go back to the beginning and althouth it installed, now when i turn on the tablet it starts "optimizing apps", gets to about 170 out of 206 and reboots. Keeps doing this.
I downloaded a different rom to try get out of this, but in odin, it only gets as far as "SetupConnection", fails and doesnt update the tablet.
I have tried different usb cables, different ports, reinstalling the samsung drivers, rebooting my pc, different versions of odin and different rom's but all with the same result.
So i am stuck. is there a way to load on a rom using the microsd card? do i have any alternatives or is my device now a paperweight?
Appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks.
Amazingly, after letting it reboot about what felt like 20 times, it came back to life!
Unfortunately, it still has the screen flickr & reboot issue, which i believe ( from googling) is just the lastest lollypop release for the s8.4 not being good.
Is it possible to roll back to kitkat?
did you do a full wipe?

Help please, stuck on boot loop and have tried tons of options with no luck

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I tried to root it and while it was in download mode finishing up, the phone dropped and got unplugged! Now the phone wont even boot up. It just gets stuck on the Samsung logo and it stays on the logo for a few seconds and then disappears and shows the logo again. It just does that over and over. I've downloaded stock firmware so I can use odin and flash it back. I went into download mode and connected the usb cable, but odin does not find my device. Can someone please help me out with this, I'm absolutely lost on this. I've tried to do research for more than 6 hours with no luck.
Also, I already have the correct driver's on my computer. I have no idea what to do, can someone please please help!!!!
Update problem solved!
Just wanted to provide a update in case someone else has the same problem.
I've tried several different cables and different usb ports until my computer did detect the phone. Flashed a stock rom and it fixed everything! Then went on and rooted the phone properly. I would like to thank Josh Beach for the help!
