Dialer Problem on upgrade to CM 12 - Sony Xperia ZL

I'm on CM 11 snapshot milestone (which has no problems with the dialer) and whenever I update to the latest nightly or the snapshot milestone for CM12, the dialer/phone app dials out but there is no audio output and no microphone input. I've tried to flash the latest 10.7.A.0.222 using flashtool and clean install cm 12 but still the same problem. Sound recording is working as is audio out with other apps.

UPDATE
I am able to use headphones (3.5mm) with mic to talk along with bluetooth devices and speaker mode but still not the normal ear speaker.

Bluetooth Problems with smartband and stock rom

Hello when I'm on the stock rom or any stock based rom the connection between my smartband talk swr30 appears like this //images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/22/9cb1436cd57d0043be16dac3a9e879b3.jpg only call audio.
cant post links copy the text after the //
The problem is that I cant use voice commands or answer messages by voice because the smatbands mic isn't recognised.
Other devices work perfectly an pair like this //images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/22/46c2e329efa11203d145add97219cc02.jpg with call audio and media audio.
But when I flash any aosp or cm based rom the smartband talk connects with media and call audio, the voice commands work, everything works perfectly.
Any ideas?. There is something i can modify on stock bluetooth files [emoji23] ?. I dont know any help is appreciated[emoji3] and sorry my english hope you understand.

Any ideas?
Hello,
I have exactly the same problem ! (I received my Swr30 three days ago for my birthday)
Do You find a solution about the Bluetooth ?
If not, I think that I'll try to flash a cm rom, but it will be cool if I 'll don' t need to do that.
Sorry too for my en glisse.
Have a good Day !
I had the very same problem with Garmin VivoActive with stock v30N EUR.
Instead Garmin works with Fulmics 7.6.
Instead I have another bluetooth problem: no voice commanding with JVC car radio KD-784BT and Motorcycle Intercom Midland BT-X1 FM.
Voice commanding work with:
- LineageOS 14.1
- RR 5.8.4.
They do not work with:
- Stock v30n EUR
- Fulmics 7.6
- Stock v21A
- Stock V30A (March 2017) Bumped
- Stock V30A (March 2017) Bumped + Xceed Kernel

Cyanogenmod 13 No Audio

Hi All,
I just flashed the latest nightly build of Cyanogenmod 13 to my Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML). The issue that I am experiencing is that I have no audio output at all. That includes phone audio, speakerphone audio, and media audio.
What would be the best solution to this issue?
Thanks!
Update
I ended up running the CyanogenMod updater and installing the available update. That solved the issue.
Just thought I'd post this in case someone else runs into the same issue!

low speaker volume on cyanogen roms

OK...so I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this problem or not, but every cm ROM I have installed the speaker call volume is obnoxiously low...if I'm on a stock lollipop or stock marshmallow ROM whether its modded or not the volume is fine but on a cm ROM it sucks...its only the voice call speaker volume that is low. The bluetooth, media volume, etc... is fine. I have tried increasing the voice call speaker volume through the mixer paths XML file via es file explorer and it only gets distorted and I have tried many ways...turning it down from 66 to 64 (that makes it sound lower), turning it up from 66 to 68, 70 (that makes it sound distorted). Anyway is this a normal issue for cm ROMs for the speaker call volume to sound low or is there some kind of work around to enhance the volume...thanks
Friend, that sounds like it could be a modem issue. I've used CM-based ROMs for years and haven't had this issue. Currently on vanilla CM and my call/speaker volume is great (D850 variant).
Strange...well I don't reflash bootstacks if I'm already on the correct one but y would everything else work except speakerphone...should I try a modem all by itself? I'm on vs985 variant running resurrection remix (latest build)

Yes. Find a modem for your device and flash it through recovery. It's possible the solution could be that quick and easy. I have no idea why one thing would work and not the other, but personally I would start with the modem.
CM Roms ... The kernels have fauxsound support in kernel management... Have you tried adjusting those settings?
I have not but somebody has told me that when I put them on speakerphone they can hear themselves echoing back when they talk...I flashed to a stock based rom and they no longer hear the echo...I reflashed a custom Rom and now they hear the echo again...so...I flashed a couple more cm aosp rims and they hear the echo on those roms to...is the echo curse normal on custom aosp roms or is there something I'm missing???

Joyeuse dialing problem + possible workaround.

Hello, my Joyeuse is having some problem receiving/making cellphone calls. Some of the symptoms are:
- Can not receive nor make calls at all. Outgoing calls end immidiately and incoming calls won't reach.
- Can receive and make calls, but there's no sound on both ends.
- Wifi calls work just fine.
The problem occurs on both custom and stock ROM, and persists after reboot. I have not found the causes but flashing Audio Compability Patch (Magisk) with all "yes" options currently fixes the problem for me. Please let me know this works for you so we would have more information to the problem, thank you.
Had the same problem. Fixed it by updating the voice recorder app to latest version.
same problem here . im on EU rom but it was also an issue with stock rom . theres no updates for the voice recorder app to start with and i do have audio Audio Compability Patch installed since i flashed the rom n the issue is still there
