I rooted my V410 with 5.0.2 using Kingroot. After rooting I used SuperSU-Me and it said the binaries needed updating. Since it restarted I have been stuck on the LG boot logo. I can get into download mode but LGflashtool 2014 doesnt recognize the device. Drivers are installed and it is recognized in Windows as an LG Mobile composite USB Device. Thanks for looking at this I hope to get it resolved soon.

Follow the steps in my thread and you'll be able to use custom ROMs. I don't think you can get back to stock 5.x from this point, but at least your device won't be bricked anymore.

Hi there,
i rooted my G3 using Towelroot and all worked fine.
Today i installed the actual Version Xposed Framework and after rebooting it entered a Bootloop.
So i tried to Hard Reset my G3 but when i confirm it the Android with the Gaers show up for a second and then my G3 keeps showing the LG Logo for a few Minutes till i disassamble the Battery.
Next step i try is to flash a firmware in Download mode, but i cant get the Drivers to work... =(
Someone have some hints for me?

Have you choosen ART modality?
If i would say "what the hell is that" ... would u slap me?
No.. i dont have chosen that..
Bigger problem is that i dont get any usb driver working for firmware update in Download mode.. =(
OK... i managed to get the drivers working.
But further Problem ist now that im not able to flash anything on my device...
Neither the TOT Method, nor updating with the Original LG Support Tool is working...
Support Tool tells me my Model Number and that my Version is most actual.
If i update anyway it stucks at 4% and tell me it cant connect.
TOT Tool tells me that my Version Number is not correct... but it is..
With the KDZ Update Tool it stucks at 4% like the Original method.
Same problem here
Any one can help us?
Solution
Hi there,
the Problem was my PC...
I was on a Windows 8.1 64bit.
Switched to a Win7-PC and all is working fine.
You should try to use the Original LG cable, or another "Original" Cable and connect it to a USB-Port on the Back of your PC (directly to the Mainboard)
On a blank Win 7:
- I installed the LG PC Suite
- Updated the PC Suite
- Connected my LG in Download Mode
- Let the PC install all drivers,
- Disconnected the Phone
- Downloaded the actual LG Mobile Support Tool
- Let the Support tool do the work
After this i got my first OTA Update and its working like a charme
After modifying build files failed, G4 bootlooped at starting logo.
Tried to repair it with lg bridge, and it was forced to update to 6.0 v20c.
Flashed it with v10fkdz(5.1), and the error message was shown:"Error Code=0x2000, Can't decide current device mode."
Can anybody help me to solve the problem?
I think you broke your download mode; sadly, it is the only mode that you can flash via LG Bridge and LG UP. If you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash an image through fastboot. As for me, I can't flash on either of those programs since I also broke my download mode and I have a locked bootloader. Otherwise stated, I have a hard bricked device. Waiting for some possible new program to fix my device
I tried on 3 different PCs, and another available G4 device.
The problem is still there.
I don't know why,
but after reinstall LGUP, downgrade of my phone is OK.
Thx guys
I'm a newbie and don't know much about phones. I rooted my phone for the very first time and was about to install CWM.
I've an LG Optimus G Pro F 240K.
I downloaded an app namely Flash Optimus G in .apk form and installed it on my phone. I tapped on Flash and the screen read "SUCCESS! Now re-boot you phone into recovery." I tapped Reboot into recovery. That time and now, i'm numbed. The phone isn't responding at all. I'm using Windows 10 Pro. In device manager, an exclaimed mark icon gets visible when i connect my phone.
The device name is QHSUSB_DLOAD.
I've downloaded official stock firmware 4.4.2 kitkat. When i use LG Flash Tool, it says your device isn't connected to your computer.
What should i do???

Or downgrade to Windows 8.1 and then restore by KDZ
qhsusb_dload means you´re in qualcomm mode, and also means that you´ve killed phone boot. from what I know, only medusa and riff boxes can fix it.

Hey guys,
so I recently decided to update my LG G3 (D855 EU) from CM12.1 to CM13, but it just told me that I have the wrong baseband.
So I flashed a baseband someone recommended on reddit/here (xdabbeb_vs98535b_bootstack.zip) which apparently wasn't the right one.
So I just rebooted (bad idea), now my phones LEDs are just flashing red and blue right after the LG logo.
I tried the KDZ and the TOT method, but both of them failed because they can't seem to find the device!
LGUP just shows "Device Unknown". LG FlashTool never goes past READY!! And LG FlashTool 2014 cannot connect to the device.
I installed every driver I could find. (LG United Mobile Driver, LG Mobile Support tool and even LG PC Suite)
I tried uninstalling the device a couple of times, but every time it just can't seem to find any drivers for them automatically.
So installed them manually. I have "LG Electronics Inc." and "LG Electronics, Inc.". Only the first one worked, the second only gave me an Error 10 in Device-Manager (Device cannot be started)
The device is already configured as COM41. I also tried COM 4 and COM 5 for the flash tool 2014 and LGUP.
I tried everything on multiple computers and I even set up a VM to try it on Win7!
Please help me! I don't care about my data, I just want my phone back
My warranty expired a couple of months ago...

I'm using Windows 10, but I also tried it on Windows 7.
Because Windows 7 seems to work better with the tools
Google LG G3 drivers. I had the same problem with my G3 and i got drivers for the G3 only, installed them and was then able to use LG Flash atool 2014.
Thing is if using Win 10 you need to disable Driver Certification or 10 will not recognize the phone for upgrading etc. Also once disabled they will need to be done each time you start up from cold as Win 10 does not retain the setting when switched off.

I tried that already, but it can never find any drivers... I disabled Driver Certification but nothing changed.

Just a quick question... Are the Drivers supposed to be by "LG Electronics Inc." or "LG Electronics, Inc." because it is showing both of them and I really don't know which one to choose.
(I can see both of them if I manually select a driver)
hi all!
i have the same problem and didnt even got to the PC part.. my phone (lg g3 d855) just flashes red and blue lights.
if you can please explain to me (step by step) what i should do to make it work again..
i installed lolipop cm12 (had stock kitkat by LG before) on it and it worked fine but the whole purpose was to get the MM cm13 so thats when i flashed 35b instead of 21c as requested.
please help me, thank you all.
Hi all,
I was wondering, once I have custom firmware and recovery on my lg g4, will I be able to reinstall the software from LG Bridge. I understand that I could use the kdz downloaded by it in LG UP, but I was wondering, if I put my phone in download mode, could the update error recovery utility in LG Bridge also reinstall it?
Thanks in advance for your help

I tried this recently just to see what it does, but it even didn't recognize the phone. So you probably need to use LGUP (which I used to go back to stock on my G4) or TWRP to flash something else.

I just tried it and interestingly if the phone is in download mode, it does get recognized as an LG device and will initiate an Update Error Recovery
