Hi all,
I recently had found the Rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-genisys-rom-1-0-classic-v10g-t3192649.
And i also had downloaded all the neccessary files V20C 3.6 genesis Rom. But my device is H815 International version and the software is V20B.
Is that okay if i flash it with V20C 3.6 Genesis Rom?

If you have KDZ file, You don't have to upgrade lollipop. Flash MM KDZ file with wipes!
Hello,
Since we have received android Marshmallow update for LG G3 D855 (international version), I am wondering if anyone has tried to install D855 stock firmware file (android 6.0) on D850 (AT&T) version and had any success? I am hoping D855 and D850 are not too different because both use same processor.
I am asking this because I used to have a SONY phone from AT&T and I flashed international version firmware on it and it worked perfectly fine. This was about two years ago.

It will brick the device they are not as similar as you think. Only flash D850 firmware on the D850 phone.

Supposedly, the D855 firmware can be modified/patched to run on D850. At least, there is a Lollipop D855 ROM that runs of D850. So in theory, maybe the D855 ROM can be modified to run on D850.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. LG G3 is my daily use phone so I can't take a risk. That's why I was wondering if someone has tried it. I know folks at XDA are talented and someone probably have found a solution.
Hi folks,
I have a LG G3 D855P, currently running android 6.0, kernel 3.4.0.
My software version is: V30b-GLOBALL-COM.

Previewsly I used the LGUP method to upgrade from stock android 5.0.X to my currently version.
How can I update my androidversion? and should I?
