I was using CM 13 which has so many bugs..
Suggest me a stable ROM that has no Ram Leak Issue and provides good battery backup
First of all, this list is poor. Second, there's no use I or someone else vote or say a ROM is better than another because it varies from user to user.
Use the ROMs for at least 1 day and draw your own conclusions.
But if you want to my humble opinion.
Because of the rich resources I would be between RR, CARBOM and BLISSPOP.
Prism Barebone. Stable as gold.
If you're not satisfied with custom roms because of their "instability" (as they are all based on CM/AOSP, which are young on this device, but i'm much satisfied with CM13 nightly 01012016 & nano gapps) :
As with a lot of android smartphones: Stock with root, xposed, greenify, amplify, powernap...

It's been developed for a longer period of time. That would most likely be the case.
Hello,
My GF's S4 Mini is 2 years old, not a single hard reset, with unrooted stock ROM.
She is happy with performance and with phone in general but battery is bust, it barely holds for 10 hours with light to medium use.
She uses her phone for WhatsApp, Messenger and occasionally taking some photos.
I am not sure though which version does she have. I can find out that later today but meanwhile I would be grateful for your advice.
It doesn't have to be the newest ROM version, it has to be reliable, with good battery and preferably with stock camera app.
Thank you!
There is no perfect rom. Keep the rom she is using. Change the battery , after 2 years is busted as u said
It could also be old problem that battery was draining fast even with 3g/wifi/gps OFF. That`s a motherboard problem that can be fixed by changing motherboard or with a custom kernel that have the fix implemented. Stupid thing is, after u install a custom kernel, u need to root phone and disable Knox apps or they will bother u. Search what version of S4 mini she have, what rom she have and start from there to search. I have for example some kernels with fixes for that problem, but first read on forums.
The above being said and valid...
... I find that this ROM: Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.8-20151026-serranodsdd
works pretty well for me. It is stable enough. You would have to root and stuff but its worth a try.

+1. RR LP 5.5.8 is very stable and battery friendly and also Blisspop 4.0.3 last two versions are good enough. BUT, in these 2 fantastic roms i have found a major bug (at least for me) that during incoming calls most of the times my contacts dont show up their names (only numbers) or sometimes very lately. I asked the devs about the problem but did not get any reply. So m back now to PAC rom KK 4.4.4, i used it for around 4 months continuously before i tried lollipop roms. Stable, good battery(05/01/2015 version) and hell lot of features.
N.B: The above is based on my experience only. It may very from person to person. And also it does not imply that other roms are worse or better, because i have not tried all of them.
What I have observed is temperature and the kernel have big impacts on battery drain. Stock 4.4. drains the battery much slower than 4.2., and the Cyanogenmod kernels also use up less juice than the stock roms.
the same
I have same issue. 2 or more years i9195 with stock 4.4.2 android. Battery drain is about 1%/hour at idle (sleep). When using it raises to 2-5%/hour. I want any other ROM or kernel that drains less battery. Please help
My phone has almost two years. Battery remains excellent. No tricks, such as calibration, etc.
In my experience the best ROM Stock based is this http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/gt-i9192-galaxy-s4-mini-duos-4-4-2-t2832673 .
I never installed another kernel, etc. in its use. I tried several ROMS CM based but always came back to this rom for stability, reliability, battery.
But lately I have been interested in Android M.
And I was already giving up again when I decided to use CM13 (feb / 21) by K2wl without GAPPS (Open GAPPS) or Custom Kernel.
My intention is to test CM13 in its purest possible code.
So far it has been amazing. No call issues, great battery (as in SilviuMik ROM). etc
I'm curious. Will this time be able to use a ROM CM based for more than two weeks without problems with Call and battery? If this happens it will be worth testing other GAPPS.

I do not think so. But this is not a problem. Just try the kernel to 95:

I believe that all you need. I never got to use debloated version of this ROM. I'd rather do it manually.

I used the official CM12.1 nightlies (& kernal) for about a year on my I9195, in the first few months I did get almost weekly random restarts, as you might expect on a nightly, but towards year end almost none. Then I installed the last Snapshot YOG9 (or whatever) and didn't get a single reboot in months.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...i9190-i9195-cyanogenmod-12-1-s4-mini-t3100159
Currently I'm on an unofficial version of same CM12.1 that has latest monthly security updates patched (which will be built until a stable release of CM13 is out) as the official CM12.1 development has stopped due to CM13. I've not had a single crash or reboot on this CM12.1 ROM, so that's about 6mths with no problems all together.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...i9190-i9195-cyanogenmod-12-1-nightly-t3300836
My wife is on CM12.1 (NightOwl) too on her old Note N7000, she has not had a single problem in the 2mths since I installed it. So long story short I'd say almost any version of CM12.1 is now very stable (provided you clear caches etc when installing and don't load dodgy apps )

I have been using cm13 nightlies ever since it came out. Almost updated every new package. Since then i had to revert it twice. For me so far it's stable. Using it with gapps pico. But do nog use any extended cm13 roms like bliss or rr, as they are highly unstable, lagy and full of buggs.
Have a nice day to all. I have an i9192 (GT-I9192ZKAAFR, S4 mini DUOS) with the latest original I9192XXUBNB1 ROM and the CSC is I9192OJVBNB1 (AFR / Kenya / AE). I have to use this phone again and it is horrible. Often becomes hot and unresponsive. Sometimes just simply shutdown itself or reboot. That is why I moved to another phone but that is in service now. Otherwise this is an amazing little device. I decided that it is time to take steps towards to a more stable ROM. Phone has Knox and it is still 0x0. Manufactured in 2013 and bought in 2014 so support has definitely gone. Therefore I am not really keen on Knox status but would be great to keep 0x0.
I am a Hungarian user and I would like to use Hungarian language on the phone. I see some ROM recommendation here. Is that true for Hungarian language as well? What about different region, modem or so? Are these ROMs working on my device? Is it possible to revert my phone to any factory version? I am not familiar with flashing ROM on this phone but read some tutorials and more or less trained.
Hi,
I'm on Exodus (+ Gapps pico) & very happy by the quality of this rom. (I haven't tried many other roms though)
I've flashed at least 7 ROMs at this point, and I have experienced nothing but boot-loops, crashes, camera issues, and random reboots. Each time that I have tried a ROM, I would have to eventually switch back to stock ROM because of the bugs. So my question to you all is, is there ANY ROM out there that has no common bugs like wifi connectivity issues, gps issues, boot loops, camera issues, etc.? I really want to find a stable rom for this phone because the stock rom is unbearably laggy and I know that this phone can be a lot faster than it is acting.
Thank you so much for at least reading this, and if you can give me an extremely stable rom, then I would be very grateful
Using cm12.1 March nightly
Hello, I have recently got this phone and mine is a d2tmo, so I searched many roms and checked out their comments section, but couldn't find any official cm12.1 topics. But did find CM12.1 Rom in the official website.
download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=d2tmo&type=nightly
have been running this rom from past 1 week, I think the battery is not good enough, but overall other issues dont seem to be popping around so freuently. Yes, I recommend it as a daily driver.
P.S: just today, CM13 Nightly has been uploaded, might not be the daily driver, but happy that there's Marshmallow for this 4 year old phone.
I've been using Slimkat 9.0 (KitKat 4.4.4) for over a year now. Fast, stable, bugsfree, minimalistic, easy on battery (24hr+ on 4yr old battery!) & efficient. http://slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/1183-d2lte -- try it u will love it

I had been dirty flashing (without really knowing what that is) the first android 6.0 rom for the S3 and it was going swell til they switched to the cyanogen nightly and everything broke on me, random restarts, Snapchat front camera never worked. But thank you for the recommendation, I flashed it (clean flash this time) and everything works and it's my daily driver now
Hi guys,
I have a One X international that I'm reviving and playing with. It has the latest Sense firmware with 4.2.2, and I have installed TWRP 3.0.2, rooted it, and installed Xposed framework. I'm looking to flash a ROM that's stable, retains all the features, is AOSP based, and is newer than 4.2.2. So far I've seen many 4.2.2 ROMs, and I've also seen CM12 which is Lollipop based, but seems to be missing quite a few features. Are there any ROMs that fulfil my criteria?
I have been running SlimLP and XenonHD perfectly fine. Both are AOSP based.

The one x never had good battery life. It was a pure flop. Anyway its not much better than any other roms. But yet slightly better than cm based roms. Cm based rom has a history of draining the one x.
Before I get started I want to say I have a brand new battery in the phone. If your battery has aged these numbers are probably a bit optimistic.
With gsm radio on I get about 2 and a half days of battery life. Three days of deep sleep time if it lays on the table.
With gsm radio off but wifi on. Which I currently uses mine for. I get a week of battery life in deep sleep if it lays on the table.
But I turn mine off when Im done. The nice thing about this is that I charge my phone only about once a month.
Screen on time...dunno. I can't remember the last time i checked this.

This is new for android. A different way of partitioning the internal storage was introduced not long ago. Older devices that don´t have this partition table needs to be modified in order to work with newer roms.
Not going to far into details the thing you need to do is to flash the latest twrp. And go to wipe>wipe data. And type "yes". And you´re done with that.
Once you done this and rebooted the phone. You can flash roms as you would normaly do.
Twrp: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-x/orig-development/twrp-htc-one-x-t3429300

I've been running crDroid 5.1.1 on the old hox, and apart from some random reboots it works. Development ended long time ago, so there are surely better roms.
I'll be hanging round and waiting for the Android 7.1.1 Rom for this beautiful device.

Hi guys!
Im going to buy xiaomi mi6 soon, so i want you to share with me your opinions about custom roms you used. Could you tell me what rom is the least bugged and gives me the most comfortable work with this device? Maybe the global stable is? Generally im looking for the best rom, and them futures.
If you are keeping bootloader locked then go for global beta most likely.
If you will unlock then the stable ROMs are based on 7.1.2.
AOSPA has a good reputation but LineageOS 14 is about to go official for Sagit.
The 8.1 ROMs are stable enough for most uses and so far I had no issues. Just waiting for Oreo kernel sources from Xiaomi for more stability.
There is no overall best ROM. Just the best for you.
Most people here don't like MIUI though.
Its alright but for anyone who's used to AOSP style ROMs they will not feel at home using it.
Its like an iOS splice of Android leaning more heavily to Android.

MIUI gives the best experience for me, most of time I flash weekly ROM's from Xiaomi.eu. They have stable too, if you don't want to flash every week and you don't mind trying new features. Xiaomi.eu team do a great job and sometimes fix some issues with official ROM's.
You have more MIUI based ROM's like Globe Rom, you can customize before downloading and Epic Rom I'm using this week.
If you like AOSP 'flavour' you can try Resurrection Remix (RR) very customizable via settings, and the classic Lineage OS (the old Cyanogen Mod).
Give a try some of them an tell us you experience
Enviado desde mi MI 6 mediante Tapatalk
MIUI Global Stable - Stock ROM back in May, pretty okay, except battery drain was pretty bad. About 80-100mA drain during standby
Xiaomi.eu - the first non-official ROM I use, but still a MIUI-based. At least they give consistent weekly update and improvement. Battery drain problem was fixed here. But alas, I still hate MIUI's notification handling. The moment AOSP-based ROM pop, I made a switch, which is
LineageOS 14 by Xiaobai - first AOSP based ROM for Mi6. It was pretty good. I used LOS14 on my LG G2 back then, so it was pretty much as good as it can get
Lineage 15.0 by NisseCool/UnknownDev420 - Probably one of the first Oreo/non-MIUI ROM available here. Still lots of bugs, but usable. But phone gets really hot (up to 47c during load). Project is getting less update since December. Then finally I made a jump to
crDroid (Android 8.1) by Verevka - It has all the bugs in LOS15.0 fixed and have the goodness of MIUI camera. The downside right now is that QC3.0 isn't working. You're capped at 1500mA charging instead of 3000mA, which is pretty okay considering it'll get fixed and the ROM is still getting updated regularly.
Thanks guys, you are really helpfull. The roms you described have OTA update future? I like to enjoy with installing custom roms etc. but i dont want to manually update os after all updates.
I think Epic ROM from MrRaines is the only custom ROM we have here that has OTA. Though I've never tried it before.
Which rom do you guys think has the best battery performance?? I am using RR now and getting a SoT of around 7 hrs to %20
---------- Post added at 01:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:56 PM ----------
Did anyone try the flymeOS that is new for mi6
rn im using MIUI global beta with android 8.0.0 and very smooth here. However, as soon as official Lineage OS is out im installing it. Ive already tested other custom roms such as AEX and another one based on android 8 (not miui) and i was very happy although i left due to poor camera and some bug which didnt allow me to update one app precisely which i used, so had to go back
for now im on miui eu stable.Bugs free battery is very good and ofc is fast.
