Buy only d855 version as a result you will lots of dev support....also. Have a easy ota update....d858 only have dual sim thats it

i think there'll be a huge battery performance difference between dual sim&single sim. you should consider that. maybe you can find another option with dual sim and better battery performance.

I have 3GB ram, 32GB, and dual sim. and battery is really nice... performance is better, and OTA updates are the same. (D856)

Thats not true. I got both, dual and single sim. and its the same thing. plus the dual have 1GB ram extra and 16GB extra storage. and extra sim slot. in conclusion dual sim is better.

I also have a dual sim. No such difference. Just yes due to dual sim it will take up some more battery. but still there is no difference I will

Problem with sim 1 on HTC Desire 816 dual sim
Recently I got a hold of a HTC desire 816 dual sim, and when i inserted my "DIY" nano sim, the pins caught up and now they are broken. Now, I realize there is another sim slot, but it doesn't support 3g. So can I somehow make the phone think sim 2 is actually sim 1 slot, or maybe you have a better solution
P.S. I have a rooted phone with stock ROM
have you tried this as a work around?
I know It's quite tedious but if it works as a work around let me know. trying it out myself now

Dual-Sim G4 questions

So I decided to buy a G4.
I know about the boot loop issue, but LG fixes it if it happens, so that's okay.
My Samsung devices all had issues (multiple), so yeah.
Anyway, I have a couple of simple questions regarding the dual sim edition.
They cost the same in the country, so I figured I might buy the dual sim one...but...
- Does it have the same, latest (MM) firmware?
- Do you get any annoying notification if you just use ONE sim card in it?
- Does it still have a microSD card slot besides the dual SIM slot?
The thing is, MNOs are becoming popular in my country.
So you can finally get cheap mobile internet, but on a separate sim card, of course.
This way I could just toss in a second SIM once I get a good deal, and hook my mobile data on that.
Thank you guys!

need help which one is better single or dual?

Hey guys!
I am looking to buy the Note 7 as you know it comes with two versions the single N930F and Dual SIM version the N930FD, currently I am with AT&T and I using the Note 5 SM-N920I with NO problem. My question is, If I need a custom development support and using the phone in the (US and Asia) which variant should I get the single or the dual?
Are both models working smoothly with a custom ROM without any trouble specially the dual sim N930FD?
thanks,
Any suggestion?
The Dual Sim version of the phone allows you to insert two sim cards. If you move between Asia and the US a lot, then it could be a great option for you. But, you can't use the SD card and both sim cards at the same time.

Single and dual sim -> how to switch tu dual ?

Hello,
I recently purchased a ZX2 compact. I was expecting a dual sim version, but in fact it is a single sim
Except the dual sim, all other features are exactly the same. Is there any chance in changing the sim trolley by a dual version that i will have acces to the dual sim ? Firmware are different ?
thanks to all for your advices

Not possible. The hardware reader and radio is different. Same philosophy as why using an film ribbon adapter to layer dual sim and microsd to use all 3 inside dual sim active simultaneously does not work because there is a hardware switch that restart the phone and only enable one reader at a time.
Hi, there's 3 Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact variants:
H8314 - SINGLE SIM CARD
H8324 - DUAL SIM CARD - Hybrid style( micro sd card or the second sim card)
SO-05K - JAPAN VERSION - I don't know if its dual.
I hope you can figure it out which model do you have it.
