GoSMS notification settings

Anyone having problems choosing a different sms incoming sound when you select system in the notification settings? Its meant to bring up list of system notification sounds but it dont do anything. You can only use default sound.

And how do we change this default sound.

Got this problem too.. Guess we should wait untill devs fix it!

Fulmics 6.1 missing notifications sound from NEXT SMS

I just installed Fulmics 6.1 onto Lg G3 D855/16GB.
All working nice except I lost notification sounds in Next SMS.
I don't get any sound when new ones arrives, if don't catch the screen that lights up for the sneak preview of SMS I miss the new SMS.
I tried to set the sound in both handcent > settings > notification as well as in Android settings > sound and notifications.
I am not in silent mode, yet notifications are still not playing sounds.
Any ideas?

To clarify things, I am not expecting this to be Fulmics causing this. More that now that I got both android 6 and fulmics 6.1 at the same time the GUI changed a lot and there might be other ways to adjust notification sound then what I have found.

I've tried all the settings I can think of.
I started out with Android settings, making sure notification sound was enabled.
Then I chose to set special sound for apps, and chose next sms.
To be certain I changed to the sound to a mp3 file in my download folder.
Still no sound.
Went into next sms > settings > All > Notification & Reminder > Notification settings > Notification Sound
Here I can see the sound has changed to myfile.mp3
Still no notification sounds.
Browse and google for answers and find a page telling me to reverse all things in sounds and notifications to NO SOUNDS. Well I tried, I even tried to follow the program and reboot for each change I made. After several reboots I eventually got to the part where I again chose to turn on notification sounds, and did the final reboot. Puh. STILL NO SOUND when I receive sms/txt.
I've almost pulled all my hair from my head in pure frustration, I can't walk around missing txt's because my stupid phone suddenly don't give me notifications. Try to tell that to your boss, no you see my phone don't give me audio notifications when you text me. Sure my boss wont buy into that.
Pls help.

Issues regarding g3 notification and balance reduction?

#1 : I just started using G3,again works fine. I have only one problem,i always keep whatsapp notification sound different from the default notification sound (from phone settings). Whenever i change the notification sound of whatsapp it automatically changes the notification sound from phone's settings. Anybody knows how to fix this? Because i mostly pay attention to whatsapp notificatios only,it's really hard to know when i hear the notification sound to know if it's any other notification or WhatsApp.
#2: Another problem i have is whenever i restart my phone,after it turns on back somehow my balance reduces.

Notification Channels in Android O

So I'm having a problem with setting a default notification sound and changing the sound of text messages, mail and even the sound of a screenshot taken.
Firstly I set the default sound to the Obscura.
Then I went and changed the sound of messages in Allo to the Pumice.
And then I went and checked the default sound and it's magically set to Pumice as well.
The same process as described above works on OnePlus 3 running Oreo.
I already did a factory reset, the phone is brand new (just got a free replacement unit).

Correct that is how it works at the moment. I know some guys are working on it to change that. HTC 's code seems limited in this right now

SMS notifications without sound

Hello, everybody, i'm experiencing this very boring thing: message notifications (sms) or WhatsAPP notifications doesn't have sound anymore. I searched everywhere and the sound is selected in all options. This this is driving me crazy ! Any help ? I have android 9 and security patch from March 2020.

Clearing app storage and cache fixed it for me with sms, should do the same for WA

Didn't work. Thanks, anyway.

Happened the same, but not only sms in my case.
After the installation of A10, some sounds got messed up and they appear as missing from the OS. I went into the SMS app notifications, and changed manually the ringtone for SMS which is now independent from "notifications" from the sound setting. It works just fine right now and SMS audio and vibration alert are working just fine. Check it out. As for the rest of the broken apps with no notification sound, I had to do the same from the notification setting, or from app internal setting.

Same problems when trying to add sounds in each app. And kept getting Android.Media.Process stopped. Went to Apps and Notifications in Settings and visited each app there and changed notification sounds. All seems to work.
