[Q]Stuck in TWRP Bootloop - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

[EDIT:] Device is not bricked as per previous post..have managed to get back to TWRP.
Now, to my earlier issue. I am stuck in a TWRP loop. I have flashed the AOSP 6.0 ROM, reboots into TWRP. I have wiped and restored my backup, still boots into TWRP. Should I try a different ROM or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Have the same problem. Help please!

Boot to recovery and restore a backup. If you didn't make a backup, wipe and flash something that works or Odin to stock.

If you can still get into twrp then you haven't wiped everything and its no problem to get it going again. There is an option called mount in twrp, with the device connected to a pc via usb click mount, this allows you to access the internal device storage from the pc and easily transfer a Rom over to it which you can then go back to twrp main menu and install. Always remember to do some research if you don't fully understand what it is you're doing before you do it. Next time you might end up with a brick.

ok sorry for not saying i can boot into twrp ok yes i can still boot into twrp v2.2.2 i can mount i tried loading a custom rom i loaded hellfire and hellkat but i just get sent into a boot loop i tried flashing twrp 2.6 but it stays the same v2.2.2 i have been looking for stock rom to flash but cannot find one any help to get this twrp updated or a new rom to take on this version thanks in advance for any help
Might be stuck on fastboot after you flash, I don't have the kindle fire anymore so I'm a little unsure on the details, but it seems like you could get the stock firmware from Amazon as a full download update...at least I remember doing it a while back. What does the bootloop look like after you flash?

Download a jellybean rom with gapps. Flash both. Boot up and get Flashify from the store. Flash twrp 2.6.3.2 using Flashify. Reboot to twrp to verify it updated. Now you can flash a kitkat rom, with the appropriate gapps.

Bootloop caused by SU binary update fail via TWRP. Please help!

I have an LG G3 running the latest CM 13 nightly with TWRP for a recovery.
Last night I went into the SU app on my phone and it said it needed an update (I was not connected the internet). I clicked update via TWRP and it went into TWRP. It ran some code and now it is stuck in a bootloop. It will boot to the CM logo with the pulsing light and will get no further. I've tried wiping cache and dalvic cache and that didn't work. Tried fixing permissions and that didn't work. Also tried factory reset via TWRP and that did not work also. Please help.
Try reflashing your rom

Flash an earlier build of su. When prompted select normal "NOT TWRP"

Somebody please help me out!

Hard Bricked? Please Help!

Hey guys,
first what happened.
I was running the latest CM 14.1 nightly on my oneplus 3. Then I saw the new Video from xda on youtube. I installed substratum and a theme. But after rebooting I got a bootloop.
Tried resetting via cm recovery did not work. Then tried resetting via fastboot. Also did not work device won't boot up.
So I tried flashing the original boot.img and system.img. Flashing itself worked great. Phone gets to the OP and Android-Logo then screen goes black and device turnes off. Same with the twrp-recovery I tried to flash. Won't boot into recovery.
What can I do/try?
Please help thx

flash the custom recovery for CM or sideload a official oneplus rom.

Need help, stuck on recovery after 4.0.3 OTA

Hey all, so I did a stupid thing and did the OTA while I still had TWRP for recovery. Now I can only boot to recovery and am getting the dm_verity error. I have attempted to flash the stock recovery via fastboot, but no difference, still reboots into TWRP. I also tried flashing the full 4.0.2 and full 4.0.3 images, but same result. Any ideas?
which version of twrp were you on? try reflashing the latest modded twrp by eng.stk or the 3.0.4.1.
I am on twrp-3.0.2-1.28-oneplus3.img

Try flashing the latest one by eng.stk and then do a clean flash of the ROM you want.

I flashed the 3.0.4-1 TWRP from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/recovery-official-twrp-oneplus-3-3t-t3543391 before I saw your last message. Then flashed the 4.0.3 full OTA (can be found in the same thread). One bootloop and everything started up (took about 5 min for first boot). Thanks for your help!
Hi dude, try this recovery (TWRP 3.0.4-1).
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/recovery-official-twrp-oneplus-3-3t-t3543391
OOS 4.0.3 works well on my device with this recovery.
That happened to me once. All i did is turned the phone off completely and let it sit there for couple of seconds and turn it back on. No more recovery bootloop.
And if everything does not help... flash official recovery again and it will work fine. After one boot you can hop back to a RECENT TWRP
