I am running AOKP B35 on my CDMA GNex and when I plug my phone into the computer, nothing happens. It doesn't show up at all on my computer. I am trying to put a theme on there but I can't connect. How do I fix this issue? Any tips would be appreciated!
Do you have fast charge mod turned on?
If so turn it off, problem sorted.
I did have fast charge turned on. Thanks for your help. Man, do I feel like an idiot... *facepalm*
I have turned fastcharge off and it still wont connect. I tried to configure the drivers in Device Manager, but it doesn't even show up there.
go in settings> storage> press menu key> USB computer connection and check that Media Device (MTP) is ticked
That got it. Thanks guys!
I'm trying to get my stock unlocked Taiwanese HOX, JB, (tegra 3) to work with HTC Sync Manager. I saw through another forum that debugging mode had to be turned off. I went into options and unchecked the usb debugging option with the phone both connected and disconnected and it will not stay off. Every time I plug in the phone, it turns USB Debugging back on. I've tried turning developer options off completely, but each and every time, it turns usb debugging mode back on. How do I turn this off!?!?! Its driving me crazy now!
Thanks!
you don't need to turn it off? it will nothing break or so...all will working fine ...
Re
I have the same problem. Every time i plug in my phone to pc usb debugging turns on.
Hey,
unfortunately, my phone won't turn on anymore.
The charging LED is orange but the phone won't turn on anymore.
I tried vol+ and Power but nothinig happens. Also my PC won't recognize it.
Any ideas?? (
So my galaxy nexus won't turn on or go into download mode or anything without connecting the charging cable to it.
Only response I get is when I connect it to charger it shows the battery is charged and then it goes away, I can go into download mode and stuff but as soon as I disconnect the charger, the display turns off. When I plug it in the computer it shows unrecognized usb device and then it goes away then it shows unrecognized device again(this happens in a loop).
how it supposedly got bricked: I was just using phone on a CFW(C-Rom on android 4.4.4), and after changing some voltage settings from some voltage control then applied, and then screen flickered and then it turned off, I turned it back on and everything was working but after 5 seconds same thing happened, then I turned off and on again and still same thing happened, after a few more tries it just stopped turning on ;-;
Fixed, the problem was the battery. All I had to do was replace it with a brand new one.
Yesterday I was listening to a podcast when it suddenly stopped and my earbuds disconnected. The phone appeared to be dead - nothing happened when pressing or long-pressing the power button, and the screen would not turn on. After getting home, I found out it's not completely dead because my PC recognizes it if I plug it in. However, some of the settings seem to have been reset since I no longer have ADB access or bluetooth pairings. It seems to be connected to wifi tho.
So... what are my options? I would like to recover what I can from the storage. The only thing I can think to do right now is let the battery run out (it's not like I can turn it off anyway) and see if anything changes.
Stock ROM, T-Mobile version reflashed to International + Magisk 24.3
Well, today I plugged it into my PC, pressed the power button for a few seconds, and it booted up normally. No idea what happened.
I just had a similar thing happen to me as well. One minute everything was working, then bluetooth started being really weird (connecting and then disconnecting). I told the phone to restart and then nothing. Didn't respond to the power button. Finally, I was able to get into Fastboot and then recovery. From there it was then able to restart normally and I haven't had any issues since.
