my phone will be rooted soon (not s off) does that mean i can install the updates without doing a full RUU?
You can install a RUU or OTA for your region/CID without problems.

hi , my phone is the e9pw also but what about that a55ml? I can't find that on my phone, also its a chinese version. Its rooted but i want to change the rom. What should i do? etc sense version 7.0 android 5.0.2

Yes, i asked one guy who shared RUUs for several HTC devices including A9. He downloaded them from ir-file.com so the website is legit.. so to add more support for our devices. I am thinking to take one month subscription for the site to get the RUUs for us..
but will require support from you guys as well

Hi A55ml is the code name for the device.
My phone was original chnese as well, I'm S-off and changed CID to flash the EU version and done.
When your not S-off, you can try and restore my TWRP backup. Not sure if this will give errors with signals, so make a BackUp from your current rom.

If your in china, and only need your current RUU, ni need to change or to s-off
Other RUU's for china are more base on different coverage like 3G/4G & LTE
Software wise they are the same

Perhaps you had some issues at last Installation of RUU? Root and Unlock your phone for flashing the last Stock ROM, try it.

the issue was there even when the phone was rooted and unlocked ... since purchase
no update option means the option is removed, either custom rom or asshole customer service want to avoid rom update issues

What you have is a custom ROM. So start by determine the actual software version no. for your device. Then search for the right RUU

thank you bro ... will try it out ...
just to add flashing an ruu will delete your ENTIRE sd card (not just user data) so don't forget to back up your music/pics/... I once fell for it.
EDIT: you are running 1.29.415.11, so you can update to 2.17.415.2(released less than a month ago) or stay with your 1.29.415.11

I have a HTC M8 bricked.
I was told it's stock and suddenly stopped turning on. When I connect it to the power, led shows but no screen. I've tried all Power and volume combinations.

It will not work on your htc, it is only for European HTC 10, your Cid number means you have probably Taiwan version of system.

This build has been here on xda for a while. I've flashed it myself. It works fine. However According to majority's opinion it's a leak.

So, contact support and give them that number. And any rom could mean anything, preferably use the HTC stock rom to run sunshine. And as far as i know verizon devices aren't supported.
