Hi !
In the last few months I developed an Music Player for Android. I started, because I didn't find the right one in the Play Store, so I just started to develope my own. I wantedto create a lightweight Music Player, but without missing any important feature. First of all, I did it just for me. Then some friends saw it on my phone and also wanted it. But they all wanted the app to be a little bit different. At some point I decided to try to make the app as customizable as possible. This is probably the main feature now ^^
Long story made short, I would really appreciate if there are some people who want to test myMusic Player and give me some feedback, even if it's negative :fingers-crossed:
Some of it's feauters :
Supports standard music formats: MP3, WAV, OGG
Folder playback
Sleep Timer
Create and edit playlists
Equalizer
Bass Boost
Customizable widgets
Tag editor
Here is the Play Store Link : Wittex Music Player
As I already mentioned, I would really appreciate any kind of feedback !
Thank you !

Dude not able to download it. It says "This item isn't available in your country. "

Sorry ! I forgot to change this - But I did now. Should be available in all countries now. Thanks for the hint !!

Great app. Very Simple
Sent from my GT-I9195 using XDA Free mobile app

Doing its job well

Thank you guys !
I tried to keep it pretty simple, but with the possibility to customize as much as possible
If you have any suggestions or if you encounter any issues, feel free to contact me anytime.

Great! If have to sort the music name was perfect.

Great app, works fine on MM on my p8lite. Just one question, is it possible to make the icons of the coverart a littel bigger or show the playing song with coverpicture in fullscreen. That would help when interacting with the app in a carmount while driving

Hi!
Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate that!
I'm going to implement an fullscreen coverart activity in one of the next releases. :good:

Sweet app
Looking good and simple.
Keep up the good work!

Isn't as easy as I thought, so I probably need some more time. But I'm working on it. Hope you can wait a little bit @hamudistan.

Don't worry, it isn't that urgent. Thanks anyway for your efforts

OK app isn't bad at all. So far just noticed the song rating bit is going from right to left rather than left to right. But what is the value of the song rating since its not been shown anywhere?
Also you might want to add a little padding to the settings page as its too close to the edge and might be difficult to see on all this new Edge phones.
Then you can do better on your app icon
cheers

One quick question, why would your music app need a permission to make phone calls, and why would the app not work if the permission is denied?

Permissions are needed for incoming calls to interup music player and when you make an outgoing call to stop player during call

Nice music app. Some of my album art is missing but I will fix it with the itag app. App is real fast and real loud curious to see what the future updates will be. Definitely a nice find. Would like to see a better widget.

Not working very nice together with CM9 player. Makes it force close.
Very nice and cool player. Thanks man.
Love this player!!! if its 2 dollars or lesser im paying for it sure!
Pretty sweet UI, certainly unique. I'm not a fan of the font used but if the font is all I can complain about that's saying something. Will certainly give this a few rounds round the block.
Thanks for the heads up.
i always thought playerpro with the pure white skin looked the cleanest. it also now has support for the native ICS lockscreen controls.
but now after uploading my library to google music, not bothering with third party players
This app reads personal information and sensitive log data. Why does this music player need that?
Poweramp and others music players do not ask for this permission!
I got a question
What is the difference between this player and the original player??
looks interesting.. i just don't see the point. spotify and stock music synced with cloud is solid.
Tried this player on both my Gnex & Razr - It's not as good as Poweramp on either phone.
This is a pretty good player, the lock screen is pretty cool. That being I am having problems with the lock screen when I want to access the phone. I turn on the screen, then select unlock. After that it takes me to facial recognition only to fail but not let me enter my pattern. I have to reboot my phone so I could get into it. Because of this I had to uninstall. The lock screen problems seems to happen when playing music, but I have always been able to find a way around it. Not this time.
looking forward to more development on this. already using it and i like it.
bk
Edit: working nicely now

Dude this concept is awesome. It should be a long work though, and will need a complete framework integration, plus there's gonna be some problematic parts (Perhaps 30% of frameworks/core code should be rewritten to match)... hmm, if you have any progress, or RSS feed, let me know I will suscribe for sure.
Btw, don't show it to OEM's or they will steal it

Some features is limited but available on samsung touch wiz phone.
But this is idea is better and need to be incorporated on next HTC phones..

Hey guys,
Recently released 'DI.FM' for Windows 8 to the App Store, a Unofficial Digitally Imported Radio app. I imagine a good portion of XDA'ers are electronic music fans, so in turn I felt it would be wise to post up here and get some feedback.

What does 'DI.FM' look like?

Looking forward to any feedback anyone might have. Thanks in advance everyone!
This looks really great!
My only suggestion would be to do something about the little "EQ bars" in the top right when the music is playing. Maybe instead of being static they could actually show the real levels for the music, that would be cool.
Thanks for the free app!
Thanks!!! Just great!!

[APP] [4.2+] Transparent Widget

Hi there,
Some people asked for something like that: A way to disable all lockscreen widgets in Jelly Bean.
This is a simple solution for the "problem":
An app that contains just a transparent widget.
Programming it was no big deal, but it might help some of you. Here you can see it "in action":

It should work on every ROM and every device as long as it is Android 4.2 or above.
I hope that I am not overstepping by making a request. I have been looking everywhere for a blank home screen widget but all there seems to be are lock screen widgets.. Could you pretty please make it so that this can also be added to the home screen? Is that a difficult thing to do?
Edit: apologies, I found something seconds after posting this..

Hi, I'm sorry for not replying earlier but I'm quite busy at the moment.
No, you don't ask for too much. That's a quite easy change and I'll do it as soon as I've got some spare time.
@Phenom2122: You can find the download of the homescreen version in the first post now.
I don't really know why the apk is so much bigger than the first one but I don't have the drive to search for the reason. However, it works perfectly. Enjoy it.

Very nice dude thank you very much! There are certain launchers that don't allow you to have a blank default home screen, this sorts that out

To provide that permission. Just pull down your notification shade down to the quick tiles and hit the gear icon. Once in the settings menu; click the magnify glass and search for "permissions", then click the option "App Permissions". Under the "Advanced" header you will see the menu "Draw over other apps"; find the app in question under there and provide it the required permission.

Also, this app doesn't seem to fully support the N5X either. Seems like we can only really use this if you're on speaker phone and that doesn't seem like it would provide very good quality.
