VS985 - CM13 - LTE not working - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
What happened :
I am using VS985 and have been using cyanogenmod(updating to latest nightlies - CM13) from the last few months .
Few days ago i couldn't update to latest nightly because of unknown baseband version. So i, stupidly enough, flashed 24B modem. And was able to update to latest nightly but LTE no longer worked. I figured i need to flash 35B modem. So i ended up flashing bootstack from xdabebb from this link
No luck with LTE reception.
What have i tried till now:
I've tried doing clean installs. Also tried flashing an older 12.1 CM version. Have tried to change preferred netwrok through *#*#4636*#*# . Rebooting , flashing stuff again and again.
Checked APN setting and everything.
End Result:
LTE is not working. Have i messed up the radio?. Do i need to KDZ back to stock and then flash CM again?. Please help

Solved!
Writing this for anyone who might encounter the same problem.
I flashed kdz stock 10B, root and flashed TWRP and flashed CM13 again.
Everything is new and fine again
LTE working and everything.

How did you do that

[Q] Note 2 bricked

Today i flashed CM 11 with CWM and after rebooting the baseband and IMEI were gone. I tried to flash the baseband but nothing happened. I then tried to flash the stock rom touchwiz through ODIN and it failed. Now the phone reboots asking to connect to KIES and do a recovery which i can't perform.
Any clues about?
Thank you in advance,
Davide

Thanks for the prompt reply. The Rom I flashed is the 4.4.2 snapshot.
In the meantime i flashed this pit file from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2137008
and now the CYM is back and working but still no baseband.
Is there any way i can reinstall the stock rom ? is the partition a problem?
I dont have a backup of the EFS folder (I made it once but i cant find it)
EDIT: CWM is installed and working
is your IMEI Same..?
i assume there are several reasons, it can be a simple fix by installing a stock 4.4 KK which will eliminate the problem you are facing, iin past week, i done alot of experiences on my bricked note 2, specially the failed PIT flashed, i tried couple of them but at the end the only thing turned the phone in right direction was stock KITKAT
you can find that in the the post i posted earlier.
i am 100% sure you will get your phone back to life.
also remember to when you are done flashing go to stock recovery and wipe data and cache. It is needed after re-partiton to form the partitions correctly
edit: best keep a nand of your current rom as well
4.4.2

Exactly. Flashing the official stock rom based on kitkat 4.4.2 (which has been released few days ago I believe) solved the problem. I'll try to flash CM tomorrow (tonight get.cm is not reachable and can't download the android app).
Thank you!

Just wanted to ask you something. I installed the Nordic version of the latest Android update which is at the moment the only one available and I have the impression that the voice quality is not that good. I was wondering if this may depend on the baseband version installed on this one. I'm from Italy and kitkat 4.4 is still not available in my country. Flashing a different baseband may change the situation? If so, Is there a baseband more compatible with this touchwiz version and the Italian telco providers?
Thank you again,
Davide

[Q] flashing radios

At the moment I have a bone stock phone. I know how to go back to ZV8, and root and install a custom recovery. I am familiar with flashing a rom and then the gapps. My issue is this.
Every time I try to install a rom where I have to flash a new radio, it will boot up successfully, but I wont have any data what so ever. No phone calls, no texts. Nothing. WiFi works like a mofo, but that's it. I have a couple of questions I am sure someone will be able to answer. If root and install TWRP, do I have to flash the radio and rom and gapps in a certain order? I have tried radio, rom, gapps rebooted...no signal. I tried Rom gapps radio rebooted and still no signal. So I went back to my trusty ol ZV8 tot file. Then I let the phone get the OTAs to get to ZVC and then I rooted, but then FreeGee can't install TWRP, so I am back to stock unrooted ZV8. I would really appreciate any help in this area. Thanks guys.
*EDIT* under about phone it always says Baseband is Unknown
Nevermind guys, I resolved it. The issue was easily resolved. I went back to ZV8 this morning at work, and took the sprint OTAs to bring me to ZVC, then rooted with iorooot, and and then installed the Autorec.apk and it updated my kernal and installed TWRP to ZVC. I was exhausted last night and my brain wasn't working.

flashing lollipop update

i need help here. here's my scenario. im using lg g3 d855 with kitkat 4.4.2. i got an OTA notification update to lollipop (v20b SEA), since im rooted i tried to flash this using the lg flash tool with the correct kdz file. i was able to update it to lollipop and everything seems fine; however since i find it pretty big(for dpi) and also not rootable yet, i tried to downgrade again to kitkat (v10k) and it went fine. i was able to root it using purpledrake l, then install twrp to revert back to my nandroid backup. so overall, everything went back to normal.
after 3 days, i decided to go thru to lollipop again
so i did the flashing of the update, but after all of this and during the initial setup, i noticed that mobile network isnt working. i tried to ignore this and just continue to finish the setup. after all is done, and im on the homescreen. i noticed that i dont have the navigation button. also when i tried to switch on the mobile network, it was grayed out. i tried all the possible method of reflashing back this lollipop updte(even redownloading a fresh copy of the kdz file), but to no avail.
question is how to flash back this lollipop update with all functions working?
any help will be much appreciated. sorry for the long story!

LG G3 stuck at splash screen after kernel / modem update

I am in the process of upgrading my LG G3 (Verizon) phone from stock Android 4.4.2, baseband 10B to Cyanogenmod 12.1. I rooted my phone successfully and installed TWRP. I got an baseband not supported failure when I attempted to install Cm 12.1. So, I downloaded baseband and kernel file 12. This was successful. However, when I tried to install CM again, it failed. I noticed that it was still a baseband issue and that the script was looking for an even higher baseband version. Again, I downloaded the kernel and modem zips. This time for baseband 35B. It seemed to flash successfully, but after reboot, it's stuck at LG splash screen.
I would appreciate some assistance.
Thank you in advance

is this what a soft brick is?

Okay so have a I747 AT&T Galaxy S3. Had CM13 running fine on NE4 baseband. Decided to upgrade baseband and flashed NJ1 then NJ2, rebooted and everything was fine.
Well then I decided to check out a different ROM, and tried installing these via recovery and then I get stuck on that AT&T splash screen:
d2att_I747UCUFNJ2.zip (didn't work) so then d2att_I747UCUFNJ2_Deodex_Rooted_KnoxFree_Debloated.zip
I thought I was able to install those since I just upgraded my baseband, but my phone did not like it!
I also noticed that in download mode, in red there was a "warranty bit: 1", not sure if that's relevant?
So I can still get into download and recovery, but any restoring CM13 from backups or return to stock results in a bootloop. How can I get CM13 back?
Can I flash back to stock with Odin and start over to fix this? Is this the file I should use?= I747UCDLK3_I747ATTDLK3_ATT.zip or this one?= I747UCUEMJB.zip
Or will those brick my device since I'm quite certain I'm on NJ2 firmware?
OR should i try reinstalling a certain CM version with certain gapps?
What can I do? I'm really freaking out here, everything I have is on 2fa! Please help!
Was the bootloader updated when the baseband was updated?
turns out im just an idiot and installed the wrong gapps.
