Hi all,
I am currently running a version of cloudyg3 based on KK on a D855 and I was wondering which is the best way to flash to the MM update.
There are 2 threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-d855-30b-images-kdz-flashables-t3282012
Which version should i flash so that i will have the least amount of problems?
I have a version of twrp/cwm which i will update to the latest version before i flash anything.
Also are there any kernels that support f2fs?
Will i be able to restore data from a nandroid backup from a KK rom to MM?
Thanks for any and all help

1) Use second thread. Only flash /system and /boot.
2) Nebula should support f2fs.
3) Potentially yes. May be buggy.

If a stock Lollipop update was available (maybe in Poland, but I think that is the only place currently), then this might apply to you. It seems that you might be able to root the 5.0 ROM, but you would most definitely lose Bump and the ability to flash a custom recovery or ROM.
Any Lollipop ROM that is being floated around the forums already has a kernel that has been modified and rooted. It does not apply in those cases.
Can anyone confirm that it's working?:good:
So I'm planning to root and flash a custom lollipop ROM on LG G3 (F400s and build number 10t). I've rooted and installed custom ROMs in a couple of devices before, but apparently there's a number of versions of this device. So my question is, does the process of rooting/installation of custom ROMs vary from one version to another or is the same for all versions? I've seen some tutorials for the D855 version, all I want to know is can I go through the same steps for the F400S version. Is ChupaChups ROM worth trying? Also, do I have to download a separate gapps if I plan to flash the ChupaChups ROM? Pardon the noobness fellas.
Edit: build number.
Hello
I have an D855 with TWRP, Cloudy 2.5 & Gabriel kernel install on my phone and the kitkat bootloader for not necessary have TWRP bumped.
I would like to know what is the last KitKat ROMs (AOSP/based stock/AOKP) and if its possible, know what is the last modem that i can install on KK ROM..
Why i want to downgrade android version ? I have test all needed fonctionality that i want and i think LP is pretty bad (its my opinion..), and i have a secondary question: about the battery life on KK, its really better (with any ROM) on LP or its depend of the kernel & ROM (KK or LP) ?
Thanks.

Maybe you will be happy with cloudy rom for lg g3 (pure stock, with lg g4 features…)

Thanks,
Can i flash directly from twrp the 20w stock rom considering that i have a custom kernel and a custom rom lollipop installed?
If you want to return the stock rom (not cloudy one, stock g3) you cant flash it from twrp but if you want to use the cloudyg3 rom, you can flash it from twrp but you also need to do wipe from twrp

Yes you can flash 20w from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
directly from twrp even with custom kernel.
That zip comes with its own kernel. Ofc you still need to wipe cache and data.
Don't mind what the guy above said, it seems he didn't even read prevoius post.
And just so you know the ROM above is rooted as well. If you wish complete unroot as well go restore via kdz or unroot with SuperSU.
Hi guys, I'm currently on Marshmallow stock firmware with lineage os 14.1 as dual boot rom (I used dual boot patcher) . I have a LG g4 h815 with unlocked bootloader and twrp. I would like to downgrade my primary stock rom to lollipop (I don't mind wiping also lineage os rom). Can I use twrp to do so instead of LgUp? I need a flashable zip of the lollipop stock rom, where can I find it? Do I need to flash something else like modem or bootloader zips? Is there any custom rom for lollipop? For those wondering, I want to downgrade because both lineage and stock MM are awful for gaming, I can't get acceptable performances even with geometry dash. Thanks in advance for your help.
No one? I don't think it's a difficult question for the most experienced Android modders...
