Today we bring you a G4 port with fully ported UX 4.0
CheloZTeaM port G4 full UX 4.0 + apps v10 and UX 4.0+ beta v1
We decided to call it “beta” because it has some FCs in the toggles and some other minor issues. We are working to fix these problems so then we can get out the “beta” word from the name… The only thing it has of beta is the name.
ROM details:
Based on 5.0.2 lollipop
Fully ported UX 4.0 from the LG G4.
100% functional SmartSettings.

Being a full G4 port, we have:
- G4 settings
- Incoming call animation and call connection from the G4
- Full SmartSettings (If you don’t know what it is, for example you can assign where is your house and it will automatically enable/disable your Wi-Fi/sound profile/Bluetooth according to your config and if you’re in your house or not, totally customizable and fully working from the G4.)
- G4 launcher theme
I'm probably forgetting some things from the G4 or apps from the V10 XD
In the camera we have several options from the V10 like:
Time interval
The ability to resize front-facing camera in dual mode
We adapted the V10 camera binaries to the G2 so slow motion, time interval, 4k and 1080p @60fps will no longer be so dark.
There are several V10 features we had to cap because our hardware could simply not handle it, but we have to say that the postprocessing from the V10 it’s very superior to the G4.

Miracast doesn’t work
When you tap “more” in network settings, it force closes.
Having the G4 system, G2 multiwindow doesn’t work. We also tried the G4 multiwindow but neither works. We are trying to adapt it to this new system.
I put some temporal fixes to some FCs in #2 post.

ROM was tested several times by us, even now while it was being uploaded we tested it again…

Temporal fixes for the FCs
Temporal fixes for the FCs:
First of all, we didn’t fix these FCs because we gave more relevance
to other things… For example, I think Wi-Fi and calls connection are way more important than dualwindow or the FC in settings. Now that we have the port, we’ll focus in the FCs, primarily the toggles.
- FCs in toggles:
Hold the toggle until it takes you to the settings of that specific toggle.
- Camera freezes when you move to the front-facing camera:
Enable/disable flash or exit the app and enter again.
- Miniview and Shortcut Key give FC when you enable/disable them:
These two options are enabled from the start so this won’t be a problem.
- FC when you tap “more” in network settings:
Hold the data toggle until it takes you to your mobile data settings.

Delete the "cust" folder, which is in roots. In 802 models I forgot to do it from the script.
Ugly icon background for me too. it seems like bug. D802.

I found bug on D802. When i run camera app, then every 10 seconds app makes fast reload. Result is that i cant make video longer then 10 sec.
Edit again, mybe camera is reloading becouse my google play is still installing apps. I will try later. Btw thak for very nice rom and for 100GB drive space, worked for me.
Does it support XCam with advanced drivers?

Whats The Status Of The 4.4 Build?
ROM installs fine and boot up to the point where we can hear the Android system sound. However the system isn't viewable on the phone. Hopefully it will be here soon?
What Is The Difference Between This ROM and Others?
I used to own many Samsung devices and I am going for a Wanam ROM approach. We use a stock base and just keep adding add-ons and updates over the ROM instead of doing new builds. Also there will be a lot of flexibility with the ROM making it your one unique.
Why Is The ROM Odexed?
Well, I am glad you asked. My ROM's promise super stability and odexed Android systems are more stable and faster than deodexed ROM's. Yes you cannot edit deodexed pre-installed applications but I like my ROM's to be stock. All edits will be done when cooking the ROM.

This is a proper port of it. Its uploading right now. Yeah just wait lol. This is basically an english version standard with tweaks and edits to make it faster. But I will be adding a mod store and OTA to it. Im just making it work for all variants so Im just going through the list. The original developer has helped me alot with his release so I thought i'd share

English as main language. Not Chinese/Korean or from the F320 variants. All other languages are in there too. English because I have D802 from UK. Other languages are in there also

Personally I do not think the homescreen is resized correctly from xhdpi to xxhdpi. I will resize that now but when this is uploaded let me know about the game problem I will look into it. I have not got a G2 now as I didn't like the 'requests' that came from many users so know I have an excuse not to develop anything . Once I release 4.4 with the other developers I am out.

I am glad there is a high quality somewhat stock rom with all the tweaks. Been looking for something like this ever since kitkat was released.

The best dpi to use, that I've discovered after many trials and errors, is 420 which is closest to actual ppi of the screen.
It's neither magnified nor scaled down!
I hope you make a version with 420 and I'll be the first to test it

yeah, 480 is too big for us
but.. it's not as easy as that to make full rom with that dpi,
there's so many LG framework that I should change
and many LG Apps resource that I mod to work with 380dpi..
I think I will not make any other dpi than 380 for G2
380 is the lowest you can go on stock lg or stuff like LG keyboard will force close

This is Candy5. Built straight from CyanogenMod source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses.

Candy5 is in early stages and will inherit CyanogenMod bugs and issues. But some we have resolved ourselves.
The base has been tested and passed most users needs for a Daily Driver.

It's menu. In candy interface you can customise ROM and enable/disable options

I think it's working nice (in sound and notification you can configure), I'm sure this feature work in crDroid.
Yes you can use Render with this ROM. Sound is like other 5.0 ROMs. It's based on CM so sound is similar. To improve it you can install Viper4Android or/and render kernel and tune sound in synapse app

1)is the wifi and network works properly like shows some exclamatory mark on network icon in notification bar when wifi is disabled.
2)Rotation is working or not?
3)Are there any FC?
4)Supersu working well or not?
5)Can we restore apps using titanium backup?
6)the back led on g2 shud work for call which has not been seen on any rom for lollipop is it present?
7)Is this rom a daily driver????

Wifi work nice, rotation too with property baseband, some FCs in settings like screen off gesture options, superuser is in settings, TI backup not recommend but if you want you can use about back led i don't know, yeah i think it's daily driver ROM
I found one bug so far in my device.. camera recording make FC. All cameras from Play store to recording video are making same problem.
Rest of functionalities are stable for me... Im Happy.. Looking forward for next updates

ok. now all is fine no more force closes in camera at all after i installed this package of gapps https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=20930. I taken those dierctly from CM12 mod. Works great for me.
By the way. Led on de back of the phone is working for me so far. but only when i making a call. Only not workin' with notification. Rotation is good fast, even faster than i need

For now i notice that you can use your Vol+ - for making photos and record vids but i didnt see any other setings for camera on those buttons. You can use them for music for sure. There is even option in set.
After installing Candy Rom today some bugs bringing to Notice.
1)The google bar on homescreen sometimes becomes blank and only bar is seen no google or google voice icon is seen on that bar.(Screenshot attached)
2)Please include something dat provides to install supersu by users so that titanium backup can be used to restore apps easily bcz its too boring of downalodng all apps from playstore.
3)Back led light does not blink during calling.
4)Could not get my user profile in notification bar.....Dont kno y.
5)Screen off gestures force closing.
6)If possible can u plz port lg g2 camera.
7)Dont know if its possible bring double tap to close the screen on whole phone instead of on notification bar...jus asking if possible bring at would love dat.

FLASH INSTRUCTIONS
ROM already has the necessary bootloader to be on LP (for D805/6 it's recommended to
flash KitKat KDZ so this way original partitions are kept original and as clean as
possible. If you don't, you might get bugs not related to the ROM.)
Flash using lastest twrp bumped.
1) Download ROM UX4.0 v4
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache at least 4 times.
4) Flash the ROM (Aroma will be launched)
6) Choose your variant and any options you like to install on the ROM
7) Reboot to system. It will take a while to boot into system, please be patient when
LG logo appears. if your phone reboots when selecting language don't panic, it's
normal. Didn't happen to me but CheloZ did.
8) Enjoy the ROM!!!

Q: Can I go back to 480 DPI (stock)?
A: Yes you can, but the ROM is optimized to work on 380. I recommend going up to 420/430.
Q: Camera freezes when you switch to the front camera.
A: Close the camera and open it again (we're working to fix this).
Q: I don't like the stereo mod and/or I'm afraid it'd blow up my front speaker.
A: It's a shame you don't like it because we equalized it specifically for that, to have an amazing stereo sound without putting your front speaker in danger. I've been using it for about a year and 0 problems. You shouldn't have anything to worry about, but if you don't like it anyways we will upload a stock zip soon.

Ok folks here's Renegade for the S6. I don't have the device so I was not able to test the kernel. Please allow up to 20 minutes for first boot. If the device does not make it to the LTE screen, then I would say it's the kernel. Please keep posted and I hope you guys enjoy

So i flashed this rom and now im having data issues? Any fixes for this? Its saying no sim card installed when i activate mobile data.
No data issues as well. APN's are uneditable and changeable .

Same issue, no data connectivity. I was really excited too! I will revert to stock and check back daily, i really hope this gets fixed because this rom is perfect! Fast, native hotspot, thats what im in it for cheers
Same, no data. Seems to be working great otherwise. I am not using my s6 as my daily phone so i cam flash a new build at any time. Thanks for the ROM. Was on your old one and loved it.
Same here. No data issue. And using Note 5 as daily phone so also can flash another build anytime. Also Viper4Android is saying abnormal. Thanks for the ROM.

Oh and having same issue I had when I flashed @tdunham deodexed marshmallow build for note 5 where 64 gig SD card says corrupted. He fixed it in his 1.1 build though.

I have tried a different kernel, that didn't work, tried to flash the factory radio only, that didn't work...aaaaand thats the extent of my capabilities in this department so maybe hopefully it can get fixed!

Any plan to have cpu app support seems like alot of them dont work anyways? Ive found the powersaving mode better. Theres a mod to remove the color change too in gravitybox so its in powersaving mode with no ugly status bar color.
Still ram9200s kernel worked for me on the 920p data and 4g/lte works. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2v4ty9osysgv2da/s6kernel.zip?dl=0 Thanks to ram9200 if it works for you thank him.
