So what that don't have access to your laptop. XDA is very usable on any device. Your answer is in this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=62406565

Sorry to say that, but if you can’t use the search function, you should probably not be trying to root your phone

Huh, I can't imagine this to be the safest way to root your phone, being I have only now just hearted about it from you I can't say I am an authority on this, but just browsing the site a bit it seems like the opposite of safe... reminds me of lots of the one click root ideas... yeah I know some work fine but... yeah I suggest be skeptical and read up first before doing this

I think a lot of your information is outdated, for example Visionary is extremely outdated for most of the firmwares that's out now. The method outlined in the XDA Wiki as well as the Cyanogenmod Wiki is proven to work without fail (with the assumption that the end user actually follows the instructions to the letter).
The one click method tends to have problems and ends up in here for help, and far as hearing about it, normally hear complaints about their phone being bricked and how to fix it, they don't go into details exactly on "how" they bricked it, just that they whine and whine to unbrick it.
PS: I wish there was a way to remove an accidental thanks.
Well true there are some bad one click softs out there thats why i recommended what i have tried without problems........the fact that some are bad does not make dem all bad if only we bring up those that have bricked phones and those that helped cos not anybody has it easy with the XDA method by the way i recommend what i have tried so trust me what will i get by bricking someones phone (same module and and it worked)
PS:giving back your thanks.....

But of course with lack of information (ie: what phone did you have, what firmware was it at, was it originally Froyo, etc?), people attempting to do the same tends to cause problems.
Though in my opinion, if you can't handle the method outlined in the XDA wiki (which will work with any version of the phone, including instructions for making a gold card), then it's probably not the best idea to even attempt having a rooted phone.

I thought foxfi don't work right now unless somebody modified from xda or they came up with ics fix ???
I want to root and enable native tether or not root and use foxfi
I don't want to use custom rom since I may break my device

ROM's don't break devices...People break devices.
I've never had a rom ruin my device but I have seen where people have bricked their device because they didn't know what they were doing . I have even heard of people flashing roms for different phones on to their own... Ya, it does get comical around here. lol

correct rom don't break your device but people do. but changing rom makes you break device if something goes wrong. i had captivate and i used to load rom easily without issue using clockwordmod recovery. one day i loaded cyangenmod rom and try to load other rom after that and my device never boot up and keep rebooting . cyangenmod changed my boot logo from samsung to cyangenmod and i cant even goto change my device out under warranty.
Foxfi does work now with 1.95 version i guess fix is out and as long as it unlocks native tethering in background then i dont need anything now. i m happy.:laugh:
That sounds like a simple boot-loop, if the phone appears to be continually rebooting and not loading the OS. Maybe not bricked at all...
What happened when you restored your backup?

So, it seems that a few people around XDA have the G3 Vigor, such as myself. But the issue is, none of the root methods currently support this device. That being said, I'd like to know how to go about possibly finding an exploit(if need be) and using it to root this thing. I've searched plenty, but haven't found a good solid place to start. I'm not afraid to Mrs with some code, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Found the exploit
So, I know where I need to attack to get root access. But I'm still unsure of how to go about doing it. Any ideas?

No root access yet. Been watching the Stump Root method to see if they add this phone and no updates yet. I just got this phone although is a slightly different version of the LG 3, looks like it has a different way to access root. Let's wait and see if anything pops up soon. If you found a way to exploit it, let the dev of the Stump Root method know.

ok. There are no threads here about any successful rooting of the t807v. There is a site (it kinda looks like a bot) called srsroot that claims it can root the t807v (VRU1ANK1)
Has anyone used srsroot before?
I believe the issue you face is a locked bootloader in typical Verizon fashion if I recall.

What can we do about this? I had no idea I wasn't going to be able to root when I bought this tablet otherwise I wouldn't have. Is there anyway it can be done? I'd pay someone, I mean I'd be willing to give 100$ possibly more... I don't know as much as most around here but I feel like it someone could do it.

if you want root you most likely have to wait until someone finds root for the note 4 or s6 (verizon variants)..
for example, when the verizon s5 was rooted, the root worked for most older versions and devices as well.. I dont think there is many devs working to root this tablet as there are working to root the vzw note 4.

If anyone with a t807v is on the build prior to NK1, let me know or provide us with the .tar file is possible and I think I found a method that would work to root the device.
ping pong root
Ping pong root works wonders to root the verizon s6 edge. I'm guessing they can do something with this piece as well?
