AT&T LTE data issues on Verizon LGG4 - Verizon LG G4

I have been trying to use my verizon LGG4 on AT&T, I don't have an issue with call and messages but the data is not working on LTE, I have been upgraded to 13B and haven't rooted yet as the other forum suggested for T-Mobile, but I haven't seen any specific solutions for AT&T.
I have tried to change several options on Mobile network for data and APN setting but nothing is working.
Can I have any expert help on this.

If you look at the T-Mobile thread, there is also a lot of discussion regarding AT&T/Cricket. AFAIK, there is currently no solution for AT&T, so you are stuck on HSPA currently. I ditched Cricket and went to T-Mobile, works like a charm now with great speeds. I realize that may not be a solution for everybody, but I have my doubts a solution for AT&T is possible, at least on the current firmware.

[Q] Unlocked TMO N2 on AT&T data/gps issues

Hey guys, i recently purchased a used TMO Note 2 to replace my wife's AT&T N2 after she dropped it off the roof of her car. It came unlocked and works for the most part, but recently she's been complaining of slow or non-existent data and GPS taking forever to locate(If at all).
My initial plan was to root the phone and install new radios specific to AT&T. After reading through various postings, it looks like a lot of you have unlocked the TMO N2 for AT&T use and are having great success. Is rooting the best plan to improve the data connection? Are there other solutions I might try? What have you guys done to improve data on your unlocked N2?

I actually bought it off Craigslist unlocked, so I'm not sure what method was used to make it work. I'm using the same ATT sim that we used in her previous phone.
I ended up going into the APN settings and restoring defaults. That seemed to improve her connection immediately. not sure if it'll stick, but time will tell.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Running T-mobile on ATT note 2

Hello everyone.
I'm sorry if i write bad English because I'm not really good at it. Sorry in advance.
I have a ATT Note 2 which i bought from a friend and i unlocked it by using the free method from the forms.
When i first unlocked it my phone went to lte signal and my data was working fine and i was getting lte speeds.
I made a phone call which usually drops the single to HSPA+ aka 4g/3g but for some reason my phone doesn't go back to lte after.
I even called t-mobile they said they see my phone was on lte but they don't know why it's not going back to lte.
If anyone here running Tmobile sim in Att note 2 and still getting lte speeds after phone call is made please provide me some instructions as because I've tried everything possible i can from the forms. I've been trying for almost more then 3 to 4 months i still haven't found any solution to this problems.
If anyone can help me out that will be great.
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
That's odd, mine is unlocked and I use Tmobile but I dont have those problems... maybe it's the modem, could be reception... sorry to head you're having issues dude.

I'd verify the APN and make sure you have the most recent modem flashed.

First things first, what solutions have you tried? If we don't know what you've tried it won't help much. Also what method did you use to unlock it?
If you used the free unlock then you have the J2 modem - that's the earliest stock AT&T modem. Since you were able to downgrade, I'm assuming you can upgrade too. Depending on your location (whether t-mobile is using the refarmed AT&T bands or using their own) you can use the latest modem or you can search for a t-mobile modem.
But speed is what matters, not what icon is displayed. Check the phone status under the settings menu to see the actual network type you're connected to.

Unlocked Sprint Note 5 issues.

So my brother gave my his old Sprint Galaxy Note 5, which he had unlocked so that I could use it on AT&T. We had to set up the new APN to work with GSM instead of CDMA. The issue is that it cannot access 4G bands, just 3G. There are some other minor issues as well, such as location based services. I was looking into flashing AT&T firmware onto the phone, but cannot seem to find a way to do it online. I may not have scoured hard enough, or it may not be able to be done.
Would anyone be able to shed some light on this for me? I would prefer not to brick the phone by attempting something when I clearly do not have enough information about the subject. Could it just be an APN issue? Or will the phone just be stuck on a lower speed band? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
The modem will only be able to access the 3G network as AT&T uses different LTE bands then Sprint.
I just found that out a little earlier today. Forgot to delete this thread. Thank you for your reply though.

You might be able to force the network bands with an app. No promises.
Well crap, just got mine unlocked to do the same thing. Guess I'm better off selling it and getting the att version. Was hoping the N7 took off so people would dump their N5 but looks like people will be keeping it.

It does support the AT&T LTE bands, call AT&T and have them put in the IMEI into the system to allow LET access. Since it's a Sprint phone it's not in their system as a 4G/LTE device. I got mine working but seems it has a difficult time getting into LTM mode, I have the correct APN setup and 3G works fine.

Verizon Note 7 to AT&T

Has anyone fully successfully done this? At first I had 4g data but no texting. I called AT&T gave them the Imei and they got texting working but I lost 4g. I believe my APN is correct. Any thoughts?

Continue calling AT&T. I have had a similar problem when changing phones at Verizon, lost functions, and required more than one call to Verizon tech support, which was eventually resolved. They had to make changes at their end. Your problem may not have anything to do with the N7 factor. Good luck.
I was able to install AT&T ROM to the Verizon Note 7. It was awhile ago and took tons of trial and error, but currently it's running the 6.0.1 without any issues.

Verizon Note 8 on Cricket - Has anyone done this?

I bought a Verizon Note 8 which are factory unlocked and simply put my cricket sim inside and changed the APN settings to what the Cricket website recommends. However I'm have issues getting LTE Service and voice quality in general.
Has anyone every encountered this with the new galaxy devices on cricket? Should I look to flash the unlocked or ATT firmware to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

I would try the unlocked firmware and do a factory reset.

I just bought a Verizon Note 8 off craigslist. Works fine w/ my Cricket service. Didn't have to fiddle w/ APN settings either. I got LTE. I don't like the stock Verizon ROM however, I'm gonna put either the SM-N950U1 stock rom or a custom ROM.

Will a Verizon Note 8 work if you put a SIM card from cricket in?
I used a Verizon s8 plus on at&t for months. Flashed the unlocked firmware and had zero problems
I realize this is an old thread, but I also have a VZW Note8 being used on the Cricket network. I flashed the U1 firmware, which workds great, but calls are handled over H+, data over LTE. Cricket/AT&T is sunsetting their 3G network beginning 2020, so this will cause issues with my calls. Does anyone know, is there a firmware I can flash to enable VoLTE over the Cricket network?
Verizon Note 8 running on Cricket
Cricket wireless ran smoothly and fast, but I don't like Verizon bloatware. Flashed it with a SM-N950U1 bloatware free and reinstalled Cricket sim card and no problems, but one a cracked screen that still works.:good:
Yup it works
only problem is update to pie made free wifi tethering go away. Haven't figured out how to get it back yet. My LTE and voice work fine, also my APN settings happened automatically. Maybe delete the APN you created and let it do what it does. I'm so not an expert, but mine works fine.

I had Verizon Nougat on my Note8 originally... Using it on Cricket. I switched it to the unlocked carrier Oreo ROM several months ago. Wifi tethering worked. I upgraded to Pie last night using Smart Switch on my PC. It upgraded my Note8 to the unlocked carrier Pie ROM. Wifi tethering still working for me.
