Right now i would like to share Chuwi Ebook to you for review. It arrived yesterday, this is the large tablet pc for me with 10.1inch screen size. When i get it first on my hands, it is a little heavy, compared with the Chuwi HI10 or Chuwi VI8 Plus tablet PC. It weighs 750g in terms of its net weight. Although it’s not so slim, i still want to share what i think of this tablet pc.

Design
Chuwi Ebook has a unique feature that it comes with a stylus pen, which can write what you want freely and fluently. What’s more, the overall design is exquisite and trendy. Its length is 261.7mm, width 175mm, and the height 10.9mm. It sports by 10.1inch HD IPS screen with electromagnetic touch screen and 1280*800 pixel screen resolution. To be frank, i don’t really like 10inch tablet pc like this one, it really seems clumsy and heavy. For me, it’s a little big, for others, i guess it’s ok. After all, it’s special useful for those businessmen for working. What do you think of this design.
Hardware
Chuwi Ebook is proud of its processor with Intel Atom Z3736F Quad core 2.16GHz max CPU, which means saving more power and run the OS much faster. Especially when i play the game of Crossing fire, the overall performance behaves so excellent and swift. After all, Intel chipset seems excellent. Namely, it can let me have a nice experience to play games and operate to work.
Moreover, it can have RAM 2GB ROM 32GB and it can support expanding the storage to 64GB, which can help me store more useful files, especially those video, music, games, etc. And RAM 2GB enables me to run these programs at the same time without any barrier. It still runs smoothly.
Dual Cameras
Chuwi Ebook supports Front 2.0MP camera and Rear 5.0MP OV cameras with Autofoucs function. It has better dual cameras than that of chuwi hi10. I have a try to use this tablet pc to do video chatting and take selfies. It shows clearly i think, but not so clear video quality.
And the back camera has 5.0MP to take pictures well. But in general, i don’t like to use a heavy tablet pc to take pictures. I think it’s a little clumsy. But i would like to use a smartphone to have a try. So how about you? Do you like using a tablet PC to take photos in your life and work?
Support Bluetooth/OTG/WiFi/HDMI functions and a useful stylus pen+ Windows OS
I am also very satisfied with the function, and the unique stylus pen. Chuwi Ebook can support Bluetooth to transfer the data, OTG, HDMI function, which can connect our TV to enjoy windows OS in a smart tv. It can also let me get away from the converter cable troubles. So which function is the most useful for you?
In addition, Chuwi Ebook is equipped with an original HanWang ES4 pen, which is only 2.9g light, no need battery power. It’s easy to use or touch the screen without using hands.
Next, Chuwi Ebook is different from the common ones which supports Windows 8.1 OS, i can enjoy the efficient and convenient OS like a computer now. I also want to get a keyboard to become Chuwi Ebook into a real PC. If you have done it, just don’t forget to share it with me.
Battery
Chuwi Ebook has 8000mAh battery, the charging speed quickens 10%, and it has added 20% capacity then the normal batteries, i guess that’s the real reason it shows very heavier for me. It can support 5h web browsing, 4h video watching, 300h long standby time. The durable battery is also the real reason that makes me love this tablet pc.
Conclusion
Chuwi Ebook is a nice 10.1inch Windows8.1 Tablet PC with a light but powerful stylus pen, and the EM touch screen and screen of 1280*800 resolution have let this tablet is much different from other common tablet pcs. The overall performance made me impress deeply. So what do you think of Chuwi Ebook?
Chuwi Hi10 and Chuwi ebook which one is better?
Emm, looks a nice device. Keyboard is included in the package?

of course, Chuwi HI10 is better, it has RAM 4GB, and Chuwi Ebook just has RAM 2GB. So Chuwi HI10 is a little more expensive than that of Chuwi Ebook.
Very nice review! Thanks for sharing. What about the price? Does it worth it?
Hello. Thanks for the review. I have some questions: the tablet is or not dual boot? (some shops say it is) The stylus experience is good?

Watch Chuwi hi12 video review:
When will be in stock?
Hrmm... Looks intriguing! 4gb ram, cherry trail, and that high resolution would be interesting indeed. I guess it all depends on the price.
hmm, nice tablet... where can I found more cheap at presale? maybe i want to buy one
P.S. Full hd <3
Chuwi has a very good name in the market and their products price is one of the factors that make Chiuwi so competitive. Therefore, I would like to see a nice low price. Do you know when the presale will start?
How much?
I predict it will be $250.
whats the price tag? is it availble only in china?
I only hope the 12" version comes with Android 6.x pre-installed and Chuwi releases an update to Android 6.x for the 10" version.
I highly doubt the 12" screen resolution is going to be 1920x1200, it's very likely going to be 1920x1080 judging by the looks of the leaked pictures.

Yes we all agree that Chuwi Hi12 is a Chinese tablet and no one knows if they are solid and durable, i think we all considered to get an iPad just because its solid... but have a look at the pictures below
Chuwi Hi12 vs iPad Pro
For me Both devices look premium and solid, why get an iPad that is worth hundreds of $ and dont get an Android Tablet with all the above features mentioned above?? It will cost you only 289$

They both look astonishing! I like the fact that the Chuwi Hi12 seems to have a USB 3.0 port, which is a must nowadays. 289$ is out of my budget, though, so I think I'll go with the Chuwi Hi10.

Also having the USB 2.0 port is good, the iPad Pro only has the lightening one, am I correct? How do they plan on making it a tablet/laptop when you can't even connect a mouse, or maybe you can, by buying a $50 adapter..

I have read the nice news that Teclast will also announce Teclast X3 pro which will be the first RAM 8GB and 128GB SSD tablet pc.
This is the same chipset as the Cube i9, which was just been released. Hot on heels of Cube, Teclast have gone for more RAM, 8GB of daul channel ram Vs the 4GB of dual channel ram in the i9.
It seems Teclast X3 pro will be th higher version of Teclast X2 pro. But gone is the last gen Core M 5Y10, replaced with the much more powerful, but still fanless Core M3-6Y30.
In one image it looks like we have USB 3.1 Type-C port? I wonder if it will finally have Wireless AC?
As for the price, it will be sold at $599 from E-Shop. So the official price will be around $385-$400 in China.
Are you looking forward to Teclast X3 pro tablet pc?

I'm planning to buy this tablet.
I like it,.. it resolves my main issue with the X16 Power — a PC with the computing power of the Samsung Galaxy S4. This is much closer to the S7 that just came out.
I am a *little* worried about android studio in 8GB of ram, I've seen my system go up over 8 with the emulator running .. but I guess I'll just have to get use to using a testbed device if I get this.
8Gb of RAM? God what are you going to do with that! Although it seems marketed towards professionals..

Almost.. yeah. Mostly due to Chrome using that much RAM.
Do you think it will have a real mSATA drive or one of those slower eMMC ones?
It is a real mSATA
"Like all the other Chinese Core M tablet tested here at Tech Tablets, the X2 Pro comes with a M.2 2242 spec 64GB SSD or 128GB SSD. My version here is the 64GB model. Speeds are good and definitely a huge step up from the eMMC drives seen in the Atom tablets. And since the tablet has USB 3 ports you can make more use of the faster sequential read and write speeds without any storage bottlenecks."

Hey guys, you can move my post if this is in the wrong forum section - wasn't sure where to put this.
Today I received my i7 Book from Banggood. BUT they have sent me the wrong AC adaptor!
It should look like this (picture sourced from the Cube website)
I got sent a MicroUSB charger with a dodgy travel adaptor, the ones that I suspect come without a fuse.
I have a bucket full of old chargers and cables, and found a spare! But then discovered it only charges at 200mA - no good.
Can anyone recommend on Amazon or Ebay where to get a replacement charger? (UK plug, if possible). What about the 8" CUBE U10GT AC adapter? Can see a few on ebay, etc.
Managed to get an AC Adapter that works, charges at 2.5A/12V - the “prong” is 3.5 x 1.35mm, suitable for Cube i9 but the seller confirms it charges the Cube i7 Book also. The seller was very helpful
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12V...-For-Cube-i9-Tablet-PC-EU-US/32689241033.html
Here's a pic of what I received http://i.imgur.com/7Vst6fg.jpg (Shows the + polarity on the adaptor).
is it worth sell my current i7 stylus? AND buy i7 book??? PERFORMANCE GAMING???
Hi, can we install androidt to this tablet?
What about dual boot? Windows and Android. Can I install Android on a SD card?

Quite boring I know, but it seems pretty adequate for a small form factor 2 in 1 tablet. There is no point in running bechmarks in this kind of hardware, but surprisingly it is quite snappy on daily use. I've had no problem doing photo editing work on the device with Adobe's usual suspects. I expected Photoshop to be fast, but not Lightroom ( that one tends to struggle a bit in a big library, no matter the hardware), it was a pleasant surprise to see it working fine. Daily coding/writing/web browsing is a breeze with the addon keyboard and the battery while I could not find the specs on it, it seems to last a good 3 hours of heavy use with brightness set high.
Things worthy of mention on this device:
Trackpad really doesn't like water or sweat
Big battery + all aluminum construction= a top heavy device when in laptop mode. Also a giant heatsink, which is good
Cameras: both are decent enough for video calls, but nothing else. specially in low light conditions
Speakers: yes.
There's pen support and the Hi3 pen from the same guys is actually quite good
Touchscreen IPS Panel: Impressive colors and touch seems very good. Way too glossy for any outdoor work in bright sunlight
Limited range on wifi reception: It pretty much requires a direct line of sight with the AP or it will probably drop out, if connect at all. No speed issues. Probably related to the all aluminum construction and the antenna placement
Build quality: very good. Device feels solid and nice to use. Some corners are a bit sharp on the keyboard though.. not sharp enough to cut, but to irritate you while typing. I suppose some sandpaper can fix that quite easily
Some final thoughts: Very surprised with the performance/price index on this one and the size and packaging makes it perfect for a small walkaround laptop that you don't need to be too powerful or too expensive. The display stands out for me, as the color accuracy is pretty high and while vivid, not oversaturated. I'd like it to be a little lighter in total, but it's not a complete burden to carry. The charger situation is a bit weird as well, since it's using a 12v 2amp psu on a usb c hole, so you can't just plug it in any charger. I mean you can, but it will probably not work as intended. The two USB A ports on the keyboard dock albeit usb-2.0 they have been a lifesaver, since the device itself only has usb c ports.
Oh and I almost forgot. Windows 10 tablet mode is.. not good. It's certainly improved, but ux is horrible and inconsistent when you have to switch between tablet friendly apps and actual software you have to use. Most atrocious example is when trying to use Chrome with the touch keyboard. You tap on the location bar and the keyboard pops up. in full screen. and no, you can't see what you're typing. Thanks Microsoft!
On a more serious note: Cheap, solid build, x86 based small form factor 2 in 1 tablet with more than decent performance
Oh, did I mention the BIOS is quite open to config?
Maybe I'll try formatting and throwing linux at it. We'll see
Hi, did you try to install linux or Android x86? Thank you
does it have the necessary hardware requirements for windows 11?

Yes it does meet windows 11 requirements.
Hi!
I'm testing Zorin from a live USB in this device (mine with Intel Celeron N4120 CPU) and the screen rotation works in the other way around, when I put the tablet horizontally, the image is vertical and upside down. Also the resolution looks very small and all available resolutions look even smaller. I do not decide to install it because of what I comment.
I have searched about this without finding anything. Can someone help me to make it work 100% with linux?
Thank you!
