Delete pre-installed apps on W10M - Windows 10 Mobile

Is there a way of uninstalling preinstalled apps on WM10? Like Xbox, FeedBack etc.

First, why? Second, no.

exactly, this not as android bloatware.

Why not? And, why not? This is just like Android bloatware.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

you dont have a clue how Windows working... just disable notifications in XBOX settings and you disabled app working in background.
you cant uninstall XBOX because is part of Microsoft account and you need him

Obviously, I don't know how it can be done, I wouldn't have asked otherwise. But I know that powershell and remove-appxpackage can be used on W10, so I wondered if there is a similar way for W10M. There must be one.

Hi
you can't "uninstall" but you can disable the installation during the 1st boot!
with the full MTP access you can delete the *.provxml files used to install those apps , then do a hard reset!
provxml files are stored in those folders:
Code:
PROGRAMS/PHONEPROVISIONER_OEM/OEM
PROGRAMS\PHONEPROVISIONER\Microsoft
PROGRAMS/DUMIGRATIONPROVISIONEROEM/provxml
PROGRAMS/DUMIGRATIONPROVISIONERMICROSOFT/provxml
PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Provisioning\Microsoft
PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\OEM\Public\PreloadedApps\tier3Apps
Windows\system32\Provisioning\Microsoft
PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Xaps
PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Provisioning\OEM
PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Multivariant\Apps

Thank you for your answer!
I was hoping for something simpler, like tricking the App Manager to uninstall them.

After:
It is very easy.
Instruction:
1. Unpack your XAP file. (Use winRar)
2. Find WMAppManifest.xml
3. Open it in text editor.
4. Look for this line: <Title>[APP NAME HERE]</Title>
5. Replace it with <Title> </Title>.
6. Go to winRar, replace the old WMAppManifest.xml with the new one.
7. Install Application.
Done!
Hope you like it!

This would solve something that's been annoying me for a while.
But, I have no idea how to remove a xap from my phone, and a search doesn't show me anything. So how do I remove/copy a xap from my phone to my PC? And is it even possible with parts of the ROM? Such as music and video?
Great guide.
If someone talented could make an app to do this, that would be awesome :good:
how does one get to the Xap to edit it?
It is pretty obvious by now that you need to be a developer and have the source code to do so...
You can't get to the XAP, and even if you did, you would have to decompile it, then recompile after you've done the changes.

Apps Not Getting Installed/ Registry Problem

Recently my phone refuses to install any xap or appxbundle files. I cannot even deploy the files from my pc. Lately my phone has showed down a lot and the store cannot download apps. My 640 XL is interop unlocked and I have done the page file registry hack. My phone became unstable after moving the page file to C instead of U. Now, I moved the page file back to U but my phone has been unstable since then.
. Now recently when I tried installing apps from interop tools, It gave me an error "Package could not be registered" after installing upto 95%. Screenshots below -

install with device portal or this app https://forum.xda-developers.com/wi...mes/appx-appxbundle-installer-phones-t3669665, not with interop tools....
New errors
So, I've tried more things and this is the result. I discovered something new too. I can edit the registry but the changes are not saved after a reboot. I've tried this many times but if I change the size of the page file in registry, it stays the same as it was after a reboot.
Also, i had previously used the 'perfect style' app to change my system font and icons. I guess the app worked on the principle of registry edits but now when I try to change the font or the icons..they remain the same.
VCreg and interior tools show that my device is interop unlocked. This is really getting annoying now and I camt hard reset as I've got a lot of things which I cant backup at the moment. So... Any ideas?

Wrongly uninstalled, not disabled.. Sorry
Same thing. You can get it from there.
Or go setting-apps-disabled apps, and check there too

My list is empty.
Unfortunately, I uninstalled Game Suite (not "disable" - "uninstall").
We need some kind apk - i hope it will work.
I try apk from Honor 8 (i found it od XDA) but i cant install - error.
Here you go
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1gJP8I9B_hyiZzQt6O7o9OXVoYAPyNWwd
Game center and game suite via share from my phone.
I installed both. The app works but the GPU turbo is not working. In Game Suite, there is still an acceleration mode instead of turbo mode. In the description is the info that the acceleration mode affects the battery. That was not the point. The game suite with the link has the version 8.0.1.101 while the other people with everything works correctly have an older version.
You dont need a button for gpu turbo..its automatic when you play compatible games. I think)

[HELP] Paytm app forces users to uninstall TeamViewer Quick Support App

Paytm won't start until the Quick Support app in completely uninstalled from the phone. Is there any way to bypass this check ? I tried few methods like disabling Quick Support app and also installing it in Parallel Space but the Paytm still detects that Quick Support is installed on the phone..

Probably containering the app is the best way, you can do this with apps like parallel space but those suck. Try to find a root solution for completely containering apps if you can
If they can still read app data, which is supposed to be blocked...I can't really help you

My device is fully rooted with TWRP and magisk installed. Like I said I have tried Parallel space but it didn't work out. I have no idea what application containerization is and how I can do it.

Is it normal for Samsung galaxy to have protected data folder named user_de for a52s. I can understand default system and one user data folder.
Reason for asking is I'm trying to recover my phone from hacking ( already tried removing unnecessary system apps for user 0 using adb tools but I couldn't do anything for user_de. Someone is able to remotely change app permissions, force find my device, enable parental control and so on.
I checked ADB max users it shows only one user and hence worried about protected data folder under user_de. I can understand if system account is protected
I have checked and don't have Google play developer console activated, also deleted registered Google and Samsung accounts.
Any answer would be welcome. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the other user but honestly, I would just reflash it if it has been hacked. It would probably be the easier method anyways. Let me know if you would like to reflash it and I'll answer any questions.
