Your warranty is now VOID.
Note, an official CM13 thread now exists here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-nightlies-moto-x-t3391610
This ROM will stay around as a testing bed for things not officially supported by CM. Right now that just means blink support, but other items such as DT2W and EAS will eventually be merged back into this port.
Instructions:
Backup current ROM
Install CM13
Install Marshmallow GAPPS (optional)
Reboot and enjoy
What works:
LTE
Calling
Wifi
Camera
Sound
Bluetooth
GPS
Notification sounds
Video recording
All CM actions including chopchop should now work
Quick tile for torch (Fixed as of 20160506 builds)
What mostly works:
Writing to external card (With the new 3.0+ TWRP, making the external SDcard extended storage is now a workable solution while still being able to make TWRP backups. The new fuse manager still causes too many issues with making the SDcard swap-able storage and I will probably not be able to fix it.)
Lower IR sensor (WIP by Gmillz)
What's broken:
Some SEpermissions
Doubletap2wake (removed from Invisiblek builds. May come back some day)
Possibly other items

May need to delete CMActions settings again due to recent changes. See link from last build on how to do that.
Build 20160329
Fixed Gapps setup crash. You won't be able to get the on screen keyboard to pop up the first time it asks for you to log into your Google account. See this post for how to get around that http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66088459&postcount=390

New repo means unfortunately no blinking notification or EAS enhancements at this time. Hopefully they will get merged in soon
If you are coming from a build before this, I recommend doing a clean flash. So much changed that I will not be fixing bugs for anyone that came from a dirty flash of one of my earlier builds.
May 2016 Security update from Google
Invisiblek changed some of CMAction, so you will at a minimum need to do this fix again: Fix for CMAction crash

It's unofficial. It's also Alpha which means many things are still broken. I said once the cellular radio was fixed I would start posting builds and Hashbang fixed that while I was off for the holidays.
It's doing the same thing to another rom, shutting off when it h
gets to home screen and loops.
We think it happens to do with gapps.

Did you install the GAPPS I linked? I had no such reboot on my system.
Thank you very much. Beginning to test
Just wondering if you knew that source was released ? Maybe it will help.

This is from the new source that Hashbang has been working on.
XT1575 - CLARK - Verizon sim - I'm getting reboots / boot loop also after flashing the 12/26 build with Open Gapps pico build labeled 12/27. Phone setup completes but when on the home screen the reboots start. Same result in AICP from 12/23. I was on TruePureXMM 2.3 prior to clean flashing CM13.

Thank you, it isn't just me
Excellent progress, and expected that there will be issues early on. So thankful for all the hard work, and appreciative of the (non-whiny) feedback from people willing to test an alpha release.
Exact same problem here, Verizon and all.

Been running this ROM since it was posted yesterday. Besides the listed bugs the only other issues I'm facing are no notification sounds and 5ghz wireless dropping in and out randomly, 2.4ghz fine. Ringtone is fine but settings won't allow me to even set a notification. (It says it set, just doesn't make noise). On XT1575 w/ATT sim.
Just an fyi, I tried it again and wiped the internal storage too and I've only had 1 reboot.

I think that's been a problem with Cyanogenmod for a while. The same problem happened to me on my LG G3. I fixed it on the G3 by going into the WiFi settings and disabling 5ghz all together. It made the 2.4ghz run a lot faster too.

Well, I had it. I never should've tried to root it because now even wiping internal and external isn't helping. Trial and big error.

CM is already rooted, just have to enable in Developer settings.. But I experienced a longer delay in the reboots happening on AICP when I flashed Slim gapps MM zero build from 12/20. Glad I didn't try yet. I will just wait for the next build and try again.

About OmniROM
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Omni is a chance to get involved, no matter who you are. Developers, whether you’ve been developing apps for a week, or ROM features for 3 years, you’re welcome. Users, we know you want to help out, and now you can – Omni actively encourages bug reports and feature requests, which can be added to our publicly accessible roadmap. What’s the point in giving you a ROM, and forcing you to not tell us about any bugs you find?
We also recognise how people use Custom ROMs – we’re all custom ROM users and developers ourselves – the argument that “nightlies are not for end users” is over-used, and no longer valid. We’ve found that the vast majority of users want to get nightly updates to their ROM. For that reason, nightlies aren’t a playground – nightlies are for new features that are finished. You should be able to expect the same stability and reliability from a nightly as you would from a “release” ROM, and can report any bugs that prevent this from happening.
We know not everyone wants to update their ROM daily, and you are free to update as frequently or infrequently as you like. Omni is about flexibility and giving users what they expect – and we are excited to see where the community goes with it.

How to report a bug
Use the search function, if the bug has already been reported and I or another person has answered do NOT report it again. I'm tired of writing ten times the same thing.
A bug report function is embedded in XDA forum look at the top there's a section called "Bug Reports". Use it
Provide a logcat and/or dmesg. Search on XDA if you don't know how to get a proper log
Always provide which model you are using and other information that you think could be useful to solve the bug

This is an early preview with lots of bugs and not usable as a daily driver. You have been warned. Flash this only if you are sure about what are you doing.

Starting from 20150506 I'm uploading automated builds: this means that they should be treated as nigthlies (I won't create a new one every 24 hours though). All the new files will be placed in the "Download folder" automatically, so, if no new changes from my part, I will NOT update the changelog. These builds will include all the updates and commits from official Omnirom repos plus my commits not yet merged for our tablets. Good luck

Hey marco,
For graphics glitch when rotating you need:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/540345f70db4f0cea6ad3f1150d2cb2fac18da25
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/4e7f61fd6a36345e7994c236d1c128c4c8a6a0ea
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/db4cec0e189b84e5999ae5b3bef0e7a6c2bb3087
you can probably find those in 4.4 omnirom branch as well.
Then it should be fixed

Thanks I've already merged one of them yesterday (the first), and I need to check the second one. I don't know about the last one because I haven't found any settings in the various configs that enable BOARD_USE_MHEAP_SCREENSHOT. I need to check better though.

I'm in the same boat as you, stuck with the leaked N8000 bootloader on my N8010, and youtube works great for me on last CM 11 build.
Nice work Marco!!
I've flashed your build (while building mine... ) and I've noticed that the keyboard doesn't show up, I had to go to Settings>Language & input>Current Keyboard and switch on the Hardware flag to make the keyboard appear.
Youtube works fine (audio and video)
I've played a couple of mp4 videos with a default gallery without a problem
Music plays fine with Apollo
It seem very good for such an early build...If only the log in with Google Account worked...:fingers-crossed:
Sooo nice rom only network works on N8000 and it will be my rom
- There is a problem with the default browser as it closes after opening on few seconds
- Graphics errors at multi tasks cards.

I usually use chrome. Default browser should be "deprecated" and replaced by chrome. Graphical errors are still there (during switching off screen, rotation, taking screenshots and so on), lirokoa pointed some commits I'll try with them, but they should do the job. RIL is a priority for me too, but it's quite complex and the code changed a lot so I'll need some time to merge that part.

For RIL, many things are needed and I can't test since I have N8013, but I can point you to some to a repo that might help you:
https://github.com/ArchiDroid/android_frameworks_opt_telephony/commits/cm-12.0
Looks to all SamsungExynos4RIL / Samsung STK commits. That should help.

I've written quite big in the third post that you need to flash supersu beta just after the rom or you won't be able to boot into recovery: you've been warned. I'm working on merging the fixes for graphics issues.
By the way I've fixed the stylus input which is working ok now. New version soon....
New version 20141125 out
I've just uploaded a new build. See OP for download links and second post for changelog. Before signaling a bug or something that isn't working, please read the third post, too.
Another bug I've found is in charging off script, please recharge your tablet while on until next release
On my n8013, every time I flash the ROM, then gapps, then superSU, I get a boot loop, never makes it to Omni logo. I tried to redownload all files from the OP, and still no luck. Tried 4 times now

Okay so I guess I'm one of the first to test this perhaps so heres my "bug report" so far after using CM12 after 5 minutes xD...
1. First boot seemed to be a long time...
2. There seems to be some sort of red rectangle appearing whenever I do certain things like opening apps, pressing buttons etc... Weird
3. I have a SIM PIN set-up and when I enter the code and hit unlock, it says "SIM PIN operation failed!"
4. RIL doesn't seem to be working for me ... Understandable as I can't unlock my SIM
I'll update this post as I find more!
Gonna try today!

One question, has this rom rooted already?

the red rectangle maybe with another launcher it goes off, and the RIL i'm pretty sure if you don't unlock your SIM it would not work so i think somebody without SIM lock might be OK

1. There is no longer Dalvik, just ART, so every boot after update will be long...
2. Because it's ENG build, not USER. It means sometimes when GPU updates layers it might generate red frames, ignore it, it is how it is supposed to be.
3/4. RIL works, but it might be buggy, and to be honest we haven't checked if PIN control works correctly yet. Thanks for report.
I get success flashing but I showed mount:failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p22 at /system, and then I go reboot.
I just get Samsung GT-I8190 text. Any idea?
Presenting CM13 unofficial. Built from mostly pure CyanogenMod sources, with a few tweaks that I try to keep updated on my github. This is only possible due to the work of Ziyan and MWisBest.

Synced with cm's latest sources as of 12-31-2014. I'll be working on toroplus for a bit, trying to get ril to behave properly there, so toro will be waiting for a maybe a week, unless there are any exciting new features or bug fixes.
@musical_chairs, I'm the gnex maintainer for LiquidSmooth. I have LP maguro builds that are all good, but my toro builds don't have data, and my toroplus builds don't have voice or data. I think I have toroplus figured out and I'll know with a test build that'll be done in a few hours. With toro, though, MW and I are stumped. Would you mind sharing details on how you got CM12 toro data working?

Sure! I'm currently stuck with toroplus, ril is completely broken, no service of any kind. I'd be interested in knowing how you got that working.
For data on toro, I picked these commits from MWisBest's github:
https://github.com/MWisBest/android...mmit/7611a40b233517384d56d1f93caa7fd836c376af
https://github.com/MWisBest/proprie...mmit/5d70b4a8d019d60102432ca29f738e6e7c39a978
I also added some stuff to system.prop, patch is attached to this post. Again, I take no credit for it, it's copied from MWisBest.

If I manage to get toroplus going, I'll certainly relay that back to you.
I've also applied those same commits from MW, and I'm pretty sure I'm using all the same build.prop entries. What was your starting point? device_samsung_toro from CM? What I did (at ziyan's advice) was start with the latest JB-era repo from google, apply like 5 commits from Ziyan's maguro repo, then the MW stuff.

There is supposed to be mobile data, it works here. I don't think I did anything special to get it working, though I did mess around a bit with some settings (Testing menu settings, APN settings) on my first few builds and haven't done a clean flash real recently.
I'm new to this phone. I thought you could just flash like I did on my note 2 i605. If mobile data works I want some 5.0
It looks like I had the same issue as zzpianoman on his cm12 build. If you flash his APN fix, you should get working data:

SUPPORT FOR THIS HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.x (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing LineageOS 14.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Unlock Bootloader!
Download the zip(s).
Install Appropriate FW base (STOCK MM 4.21.40.xx base is required) simple FW update package is available at my download link
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash LineageOS.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package. Open Gapps x86 7.1
Optional: Install the addon SU zip (x86 version)
Broken Features / Known Issues
VIDEO ENCODER/DECODER ISSUES: This results in green lines on videos/pictures taken using the Intel HW encoder/decoder and other playback issues dependent on video formats. See the list below:
[*] Snapchat: thin greeen line tends to appear on recorded videos for snapchat
Asus Pixelmaster Camera App: Super resolution mode does not work. Turning off "Optimizations" from settings clears up any green line issues.
Some video formats do not play as expected
FM Radio is unsupported.
sim 2 cannot be disabled (this is true for all CM builds on non qualcomm hardware)
Other than Fugu (Nexus Player TV box) there are no Vendor released M x86/x86_64 builds in existance. You may experience some issues with GAPPS and some known apps not loading or working correctly. Below is a list of KNOWN apps that do not currently run on CM13 based x86 Zenfone 2 builds :
Polaris Office, Chase Mobile, Showbox...
[*] Screen recording not working Works now.
Chromecast screen mirroring not working, native casting works though.
[*] factory reset from setting menu has been reported to cause recovery boot loops. Works now.
CM14 (not device specific issues)
No CMTE yet
CM file manager has trouble accessing external sdcard
Other Issues?
Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread. "I'm having problems rooting/unlocking" is NOT relevant here.

DATA MIGRATION BUILDS
"THESE BUILDS WILL TAKE A LONG TIME (~30 mins) TO BOOT"
LineageOS has moved to private key signed builds. This is something that typically requires a full data wipe to transition too. To ease this burden for users who are not accustomed to that , the initial release builds are designed "MIGRATION" to help users who do not want to clean flash from an existing CM/Lineage build. Use the data migration builds as a one time "Flash this first, and then the officials" to migrate to private key signed builds. Follow the below instructions using the admiration builds to preserve app data if so desired, Otherwise feel free to clean flash directly to the weekly release builds
Official CM-13.0 -> CM14.1 Upgrade Guide
As seen with my previous unofficial CM-13.0 builds based on the MM Stock roms, An upgrade to the MM Firmware and bootloader is required going forward.
This guide is here to assist.
1) Download ROM and 7.1 GAPPS
2) Download my Firmware Update package for Z00A or Z008 . FASTBOOT AND ADB ARE REQUIRED!
3) Follow the included instructions to update Firmware and flash the new compatible TWRP. If for some reason the new TWRP is not flashed automatically flash it manually via fastboot. "fastboot flash recovery recoverimagename.img
4) Reboot to recovery and flash CM 14 and Gapps, reboot and enjoy. Data Wipe on upgrade is not required
CM 14.1 from Stock MM
1) Unlock Bootloader
2) Flash compatible TWRP
3) Perform desired backups
4) From recovery, factory reset & install ROM & 7.1 GAPPS
5) Enjoy!
CM 14.1 from CM13 Mm based beta builds
1) Reboot to TWRP( should already have good version)
2) Flash CM14.1 and 7.1 GAPPS
3) Reboot and enjoy!!
Reserve !

Is it required to flash also the firmware of Mm or just the bootloader and twrp !
Flashed migration build just fine. Didn't take too long. Flashing nightly now!
Thanks for big work. We love this rom, LinOS ???
Finally here!!!! Great job guys I'm glad you didn't give up through everything <3

Broken Features / Known Issues
VIDEO ENCODER/DECODER ISSUES: This results in green lines on videos/pictures taken using the Intel HW encoder/decoder and other playback issues dependent on video formats. See the list below:
Snapchat: thin greeen line tends to appear on recorded videos for snapchat
Asus Pixelmaster Camera App: Super resolution mode does not work. Turning off "Optimizations" from settings clears up any green line issues.
Some video formats do not play as expected
FM Radio is unsupported.
audio is a little weird in Real Racing 3.
sim 2 cannot be disabled (this is true for all CM builds on non qualcomm hardware)
DRM content is currently broken
Live Display (color calibration) not working yet
Screen recording not working
Chromecast screen mirroring not working, native casting works though.
factory reset from setting menu has been reported to cause recovery boot loops.
Battery life is horrible, numerous display wakelock issues
CM14 (not device specific issues)
No CMTE yet
Status bar icon changing broken
CM file manager has trouble accessing external sdcard
Battery profile is non functional/string errors

The builds are signed, its your twrp that's not signed with the same private key(and never will be) that keeps you from using that sig verification.

Is the battery life really horrible? Is it worse than the MM blobs CM 13? Anyways, thanks for continuing to develop this great ROM.
How can I enable also G-Assistant and G-Now on LinOS

No, it's actually been much better recently. I cleaned up a couple of the issues that were causing inconsistent wakelock issues a week or so ago.

Can confirm, I noticed my battery get much better recently before realizing you had updated that. I still have an issue with losing fast/quick charge, but I haven't seen others mention this so it's likely an issue on my end.
New nightly rom is amazing.... Thanks a lot guys @jrior001

No you can't do it with twrp... You need adb(comp) and unrooting is not necessary... Uninstalling xposed is also not necessary... It won't work in nougat.. It'll just be there
Can i use SuperSU instead of the official root?
Wow , I know I've just done a clean install of the nightly ....but , is it just me or is this a lot faster , more fluent browsing the web pages than anything built in the past ? Or am I slightly delirious thru watching all that blue building up coff ?
Hats off to the new age lineage and the master dev
Just moved to the official branch. Migration tool worked perfectly, and SU optional package did its job as well.
The whole process was absolutely painless, so let's enjoy OTA updates from now on!

It contains all good changes from my los15.1 rom, for example slightly OC CPU/GPU more memory leak fixes and so on.
My goal was performance and good battery life time and of course stable rom, as written in OP you can see it as fallback if you are unhappy with lineageos 15.1 at the moment.

Its not a part of this rom, but if you get an flashable zip with needed files to get it work, it should.
This time just kernel update...
Updated version from .107 to .108.
Should speed up overall performance and little memory leak patches.
Download could be found in OP under download - updated kernel.
Remember its an .img file so flash in TWRP as image, or if you are rooted flashify or else.
You've done a wonderful job. Finally I found a better ROM than InvictaOS.
So far so good, I just can point out this tiny bug:
*When we switch to see Recent Apps, both Lock and Close(X) button takes a decent time to load.
*After flashing boot.img, I've lost chop-chop.
Other than that, there are few things I miss from InvictaOS like Memory Available when switching to Recent Apps, Temperature on Lockscreen when charging and LED management. But as you can see, they are minor features.
Thanks again.

So far so good. ChopChop is working again. I haven't notice any change in performance, but will update if anything happen.
Nice work!
I'm getting crashes in the official 14.1 LOS, do you happen to know if this issue is fixed for the XT1625 in your version?
