There is no 5.1.1 firmware for redmi 1s. There is kitkat firmware. BTW are you using the rom which is built on new kernel sources???Otherwise there is no need of flashing the firmware. You can just clean flash the rom again.

So the rom you've flashed was built on new kernel sources so you have to flash that firmware. Otherwise you'll get that random reboots.
Ooooo i get it now

realy frustrating, if somene could download it for me and put it in google drive mayby that would work for me.

Hi,
I recently bought a G3 and 3 days ago i downgraded to kitkat to be able to root, I also installed CM12, it was fine until I had bootloops so I reinstalled it and yesterday my device had a kernel crash.
I wanted to go back to stock G3 but couldn't reach download mode! Even after a kernel crash and selecting "launch download mode" it crashes.
I don't know what to do, do you have an idea?
Thanks!

Pull battery, put it back in, boot into recovery, choose "reboot into bootloader" in it, then flash stock kdz.

When I want to reboot into bootloader it simply boot the device.
I actually managed to install CM11 which should be more stable hopefully, but I don't know if it'll last long.
If I change the kernel, will it prevent kernel crashes?

I'm using philz recovery v6.55.0 to install beta miui 6 rom.
Download and put that zip file into internal storage and do clean flash before flash rom.
Anyone can answer me the following questions? (I'm on MIUI V5 and I'm pretty happy, everything works fine so I don't want to change just to go back)
1.Is the battery drop after reboot bug gone?
2.How's ram?In previous releases after doing some operations like(facebook/browsing/etc) when you tap on home button an message "Just a sec" was displayed and then after 1-2 seconds it loaded the launcher. Also multitasking was kinda bad,If you clicked a link on facebook and opened the browser, when you went back to facebook, the app didn't started from where you left it,it reloaded, like when you refresh timeline to get the latest notifications. It didn't kept in memory more than 2 apps, and those 2 apps shouldn't be too "big".
Thanks !
use mi own recovery for stable installation
wrong link

Hi all,
Today I flashed aosp6.0.1 on my redmi 1s using TWRP 2.8.4 but got error reading update binary script. I tried to wipe cache, data system . but there I got another error "unable to add storage 642***** " now I can't boot or flash anything. See the photo attached for better understanding.
I managed to flash cm11 but it was failed at flashing with an error "unable to remove storage 6*****".
The ROM boots but after 2-3 min it automatically reboots.
In need of help. Thanks in advance.

If you are trying to flash @TechExhibeo's mm rom then flash the recovery that is provided in the OP. The rom is built on caf and the recovery is also caf based. Also flash this firmware before flashing the rom

Thanks , use modder tool by giovix in general section.
Firstly use , restore back to stock option , in that option you select/flash boot.IMG , then recovery.
Then in modder ...
Re unlock bootloader .
Flash twrp 3 0 2 M1
Then root.
When finished .
Reboot to twrp 3 0 2 M1 and flash / install twrp 3 0 3 3 zip.
Clean install first official nightly linOS and pico gapps 7.1 (x86)
When set up.
Install ,dirty flash latest linOS
BTW ? Ze551ml ???
Z00A ?

Ok , go back to modder - return to stock option again -- boot.img recovery.img - reboot to stock recovery , adb sideload stock M 4 21 40 134 .
when set up - factory reset in settings .
repeat 1st post -- remember to back up stock .134 first so you can always revert to stock .
But one more thing first to try before trying the above :good:
Flash back 3 0 2 M1 and flash Cleanstock rom in android development section
