If you get the deleted files, you can install them back or if you have recovery and a custom ROM's, just dirty flash your zip rom.
What ROM do you have?

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew a fix for the android is upgrading, optimizing apps # of # message thats been popping up after every boot? I'm on LG Optimus G Pro e980. My bootloader is unlocked so could I just flash the stock rom with CWM? and maybe that will put it back to normal because factory reset isnt doing the job completely.
ICS did it and now Jelly Bean is going to do it.
I wonder if at all you'll find a solution, because I don't think you'll find one.
Oh ok

What.... It's your kernel it sounds like. Did u flash a custom kernel?

It also does that when you wipe the cache in recovery. What recovery are you running? And kernel?
I'm running the kernel from hkfriends and cwm recovery

If I was u, I would flash twrp and see if that fixes it. Let us know what happens.

Hey all, looking to make my phone stockish again and I have TWRP installed and want to get the CWM reinstalled to restore my original backup. I've already done everything though FreeGee ect, and tried to reinstall CWM through that but it was a no go. Can anyone point me to an .img file for CWM that will work with E980, I saw one for E988 but wasn't sure it it would work. Thanks for any help!
Just use freegee.

Use cf-auto root, you may have to be in stock recovery though I'm not sure, so flash back to stock just in case and then flash cf-auto root, after that you will be rooted.. Of course since you have a custom recovery you can also just flash a custom ROM if you wish

I would like to flash eXtremeBeats but how do I do that with no recovery for the G3?
There is a recovery which is actually an app, don't remember where I found it but that will allow you to flash mods/addons, I wouldn't suggest flashing roms that way though because it is not fail safe.

Flashify.
I used it a few times on my G2 without issues.
No idea if it works on the G3

Not working with G3.
Unzip It and remove the important files... Eg: apk. Install manually
