It seems every time I try to login it does not allow me.
I know its not just me as I've seen forum / threads such as http://www.xda-developers.com/snapchat-is-at-it-again-and-blocks-root-users-but-for-how-long/
Now is there a way around it ? I've tried rootcloak and that didint work.
Thanks all for the great help.

Hmm not had this issue on my M9 or Nexus 6 both custom rom, root etc
Snapchat detects xpose not root. All you have to do is uninstall expose and sign in to Snapchat. Once you're signed in reinstall xpose and you're good to go. Just don't use modules like snapprefs etc.
That's what worked for me. Signed in while still rooted.

hello all, I appreciate any help you can give me. I also apologize if this has already been answered, as I couldn't find anything that worked for me.
I've recently been logged out of Snapchat, and when I tried to log back in, I was met with an error, which seems to be a pretty common issue with Xposed users.
so since I have the Verizon g4, I cant flash the uninstall zip with a custom recovery. FlashFire allows me to choose the zip and it appears to shut down and then turn back on ~45 seconds later, but the Xposed framework is still installed. I read another thread where someone mentioned that updating to v79 of Xposed and then uninstalling worked, but it doesn't work for me, as v74 is still installed.
I'm lost on options at the moment, besides a factory reset

As already mentioned, snapchat won't work with xposed installed.
Just uninstall it, install snapchat and install xposed again. You will be able to use it without issue
It doesn't even work by uninstalling xposed anymore. We think the Snapchat devs got a bit more clever. Any new solutions? I really don't want to remove root (on Samsung S7edge)

https: just type add this link to youtube link: "watch?v=WAR3p9hXAYs"
and follow his steps i'm sure it will work.
Sometimes snapchat just crashes a couple of seconds after opening it or sometimes it doesn't but when I try to open someones story it just crashes.
I can provide logs if someone can explain how to do it
To add to this, I've tried it on 1.9 and it doesn't work. This problem is all of the sudden and it used to work. I've tried uninstalling root and xposed and factory resetting none of which work. It works fine on CM13 and 14.1 but suddenly it stops working here.
Id also like to add that on freedom OS snapchat wont work since snapchat can sense if you are rooted. I think there is a way around like that root cloak app but havent tried it out yet. Anyone find a way around ?

You can login to snapchat if you aren't rooted. If you are rooted and need to login just uninstall it through the supersu app.
This again. You won't be able to log in ONLY if you have xposed framework installed. It's not "sensing" root.
It's crashing because you probably are using a custom kernel with cb. Snapchat works fine with stock kernel.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
I'm using stock everything, have never went custom on my OP3 and it crashes every time when I open it.

SuperSu>Settings>Scroll down and look for full unroot
Do not attempt to restore stock boot.img. It will prompt you to, but click no and restart
Lately snapchat has not let me in and i know its due to safetynet but is there anyway i can get around this. And if there is may you provide a step by step guide. Thankyou in advance.
I would check out this thread. Helped me alot

Firstly, flash the xposed uninstaller. Boot up your phone. Install Snapchat. Login. Install Titanium Backup if you don't have. Take a backup of Snapchat. Flash xposed zip. Open Snapchat.
1 of the 2 things will happen:
Snapchat will work properly, then you don't need to do anything.
Second, if it asks for login, close the app and restore from Titanium Backup.
Yes i have tried this method before with no luck as of lately. This used to work for me before but now it does not.
It just logs me in then straight out.
I was having that issue. I found the same things others have said; I used to be able to log in after uninstalling Xposed. But recently I was only able to log in after uninstalling Xposed and unrooting. Of course after doing so and logging in successfully, I reinstalled Xposed and rerooted and everything works fine.

Hi...i too couldn't log in... So i tried unrooting first from the su app...it warned me that the phone might not boot...i did it and as the warning the phone did not boot...i then went to the recovery and flashed my rom again... Cleared cache and rebooted... Now i could log on to snapchat without root... Cheers... This method worked for me... Don't know the logic behind it... Phone was still rooted...
Fairly new to rooting and stuff so ignore the "noobness" of my words. So i recently rooted my OnePlus 5T using Magisk v16. Everything was and is working smoothly all the apps work even google pay. But today i tried checking the saftey net status using magisk and i get an error saying "response is invalid" i am not sure what that means. I used a root checker app to check the saftey net compatibility status and it says Failed. I am not sure if it's failing how are all of the apps from google play work fine? What is wrong.
Again i am fairly new to the lingo so please if someone can explain what exactly saftey net test is and how can i fix this issue so that it passes. Any help is appreciated.
We can't fix it buddy :silly:

Something is definitely down.
Currently everyone just fails safetynet worldwide.
They get the invalid response error.
It should be fine and you should be able to use all your apps.
What i did notice that cause of this i cant see some apps in the play store so you have to use apkmirror to get them.

You can check the safetynet status with root checker!
