FAQ
I get error 7 while flashing this rom, what does it mean?
Read what the recovery says: "You're running on an unsupported (Kitkat) baseband". In order to flash the lastest CM builds you must have Miui MM baseband and partition layout installed. Visit http://bit.ly/cancroCMBaseband to learn how to update these
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Are these gapps working with cm13?
Use the suggested package
Why no nightly today?
There was a compilation issue
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel. This applies to 12.1 -> 13.0 too
Why no ?
Because this is CyanogenMod
Will you add ?
I won't. If you want that, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Tried clean flash of jfltexx cm12 to 9505G. Using twrp 2.8.3.0 for jgedlte, ext4. Getting "E: error executing binary updater in zip" then "E: unable to mount /system." CM11 was able to flash jfltexx to jgedlte, guess this isn't true for CM12?
Finally! Thx antares!

First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root acces > Apps Only
Are these gapps <insert random gapps package here> working with cm12.1?
Use the suggested package
Why today I got no nightly?
There were a build error or it means there's something wrong with the rom and I've choosen to stop nightlies until the problem gets fixed
Why is TDB not working / supported?
Official CyanogenMod support requies Encryption support. With TDB we can't have an encrypted userdata partition, otherwhise one system will be able to use it and the other won't
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel.
Why no <insert miui feature here>?
Because this is CyanogenMod

For p9000 build 5, for lite build 2
Hi all ^^
recently I bought 2 Elephone P9000Lite. Unfortunately on the official store they say it has the Gyroscope, but I understand that it's not true ç_ç
Can you confirm that P9000 Lite has not an hardware Gyroscope?
So I decided to try to root one and than try to install XPosed + Mock Mock Locations and VirtualSensor (Virtual Gyroscope). To do this I want also to install a custom ROM + Opengapps....sooooooo @Deepflex thank you for your work ^^ I'll wait your new version!
have a nice day!
Hopefully new build comes soon, as i saw you fixing the bt stuff
So, from what I've seen here, no new builds are planed for P9000 lite (until the final release where everything sorta works), are they?

Reporting bugs
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
DO NOT report bugs if you've modifies system files
DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

F.A.Q.
Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Why no nightly today?
Build failed. Check again tomorrow
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
Why no <insert miui feature here>?
Because this is CyanogenMod
Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Dirty flash works over Android (and CM) upgrades, even across major versions. Data wipe is only required if you switch to a completely different ROM (or if you get bootloops ).
Anyone who has installed this please provide a brief review and stress on these

Thanks for keeping bacon updated
Yay! Its official,thanks.
Awesome. Now we should see our beloved ROMs starting to roll in.
I'm surprised to see an official CM Nougat for bacon. Thank you for your efforts! This definitely will extend the OPO's effective lifespan to three years!
Amazing. Opengapps 7.1 mentions a patch should be applied on the ROM, is this part of cm14. 1 already?
Finally!
Anyone tested SuHide with this? Thanks for official cm!
Tried it out yesterday. Had 2 issues
1. Got an "CM Bug Report" error everytime I would reboot phone (not a biggie).
2. Android Pay didn't work (deal breaker).
Back on Sultan CM13. Hopefully the above gets fixed soon or once stable version is released. Everything else seemed to work without a problem.
Glad to hear it. Thanks! Downloading right away.

No, Cyanogen Inc. is done supporting the OPO. They are not obligated to make COS14.1 nor will they. They are not like the selfless community devs; they're in it for profit and there's no profit to be made making COS14.1 Bacon.

Color OS camera partially working with this ROM - Front camera & Beauty mode doesn't work. Main camera works. Is there a better camera we can flash/install in this CM 14.1.. I don't like this stock camera comes with the Nightly.

Try Oxygen OS camera port of OnePlus 2/3 . It worked with many other ROMs.
Maybe you can test it and tell me back.
