Question - Multi ROM for Nexus 5X - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anybody knows about ongoing developments for posting Tasssadar's MultiROM for our device. I couldn't get any clue on googling?

Hello,
if MultiROM will be available, you will able to download it here. Please be patient.
Kind regards

Where is thre multirooom!!!

Tassadar doesn't have official MultiROM available for the Nexus 5X, but jollaman999 maintains an excellent unofficial MultiROM. Plus, many custom kernels for the Nexus 5X already have the kexec-hardboot patch required to be compatible.

My phone is a nexus 5x 7.1.1 nougat with bootloader and root permission.
thx for the answer.
You don't need multirom to run nethunter.
Without multirom you can install and run Kali Nethunter in Nexus 5x. You can either follow the XDA thread here (Not much of a tutorial) or this step by step guide here which is tested by me and found working- Kali Nethunter Installation Tutorial for Nexus 5x

Lineage OS problem, mobile hotspot not working

Hello,
I am new there so I don't know if this is the proper forum for that type of question.
I use Samsung Galaxy s5 Neo smg903F running Lineage OS 14.1 unofficial build, and I have a problem: mobile portable hotspot doesn't work, when I click on the enable icon I just get an error.
Is there any solution arround this issue?

There seems to be 2 threads that's specific to the Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 where your more likely to be able to locate/post this question and receive a better answer from a member who also has this specific device and Firmware.

I'm not brushing you off but, providing just a few, more appropriate, locations for receiving the support/input regarding your device and Firmware.
I wish you the best of luck!

Sailfish OS 3 on OnePlus 5T

Hi is there anyone who can port Sailfish OS on our 5T?
Also how many are interested?
https://sailfishos.org/develop/hadk/
SDK is now available
Wonder if a sailfish os gsi is possible
Initial OnePlus 5T (dumpling) builds!
Hey all! Just wanted to drop by and say that I've been porting Sailfish OS to the OnePlus 5 for a while now and just recently adapted the existing sources and got a flashable zip built for dumpling!
The main thread that I mainly follow is here (and dumpling post specifically here), tho I can also try to follow this one too in case the port is horribly broken right now on the 5T etc.
Enjoy testing!

Nexus 7 2012 (Grouper)?

I can't seem to find any mention of a LineageOS build for the Nexus 7 2012 (grouper). I know there has to be, because I'm running 14.1 on mine right now. Does anyone know where I can find an updated build, or something similarly lightweight?
*Edit* Nevermind! I just saw that I have an unofficial build. So I guess now my question is: any 15.x build for grouper?

There's never been any Official LineageOS builds for this specific device. All that's available to you is the following Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 for your device. There's no LineageOS 15.1 released yet but, that's not to state that there will never be one either.

You can always try to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device as well.

Good Luck!

Phone for LOS

Hello,
I wanted to choose a phone for LOS but I hesitate between:
Mi 8
One Plus 6
I see that for the moment both have no official support, do you think it will happen for both?
What do you think ?
After I wondered, if I have an older version of stock android and I install a recent version of custom ROM, will it upgrade the kernel version and android?
Thank you

I don't have either devices and your correct with no existing Official LineageOS builds for either device at this point in time but, your best bet is to go with one of the Unofficial builds. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within one of them as well.
Here's a list of threads that reflects the Unofficial LineageOS for them...
1 Unofficial LineageOS 16.0 build for the OnePlus 6 (enchilada):

Thank you for your help, I see that the official version of LOS is 15.1, how is it that the non-official is in version 16?
If I flash an unofficial rom and the official goes out, I'll have to go into stock-rom and flash the custom rom again?

I don't see any Official LineageOS released yet but, to cross to and from Official to Unofficial would require starting over again.
Device/Firmware specific questions for them should be asked within those threads to receive a more accurate answer.
Good Luck!
