Hello everyone.
Has anyone used the Duracell replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Note; depicted in the attachment below?
:silly:
This looks interesting just because of a trustworthy brand name. Just looking on the web for it I can see huge price differences between different suppliers. Unfortunately it is not in stock at my local supplier with stock arriving some time in April. Definitely will give it a go as it states 3 year manufacturers warranty on the suppliers page. Thanks for the find!
yes, i use it for nearly one year now. It was a little bigger than the original one. So i had removed the plastic cover and hone down the bottom of this battery a little bit.
BUT this battery is more powerful than all the other replacement that i have bought before.

This showed up today for $14.60:

Looks kinda ugly.
If you're not familiar with DealExtreme, be prepared to wait a month or more for your item - they all ship from China. But the shipping's built into the price.

Plus usually their stuff is not to bad..
This had me a little worried:
- Replaces your broken or damaged original palm pre battery
with most chinese batteries not even being 70% of their claimed mah, looks like alot of extra bulk for very little battery life. an extra 300-400mah MAYBE.
Looks like the same one sold by boxwave.com which is pretty good company. I've ordered stuff from boxwave before.

battery
Well for getting batteries, i never deal with dealextreme, as its not reliable. I usually order my electronic accessories so as batteries with Chinabuye, reliable and well made quality. They are online store from China, i find i get all latest hitech gadgets and their accessories at best rate. My batteries working so far so good! Worth it!!
why are all the larger batteries LiPo?
after dealing with them in airsoft there is no way i would put one of these in my pocket.
and in the fact that they are cheap chinese batteries and you have a recipe for napalm to your genitals.
Dear Friends,
I just wanted to give a heads up that you should not buy the battery from foneshop.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Galaxy-2100-mAh-Battery/dp/B007Y8VJP6
As you can see I have left a review, the battery is fake, it is not genuine as the qr code is fake, the labels are different, NFC does not work and the item does not come in original packaging (so no warranty on your phone or battery if something goes wrong). I just wanted to warn everyone to stay away, I am now in the unfortunate position, as the seller does not reply to any emails. So save yourself a head ache
Thank you I was actually thinking about buying a battery from then thanks for the heads up
Sent from my Samsung SPH-L710 running AOKP Jelly Bean build!!
too late
I ordered two of them and got cheated i bought mine from Hadi Tech
Your right the QR code is not recognised and the packaging was a plastic bag.
Do you know what I could do? maybe sent it back a get a refund?
I do want genuine batteries so if I buy it from amazon.co.uk seller(unstead of third party) will I get a genuine one?
heres the pic of the battery against the real one, the real one is dated 2012.06.16 and has a little bump at the bottom which the fake doesnt have it

yeah the absence of the bump means that there is no nfc, as the antenna isnt there.
Personally I started a mini campaign against the seller (thus this thread), sent 2 emails threatening actions, wrote a very bad review on them and made sure all the other reviews had a comment to let them know theirs might be fake. The seller got in contact with me, apologised and sent me a free original Samsung battery with proper packaging (received it today ). So I am somewhat happy now, I suggest you nag them as much as you can, or raise a claim with Amazon if the seller isnt doing anything.
Also forgot to mention, the seller has closed his listing on amazon, so it looks like 1-0 to me
amazon.co.uk/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&isAmazonFulfilled=1&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&isCBA=&asin=&seller=A38IW41IS26FWW i put a really bad review on it haha
I cant contact the seller :/ and if i send the item back then i have to spend more money to buy genuine batteries(also i spent £8 to get guranteed next day deivery-which would be wasted) ill just try to confront the seller
just noticed that they keep changing their name so they will probably just make another account and scam more people
I saw selling on ebay copies of the book cover equal to the original ; It lacks only embossed Samsung logo .
http://www.ebay.it/itm/221940188127...28934099&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&rmvSB=true
because they cost about 10 € , compared with € 40 on amazon but original , I wanted to know if it was appropriate including these fake copies , if the only difference was the lack of the Samsung brand.
someone did try / buy / views these copies of the original book cover ?
I have this one
On alieexpress. My wife has the original and I have this one. I cannot see the difference between the two. Also the number of orders and amount of feedback provides confidence.
Also Aliexpress has a pretty good buyers protection.
edit: the screen protector included is junk, don't use it.
He has written samsung ? does the packaging as the original ?
I finally I got to 40 € the original one from amazon . On aliexpress unfortunately it takes 30 days for shipping .
I recently bought the original 8" case from ebay UK, for £15.95 (21 euros) (23.45 USD)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-O...051684?hash=item2eef4943a4:g:MQwAAOSwvU5XNFUQ
The listing is currently showing as ended. But, maybe contact the seller to check when extra stock will be available.
Or search ebay (whichever country) for EF-BT715PBEGWW
There are still available at around half the price of Samsung's own site.
I got an original samsung cover on eBay for $17.99. I'm assuming it's real because the quality is amazing. It was brand new but not in original packaging.

I bought a fake one on ebay, and it was very easy to scratch. It looked identical to the OEM one with the Samsung logo and "Made in Vietnam" text, but I only needed to drag my fingernail across it to leave a permanent mark. I bought a real one from Best Buy and it is much more durable. I can drag a fingernail across it without leaving any marks. You can definitely tell the difference.

If it's doesn't come with the original package, it's not original, many of these cases from china do offer real good quality, but doesn't mean it's original.

I have the original one in white, i have it about 10 months now, still 98% new, just the corner slightly discolored, won't be using it any more in the next few day, I will be trading my S2 soon, it's showing sign of the weird functionality and sometimes go haywired, although cosmetic looks is like 100%, and I hate going through samsung repair center, they are a pain.:fingers-crossed:
Even the fake one will likely come from the same factory and made of the same materials. Ghost shift production is a real thing.

I agree with this comment, it's how china and many countries make extra money, out of the contract with the large companies.
Hi just ordered a battery for the LG V20 and it was supposed to be OEM and 100% brand new. However, when I received the battery, there was a black tape over the LG logo. This raised some red flags. Taking a closer look, the label on the battery has more slightly bolded letters compared to the original and the sticker itself is not applied to the battery nearly as well as the original. Another concern is the manufacture date on the battery says 2016.07.07[L]. The LG V20 was released on September 6th and didn't go on sale for another two months! What should I do about this? Is this likely a counterfeit? And do I contact LG, Ebay, or the seller?
Here is the link to the battery on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252701172837?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
P.S. I would attach a picture I took comparing the two batteries, but cna't figure out how to do that.
Thanks
I'd say contact the seller first. If they won't let you return then contact ebay. If you paid with Paypal they usually assist you for a resolution.
Yea I never get extra batteries from eBay anymore because they're all counterfeit no matter what the description says. Your only option is Amazon, IMO.
eBay is great for cases tho. I've gotten a few counterfeit cases on previous phones that were the same and better than the real ones because they fixed certain issues that the real cases had.

Don't order batteries or sdcard off of eBay too many fakes, amazon is better but I would make sure you get it from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller.

Find a local dealer for batteries that warrenties them. If your paying 15$ you get what you pay for, oem should run 40-50$ per battery
anything less its consumers fault for buying a cheap-o knock off, its like anything else. And why risk your safety with a EL-Cheapo?
Didnt anyone learn that lithium is dangerous and its not something to take lightly? NOTE 7?? Those knock offs dont go through ANY quality tests, and usually dont even have the resistors on the top of battery for protection.
Just google search cheap batteries from ebay, youll see what im talking about.. Stay away from Ebay and Amazon for this stuff. Same exact marketplace style, just 2 different parent companies.
east coast has store called ( Batteries Plus And Bulbs ) find a place similar and do biz local.
1 for exchanges and issues, 2 because you have a place to hold accountable and verify reputation.
We see this all the time on batteries.
Just order the cradle pack https://www.amazon.com/LG-Battery-Charging-BCK-5200-Charger/dp/B01M5C23SV it has everything included and is quite cheap.
It might be safe but performance probably won't be the best. Contact the seller and he should resolve it for you, he obviously knows they're fake and won't risk the bad feedback. A guy on eBay with a few thousand feedback would never have these amounts of official LG replacements fyi. They're easily found online just be more careful next time.
Hello
I want to use My Nexus is my backup phone. Can anyone recommend a good battery. I ordered one from Aliexpress but it didn't ship and was refunded. Since it is my first android phone, I have a lot of memory with it
I've bought many batteries and only a few of them were good. unfortunately there is no way to tell which one will be good, because they are all "fakes". the companies responsible aren't taking credit, which means they also aren't bragging about how good their battery is, or what their track record is. my advice is 2 things: try to find listings that show the date of the battery's construction, or a picture of the actual battery itself, showing a date printed on the label. it is important to get a new battery. I think newer means more likely to not be garbage. and #2: if you want to spend more, there are a couple companies around the world that do sell galaxy nexus batteries with their name brand on them. buying one of these might cost $50 shipped to you, but going this way would prevent you needing to buy 5x $10 batteries like I did. I would link you to the ebay listings of the ones I bought, but they'd all be dead links by now! good luck!
