You need to unlock bootloader first. How can you get inside of house if main door is locked?
Unlock bootloader and flash.

Hi,
I never had this problem with other devices.
I have rooted my xperia z1c and installed custom recovery following the tutorial on xda. I was able to install xposed on kitkat and playing around with all sorts of rooted goodies ...
After that I tried no 3 times ! 3 different 5.0 custom roms. I followed the steps including wiping etc. Everytime I am ending up on a black screen with doing a reset through sonys software with the original unrooted rom.
I think I managed it one time to install a custom 4.4.4 rom without a problem. MAybe it has something to do with lollipop. Do I have to install a certain custom rom before installing a lollipop rom ? After flashing the rom I flashed the recovery fix btw. But I wasnt able to enter recovery mod ( black screen ) The phone seemed to work fine ( sony software deteced the phone instantly )
Any ideas?

Possibly not a new idea, as I believe you already did that, but, did you unlock the Bootloader?

to be honest I am not sure .. I used fastbood for installing the firmware , I think I didn´t. Do I need to unlock the bootloader to install custom roms cause I installed one without a problem ( 4.4.4 )
OK I check it. I didnt unlock my bootload so thanks for that .. but why was it possible to install a custom kitkat rom ?

Some custom roms use stock kernel. Stock kernel works with locked bootloader. If you want to run a CM based rom, you will need to unlock the bootloader, but make sure you make a backup of your TA partition first.
Unlocking the bootloader disables some of the Sony software and camera features.
These roms will work with a locked bootloader, but just flash the rom, don't flash anything - kernel/recovery after
[ROM][Custom][Privacy Guard][Leds][UB LB] D5503_14.4.A.0.108
[ROM][Z1C][.157][LB/UB]DstrikerZ1 Kai ROM 4.7
[Z1 series][LB/UB][Advanced]RockZ1k_V-2.1
[Z1C-D5503]KitSlim_AMG [Evo 9]

Each device is different which is why you need to read instructions first.

can u boot in bootloder?
if yes, flash a custom recovery and apply this nandroid to go to stock rom, replace your custom recovery with stock and lock your bootloder to return to officiall mode of your phone.

If you have a working fastboot in your pc then follow these steps:
1. copy compatible recovery.img into the fastboot folder.
2.go to bootloader and type this command: fastboot boot recovery.img .

My Z5P 6853, i did unlock bootloader yesterday in 5.1 ( 32.0.A.6.200 ), now i flash back to 6.0 (MM 32.2.A.0.305 ), but flash could not be done, I try in many MM ftf , but all error and stuck after SONY logo ( if I flash back 5.1 , the phone will be work fine )
what flashtool version you are using?
download latest flashtool, re download the ftf from that version and then flash!

If you have an unlocked bootloader you can just flash a current fastboot image.

The link I posted. It uses the recovery to install official software so you don't need an unlocked bootloader.
