[MOD] Theme you xperia M Stock Rom via Xposed installer - Sony Xperia M

Hi friends
are you bored of your Stock rom UI ..?
So here's a new themes and mods where you can easily customize your Stock rom with some nice xposed modules
I Know its not new i mean its already there but i just want to make you feel good in using it for who doesnt have a idea about this
Lets start
Before installing it make sure to backup your current data and everything with a recovery. It is recommended because some modules gonna overrides system defaults so incase if you want to revert back to stock experiance for that u must backup your rom/ if not also not a problem u can flash stock firmware and can get back your stock experiance
1. Download and install xposed installer
here is the video how to install it
2. Now its time for to download modules , open xposed installer there u will see a list of profiles containing framework, modules, download, settings etc.. you just need to hit download and search for modules there
3. Some of the recommended modules for customization
--->Android theme engine (to theme your status and navigation bars icons, colors etc..,)
--->AppOpsXposed (to manage permissions for apps installed in your phone like restricting apps to use your contacts, location,sd card access etc...,)
--->Gem Xperia Xposed (to theme your xperia launcher, system ui )
---> Gravity box
--->Serajir Xperia Xposed
--->Xblast tools
--->Xstana (to change your status and navigation bar icons)
--->Youtube Adway (to block ads in youtube while streaming)
and to theme your launcher follow this guide
Sorry for not detailing about how to use mods but not a problem u can find easily videos on youtube
and its just a little brain work if you know how to use one mod and you can easily know how to use the other mods
IF you have any doubts pls feel free to post you comments

[MOD] V20F bell / atnt / xxx Kronic BlueMod v4.3 / V5 / V5.1

Kronic BlueMod V 4.3 / V5.1 for 4.2 framework
- i posted v5 on a reply... wasn't thinking it's on page 1.
- it is normal for first boot to take a long time after flashing mod, during this time the system is updating the cache partitions new drawables etc because system files changed. 1-3 minutes maybe. if it starts to take really long then flash backup zip or reflash the rom you were using to patch the files back to normal, this shouldn't really happen though unless you get currupt download or flash to incompatible rom.
for bell based v20f, also works on most other v20f but some icons may need to be swapped.
- to backup original ui, make a copy of this zip, open the copy with 7-zip, replace /system/app/systemui.apk and /system/framework/framework-res.apk with the CURRENT ones from your phone (adb pull them or something) then rename the copied zip originalUI.zip and put it on your sdcard, in case something goes wrong you can reflash it to go back to default.
- to install just flash the zip in recovery mode, do not wipe cache partitions, the android OS will update them when it sees changed files.
enjoy!!!!
p.s. i don't take responsibility for you breaking your phone.
if you aren't confident in moding these files, but you want something changed just post what it is and i'll do my best to provide you with a personal patch. if there is an icon i missed on the rom you use, let me know and i'll update. (many roms use differant icons)
- if this doesn't work with your rom you can request that i write one specifically for your rom and i may do it.
i do intend on adding other color versions of this so feel free to request colors.
this UI mod is intended to make the amazingly stable and battery friendly v20f a real option by making it pretty.
other additions i recommend are:
power toggles (has a homescreen widget that add's reboot menu with recovery option and bypasses reflashing on reboot by this i just mean a faster reboot by using a root reboot command instead of stock reboot which takes forever)
pocket skip track (allows you do add screen off track switching functionality to stock roms.)
mx camera (gives you hdr camera options without removing 1080p video capabilities like cm10.1)
apex launcher (jelly bean style launcher with lots of options)
exdialer ( a good free dialer with some really nice theme's i bought a payed one for 2 dollars or something that's black and blue)
MHL works on stock roms (micro usb -> hdmi -> tv)
the rom i recommend to run with this is
the legend Ho!No!'s v20f mod 2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2185178
happy texting !!!
the other feature of this is it should theoretically run smoother than stock files due to less compression.
i will also be posting email.apk LGMms.apk LGCalendar.apk with some better black theme's
this mod is not new but i'm just trying to make a universal one for v20f now, i already have alot of happy users.
--added in 4.3 is standard black background with blue text (on title bar) for any apps or widgets that use default framework values, so far on mine it works for quite a few.
i don't think this will work on roms that aren't deodexed
Kronics BlueMod V5
V5.1 has a few divider fixes and the tab for slider panels/quicksettings in status_bar_expanded
the lockscreen is for pattern lock check attachment if u wanna see it
the screenshot for the quicksettings panel is from before the cyan color was fixed to neon blue
screenshot 16 is V4.3 the others are 5.0, in 5.1 the bottom tab color is fixed on screenshot 26
in 5.0+ BlueMod tag is removed i decided the average person probably doesn't want it.
in 5.1 the bottom bar in expanded panel color is fixed
- i did more work to framework-res to change more of the default backgrounds and font color's for 3rd party apps and such, there are a few system apps that i think have to be modded individually because it didn't apply for them, but you should see some of your apps starting to inherit the theme.
for the pattern lock mod, i disable the showing of the lines because it's extremely hard to mod, it's done in some equation in a smali file somewhere that is differant location on most phones, until someone that has a strong grasp of smali that uses LG phones takes a look i can't mod that
reserved for secondary files
if you want to learn to do your own mod's, or fix something i missed on your rom, the tutorial can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2362717
Kronics BlueMod v5
This has only been tested on the rom with 4.2 framework v20f, if someone wants to try flashing it on a non updated framework v20f and let me know if it works that is cool, if not i'll do it when i get a chance, if u do it backup your original files to a flash first.
i already fixed the highligher on the bottom tab for settings panel that is slightly the wrong color (greenish) coming in next update
i'm currently investigating the issue that is causing long reboots on every reboot instead of the first one after install. it doesn't seem to be affecting system performance but i know that is probably annoying people so i'm looking into fixing it.
edit i wiped all drives and installed the rom without the mod and it was only 15 seconds or so faster boot, i think this rom just has a long boot (the 4.2 framework one)

All are relatively late. I just didn't like the latest album as it has sony bloat. You can go to settings/apps and see exactly what version it is. Settings: as usual, theme accents do apply, but light background stays. I took the the original Settings.apk in this rom, decompiled it and changed colors. You should have no problems installing apps from eXistenZ as that rom is mostly white too.

You can replace all apps, but those that require changes in framework-res.apk or other apps in framework directory won't work. Good luck...

Requirement:-
1.Custom REcovery (very imp)
2.make nandroid backup before doing anything
3.xposed framework.apk
4. li'l bit common knowledge
5.modules
In this thread, I'm presenting a framework which gives you the possibility to modify your ROM - without modifying any APK (developers) or flashing (users)!
Quote:
Quick guide what kind of posts is allowed in this thread and what is not allowed.
If you don't follow the rules, you might get notified (sometimes friendly, sometimes angrily) that you're doing it wrong, but your post might as well be ignored.
NO posts without reading at least the first two posts and searching the thread => I and other people have spent hundreds of hours developing and supporting Xposed, we expect at least this much of respect
NO support for any modules here => use the module's forum instead, don't even try to post here
NO questions whether there is a module for XYZ exists => check the builtin repository and this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2327541
NO requests for new modules => check this thread if it has been requested before, otherwise ask nicely there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2327541
NO, you don't get any support via PM either => for the points above, do as pointed out, for allowed things always post in this thread (unless you want to share logs with sensitive data)
YES, you can report bugs for the framework => make sure that you followed the instructions and can reproduce it without any active modules
YES, you can get support if you have issues with the Xposed Installer (e.g. you can't install the framework) => make sure you read the instructions and searched in the thread for similar problems
YES, I will support module developers with specific questions (e.g. how to hook a certain method) => you must have read the development tutorial and give as much context as needed to make it easy for me or others to answer (code always helps!)
YES, you can suggest new features for the API (as a module developer) or the Xposed Installer here => again, no requests about modules
For a quick start, have a look at XDA's "Android Basics 101" on Xposed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRR0Flqx9M8
Some technical details:
I extended the /system/bin/app_process executable to load a JAR file on startup. The classes of this file will sit in every process (including the one for system services) and can act with their powers. And even more: I have implemented something that allows developers to replace any method in any class (may it be in the framework, systemui or a custom app). This makes Xposed very powerful. You can change parameters for the method call, modify the return value or skip the call to the method completely - it's all up to you! Also replacing or adding resources is easy.
Advantages:
No need to modify any APKs. This means:
No need to decompile, change things in smali, compile, sign, ...
It will work for odexed and deodexed ROMs.
Your mod is not bound to a specific version of the ROM. Unless there is a major change in the methods called for a certain functionality, your mod will continue to work even when you upgrade your ROM. Hell, it will probably even work with different ROMs.
Multiple mods can be installed at the same time, even if they change the same package. So you can use these battery icons and those quick toggles. Even hooking the same method twice is possible. Of course, this only works properly if the mods are not trying to do incompatible things.
It does its magic at runtime. That means you can implement options to let the user decide if they prefer the bikeshed to be painted in red or blue. Or you can have some extra logic for certain ROMs without building different mod versions.
It can be disabled easily without having to reflash.
It's open source.
Download:
You can download the installer from http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk. The attached disabler zip is only needed if you are in a boot loop.
An experimental version for Gingerbread made by liudongmiao can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...4#post44034334 (no support from my side though)
How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone/tablet/rice cooker.
There is also the risk to soft-brick your device. In such a case, restoring a backup is the easiest way to get rid of it (other possibilities mentioned below).
For the framework:
Download the Xposed Installer APK and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
In case you get a Segmentation Fault error, please install this additional app (not needed if the installation worked fine).
Reboot
Done!
You can verify this by starting the Xposed Installer again. If app_process jumped back to an older version (or none at all), you probably have a ROM with S-On or similar, which reverts any changes to /system after a reboot. Use installation via recovery in such cases.
For any modules you want to install:
Download <module>.apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" section (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
Enable the module by checking the checkbox
Reboot
Done!
(note that you can install the framework and enable/disable multiple modules at once and reboot afterwards)
In case you get into a boot loop:
First, try using the safemode by pressing any hardware key repeatedly. You can find a short explanation how it works here.
If that doesn't work, you can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
Modules:
The official repository for Xposed modules, which can also be access from within the app itself (with download/update support), can be found at http://repo.xposed.info
You can also have a look at this index: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2327541
Please don't use this thread for problems with modules! Use the thread of the module instead.
How to write a module:
If you are an interested developer, give it a try. The development tutorial will help you get started. Further documentation (e.g. how to replace resources) is here. And of course, you can ask your development questions in this thread.
If you have suggestions for new functions the framework could provide (which means they should be useful for more than your module), you can do this here as well. However, requests that I or somewhen else should write a module for xyz are NOT allowed here. Again, this thread is only about the framework.

What is What
What is an ODEX file?
In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These ‘odex’ files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
What is an DEODEX file?
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating the worry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
So, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity.
How this works?
For the majority noobs amongst us, Android OS uses a Java-based virtual machine called the Dalvik Virtual Machine. A deodexed or .dex file contains the cache used by this virtual machine (referred to as Dalvik-cache) for a program, and it is stored inside the APK. An .odex file, on the other hand, is an optimized version of this same .dex file that is stored next to the APK as opposed to inside it. Android applies this technique by default to all the system applications.
When an Android-based system is booting, the davlik cache for the Davlik VM is built using these .odex files, allowing the OS to learn in advance what applications will be loaded, and thus speeds up the booting process.
By deodexing these APKs, a developer actually puts the .odex files back inside their respective APK packages. Since all code is now contained within the APK itself, it becomes possible to modify any application package without conflicting with the operating system’s execution environment.
Advanteges & Disadvantages
The advantage of deodexing is in modification possibilities. This is most widely used in custom ROMs and themes. A developer building a custom ROM would almost always choose to deodex the ROM package first, since that would not only allow him to modify various APKs, but also leave room for post-install theming.
On the other hand, since the .odex files were supposed to quickly build the dalvik cache, removing them would mean longer initial boot times. However, this is true only for the first ever boot after deodexing, since the cache would still get built over time as applications are used. Longer boot times may only be seen again if the dalvik cache is wiped for some reason.

Sony For Awesome Apps and Every thing they gave use
it seems a very good job my friend ....(i am litle noob) . I like it when people like you makes stock rom with customizing : D
follow you allready. keep going
my friendly regards.
p.s sry for my english
ok i just done it and i make my 1st boot with this rom.... it looks great,i go to odex side
i hope to support us with customs staff
flashing time... hope to not brick my phone
seems very very good job
what about bug fix in download section?
after flashing all of this when i configure my rom i shoul install bug fixer?
it will worked on z1compact?
cheers!
Looks very complicated from the pics but it's not So basically I have to replace the files in the rom zip with the files from the merge zip and then make it a new zip. And what is the bug fixer for ? Where do i put it, or do i flash it ?
ok one by one
1)st question. the Nut it says to me the torrent file that is 4,84GB ....why? it put the files in to zip again if you unzip?and if yes flashtool can't do that?
2on) what about bug fixer???after we flash the rom .....before we do the 1st boot we flash the fixzip?
3rd)i can flash the doom kernel V22.if i want?
4th)if you like to put some bigger photos will be great!!!!
my friendly regards.
(sry about all this i am a noob)
p.s sry for my english ......
GREAT work again :good:
i have problems with reecovery installing.
i dont see any installator of nut recovery for z1c and when i download for z1 after flashing with adb my phone stuck on sony logo and now i m installing stock rom and next again your rom.
But my question is how can i install recovery?
Edit:
ok never mind i found for z1c recovery installer im very stupid hehe
its on left side of site hehe
very sad bad even with good recovery installer my phone stuck on sony logo after rebooting...
any help with these???
i even install stock kernel and after that try to install recovery but without success....
i give up....
please help with recovery installing
recovery still doesnt works....
i dont know how i can force this to works
i tried 3 times and i dont have no more time for today
ok so last time i try to find whats going on and guess what....!
recovery is preinstalled with rom....!
so there is a big mistake in procedure !!!!!
when your phone is booting up and when green light appear hold vol up or vol down (cwm or twrp)
there is a property install hint:
Edit2:
in my case there was no need to install stock kernel for z1c after installation all works after reboot.
all i v done:
1. install stock 157 rom via flashtool
2. install only kernel from 108
3. root with newroot
4. flash only kernel from 157
5. download rom and migrated files.
6. unpack rom and migrated files and repack with 7-zip (with winrar my phone doesnt recognize file)
7. install rom choosing z1c locked bootloader and stock kernel in aroma.
8. reboot
9. install stock kernel via flashtool
10. after first boot downloaded via ota 1.0.1 bux fix but must install manually because ota updater cant get into recovery and install it automaticaly.(via twrp in ota updater folder choose 1.01 bug fixes)
Does it work the ANT+ Service in these ROM?
I've DstrikerZ1 KAI ROM 4.7 ver., and lost my ANT+ HeartRateMonitor...
1. Merge procedure is mandatory only for locked bootloader?
2. Or mandatory for locked and unlocked bootloader instalation?
If yes, why is so complicated? Standard one zip flashing is better.
3. What about bug fix zip?
Fast Charging?
A saw a Z1c Rom the other day that claims it has Fast Charging feature(i don't know if its working already, though). So the question is.. will we see that in this rom? or does this rom already have that feature?
Installed on Z1C with UBL, flashed SuperSU 2.40 and DOOM Kernel; installation was smooth, OTA worked fine for the 60MB+ ROM update file; All seems to work nicely (so far), thank you for sharing.
I am sorry for late reply. My internet got broken so I was unable to reply you apologize me
If once my network is back I will edit the procedure very clearly

I may Answer such long Questions Please Follow these options:-
Follow these options
1.First all You need to Flash .157 Firmware...( if you are already with .157 firmware then no need to Flash)
2. Download the RockZ1k_rom_v1.0.zip and Merger_rom.zip
4.If You are Using A Unlocked Bootloader Then DOnt Follow these Steps. Just Flash the Rom and Ota update
(Note:- For Unlocked Bootloaders There it dont come with any recovery Because it installed. It cause conflict with custom kernel recoveries)
3. After Downloading those Two files Place it at Single Folder At your Pc
4. Extract Both of the Rom.zip and Merger.zip
5.Merge the Merger Files To rom
6.Zip the Folder As shown in the Pic TO make a Zip
7.Copy to SD card. Flash It from Recovery
8. Wipe Data/cache/dalvik is good enough
9.Follow the Instructions as Aroma
This come with recovery no need to flash a new recovery and it root.. so there is no need to install recovery or Root......
All you need is that You should with .157 Firmware
You will Get Updates From OTA with more mods

Hi!
this is the ROM where I saw the said feature.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...riaz1-ultra-stamina-mode-super-vivid-t2965204
Its included in its v3 update
"Support Fast Charge ( ST System - Overlocking - On Fast Charge )"
I really haven't flashed to this ROM yet, so I haven't really tried it out myself.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...riaz1-ultra-stamina-mode-super-vivid-t2965204
Its included in its v3 update
"Support Fast Charge ( ST System - Overlocking - On Fast Charge )"
I really haven't flashed to this ROM yet, so I haven't really tried it out myself.

Hmm very interesting because I know that our device support quick charge 2.0 or something like that and when our phone is nearly 0% that when we plug charge the 50% is achieved on 40min as I remember and when I call to Sony center they said if we plug 2A charger it can charge faster but battery very fast will have less capacity and that's why Sony gives as 1,5A chargers for better battery life.
