No LTE S6 Edge SM-G925P Sprint - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

Hello! I bought recently a SM-G925P Sprint though craiglist. It was google locked and sim locked. I was able to google unlock it and also sim unlock it. But im not able to get LTE on any carrier, just 3G. Im in Uruguay.
Its rooted with unikernel. Sim unlocked using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...e-success-sim-unlock-sprint-samsung-t3130294/
I got the SPC or MSL from the idone app and followed the steps this user said: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61758807&postcount=4 but i was not able to get LTE. LTE was already enabled and the same with Band26 and Band41. Just set band priority to 4 and 2.
Do you think there is something i can do to get LTE? Because i saw the 925P supports my country carrier bands: 2 and 4.
My country bands:
ANTEL:
GSM: 1800
WCDMA: 2100 MHz
LTE: 1700-2100 MHz (BANDA 4)
CLARO:
GSM: 900-1900 MHz
WCDMA: 1900 MHz
LTE - 1700-2100 MHz (BANDA 4)
MOVISTAR:
GSM: 850 MHz
WCDMA: 850 MHz
LTE: 1900 MHz (BANDA 2)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow
Just went outside and took LTE, return to my room and keeps with LTE hahaha. Problem fixed.
EDIT:
Did a cache wipe thought twrp and the same happens again now. It takes a lot to take LTE. Went outside and than and still didnt get lte. I have a nexus 5 too it take lte immediatly after the sim is inserted.

Wrong Forum
This is the Galaxy S6, not S6 Edge, forum.

seems hit or miss with LTE. I get LTE in NETWORK MODE "Automatic" but sometimes it gets dropped when signal is low. Seems like it prefers Sprint so it keeps searching for their signal. Sometimes it even says Sprint in lock screen. I can't provide a APN when in automatic mode. looking for a way to place APN and erase all others or a way to force APN of my choice. Seems like you and I are having the same issue, sometimes LTE sometimes just 3G. Keep me posted if you find a method. I will do the same.

[Q] Unlocked Bell Gs3 on T Mobile

I have a bell GS3 that is unlocked can I use a t mobile sim card in it and get the 3g data or is AT& T the only one that works?
The Bell site says the GS3 supports the following:
HSPA/UMTS compatibility
UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz
GPRS/EDGE compatibility
850/900/1800/1900MHz
and according to wikipedia T mobile USA has these:
850 MHz/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA
1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G .
1700 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1700 MHz LTE
So I am fairly certain that as long as the area I am in is serviced by that 1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA I should be fine right? Obviously no LTE speeds buts thats ok I dont even use it as home since it is such a battery pig.
anyone have some input it would be greatly appreciated?
I have a att gs3 which I unlocked and now using on T-Mobile, it works good but a lot of times it switches to edge when there is 4g available. I believe there is a way to fix it by flashing t mobile radio but I dont want to brick my phone so I havent tried.

[Q] Can I use a Korean note 2 in the US?

I recently purchased a galaxy note 2 in Korea and I would like to bring it back and use it in the states with AT&T. I read that 4g would not be compatible with the phone but 3g will work? I plan to use this phone for business and I realized the 1 is not designated as voicemail due to it being a Korean phone. Is there way to add this feature on? Are there any other features that I will not be able to use with AT&T? I realize I won't be able to watch tv on my phone anymore.

I don't want to root it and I prefer to keep it stock. I just need to know if the phone will work with At&t's 3g network. It would also be nice if i could fine a way to check my voicemail.

Frequencies used on the AT&T Network (USA)
Frequency Protocol Class
850 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
850 MHz UMTS/HSPA 3G
1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA 3G
700 MHz LTE 4G
1700/2100 MHz(AWS) LTE 4G
T-Mobile (USA)
850 MHz/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA
1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G (EDGE)
1700 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1700 MHz LTE 4G
If that's the international version Note II check and see what frequency's it supports, and compare to AT&T or T-Mobile's. International devices are not carrier locked
If it's a branded phone meaning you got it from your cellar carrier, It could be locked to that provider only.
If your using the unlocked phone, look up the specs on your device and see what it supports, if it matches up to the above frequencies you should be good

Ok so I got these specs for my svh-250k and looks like 3g will be compatible but it also picks up umts 2100 and att LTE frequency uses 2100 for 4g. Am I wrong? Do I need to look at the secondary cellular network?
SVH-250K
Cellular;Networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1)

Should I sell my korean note 2 and purchase one in the states? I really would hate to get rid of my brand new amberbrown 32 gig phone and downgrade to a boring white or pebble blue 16gig phone. Decisions decisions.....
I'm in the same situation did you already go back to the states and try it out?

This thread is nearly 5 months old, and the OP only posted 4 times in this thread....total...
You will likely not get an answer from the OP...
Do a general search for info on the Korean note threads...as we have 4 or 5 that may help you in getting your answer....
Good luck to you....g

Just reading the specs I would go with T-Mobile, Faster HSPA speeds if you decide to keep your amber brown. Only downside is T mobile's coverage isnt as good as AT&T but if you re in a major city it shouldnt be a problem.
Good luck!

[Q] T-Mobile "Guarantees Sprint Note 2 to Work on Their Network"

So I called T-mobile to see about switching over from Sprint because tbh Sprint sucks in Dallas. I mean I can't go downtown and keep 4G or go inside buildings, etc.
So long story short they are sending me a SIM card for my Sprint Note 2 and they checked 3 times and said yes, it's one of the guaranteed phones to work on their network since the phone is a world phone etc. I highly doubt it. But they waived all the fees etc and it's on its way.
I know about the HW mods etc. And I know there is a SIM somewhere in the phone because I pulled it up using the SIM App.
My question is, does anyone know where it is located and can I really swap these out? The phone defiantly has the technology,
TECHNOLOGY

800, 1900 MHz
GSM:

I just have to figure out the rest. And how to unlock the phone! lol
Thanks
Note 2 dosent have a removable sim card. They didnt know what they were talking about. Dont get your hopes up as I gurantee it wontt work. You have no where to put the sim card. World phone as in you can call sprint international and roam on networks out of the country. Not roam on tmobile or ATT networks in the US.

I wonder then how can I unlock the SIM that it does have and use GSM if I own the phone already?

[Q] Does Lg G3 (D855) support T-Mobile LTE?

Hi All,
I got LG G3 D855 international version from eBay last week, I'm wondering if I can get LTE, or H+ network on the phone. On "Network Mode I can see "GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto" listed , when I choose it the signal bars on the notification area start looping, after that it switch back to "GSM/WCDMA" option !
I added a new APN for LTE , but still not working on LTE.
According to T-Mobile coverage map , my area is support 4G /LTE network . The phone is rooted , software version: V10b-GLOBAL-COM (For Hong Kong)
I can get 10-12MB download speed on H, I guessing it will be a way faster on H+ , or LTE.
Any idea about how to get LTE to work?
Thank you,
I'm surprised HSPA is even working, you must be in an area where they moved it to 1900 (Band 2). The D855 model doesn't support the AWS band, also known as Band 4 or the 1700 frequency (so says GSM Arena anyway) . This band is where T-Mobile has their primary network deployments these days. That means no HSPA+ (that's only on Band 4, not Band 2), and no LTE at all.
Bottom line is I don't think you want to be using the Euro D855 model on T-Mobile USA network. Not the right tool for the job.

I think it should still work. Frequencies tmo supports (straight from website):
4G LTE : Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz)
4G HSPA+: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)
3G HSPA: Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)
The phone supports 2100MHz and 700MHz, and not 1900 or 1700. I just did a speed test and get 4Mbps reporting it used HSPA+. If that works, I'm not sure why LTE wouldn't unless it *has* to have the 1700 to get LTE.
Edit: here's some info on the 700MHz band http://www.spectrumgateway.com/t-mobile-700a-spectrum. I'll try it when I'm on vacation. I live in NC unfortunately.
Hi, I use LG G3 D855 and looking for solution to get LTE on T-Mobile USA. After some research inside the forum, I decided to try to use CyanogenMod (CM 12.1) on my system.
It works well and now I can enjoy LTE on T-Mobile network, even though not pretty stable yet, but I am good with that since the OS still ongoing development.
You can try to download the OS on Cyanogen official website, and use the latest update available.
In order to confirm if you get LTE signal, beside check on your LTE sign, you can use LTE Discovery apps whenever you lost LTE connection and try to reconnect on an LTE signal.
Oh, forgot to mention, I am located in College Station, TX.
Beware: LTE Band 4 (1700/2100 combo) it's not the same LTE Band 1 (2100 only) that LG G3 D855 supports. Better talk using band numbers not frequencies.

[Q] Verizon HTC one on ATT

Hey guys, I've looked at some threads because I wanted to know how to make my Verizon HTC one work with ATT HSPA+. I've read that its possible, but im not sure how to go about it. I've tried changing APN's witth no luck. Would appreciate some help.
Other info--

Running on SlimKat 4.4.2

Q2: can I SIM unlock this phone for other carriers?
The m7wlv comes SIM unlocked out of the box. It only works on certain frequencies. See if your carrier supports the below frequencies.
CDMA: 800/1900MHZ,
UMTS/HSPA: 900/2100MHz,
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz,
LTE: 700MHz (Band 13)(only Verizon uses this LTE band thus far)

Those frequencies are directly from HTC's website in the device's specs. HSPA can only work on 900 or 2100 mhz. ATT uses 850 or 1900. (Source http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=14003)
That was quoted from our FAQ thread
